I have tried various types of floor vacs, but this is the most AWESOME one yet. I like the beater bar and especially the fact you can have it activated or not. I just really can 't say enough good things about this VAC. You will love it and I highly recommend buying it.

I love this vacuum ... I have an older model, and it stops working after a few years ago bought for me this one. I love it. It works great throw for my wood floors and ceilings. Before I bought this I bought a cordless vac another brand and was really not happy with the performance, I have the Eureka and the power has. Great product for the money.

This little vacuum sucks up a surprising amount of dirt. The beater bar is the key to it 's success as demonstrated by the quantity I empty the dust cup from each time. Great for in-between and emergency pick-ups.

Having owned several other small voids for our laminate flooring and as the owner of two indoor cats only, I must say that this is the best yet. In fact, I ordered two parts, just in case they stop doing !!!!!! There are two small features that could be improved. The first is that emptying the cup is messy as you have to scrape the hair off the pet with her hand. E ', however, easy to rinse and is like new. The second is that the engine is not very high. It 's also pretty good for a quick pick-up no crumbs on the carpet, but is intended to take the place of a regular upright for vacuuming heavy.

If you have a hairy dog as I do this is the perfect solution for everyday cleaning. It works great in hard floors and area rugs. The vacuum is small enough to be stored in any closet. It 's very light so is easy to move around even in staircases. The cord is short but any extension will help. The garbage receptacle is small so you have to clean it often but it depends in how much debris you have. This is a perfect vacuum for a dog owner that lives in an apartment or house with mostly hard floors and some area rugs.

This review is for the 169D, which is not on Amazon. It looks basically the same as the 169B vacuum however. I bought a vacuum stick with cable because he wanted more power and not want to worry about the battery run down. The Eureka 169D is one of the few models with cable. This vacuum is very affordable and easy to use. I was surprised by suction. He worked on my super wooden floors and rugs. But holy cow, is so strong that I can 't have to use it. This is a great lightweight vacuum that really works well on wood floors and carpet. The only problem is with his fist. It is very fragile. I had another for several years and finally broke his wrist. I buy another one because it works well, but I wish Eureka would work on the cable part and make it more durable.

I have all my Hardwood floors except for two bedrooms. I am retired and live alone, so not a whole lot of dirt. But, this is the handiest little floor care product I have ever had. Light weight, easy to manipulate, great one on my area rug. Always Hated Vacuum draging out the big TO DO THE AREA RUG. The absolutely only thing I would change, would be to have a longer cord, but not a real big problem. Had to "Swiffer " before, Picks up this much. And I have a cat. I bought last year when we were putting our house offered up for sale and I had to leave the house look like "perfect " every time we went. Quickly took the dirt and debris from both carpet and hardwood / tile floors. I am surprised how this is done on the carpet. Don 't get me wrong, it does not mean it will replace your vacuum. But in the week when I had to quickly get small pieces of hair from yarn and carpet before going to work, this gives.
