This machine worked fine for the first 6 uses (a total of 12 quarters). I always cleaned it and stored according to the instructions. Now he won t spray 'em all. I replaced the belt of bombs and followed the steps to solve problems, but still won t work '. Of course it is now out of warranty, and what I have read from others, I'm wasting my time and money, especially if I keep making attempts to have it repaired. Reviewers for the few, those with the digit that most of us have to be idiots and do not follow the manufacturer's guidelines, as some of you are affiliated with the company Bissell? It taught me to look "consumer " review "before making future major purchases. If you have recently purchased this machine and still have the receipt, I would suggest you return it for a full refund while you still can . Even if the cleaning is great now, i promise it will at once changed its value.

machine requires so much maintenanace is absurd. I do not clean more than a smal place before working silly board thinks. It is impossible to clean unless you know how to do things apart. I hate it! When it makes a big - so bad it does not work for more than 20 minutes to hours. my vacum rugs before I want to use the machine but it still clogs very quickly - its a pain you know where - not worth it!

After Bissell Vacuum regularly and having no problem with them, I decided to try a steam cleaner from them. I wish I had read the reviews first. It 'difficult to use and modify all parties. It worked very briefly, but the water no longer sprays, but the wheel brush. However, attachments to spray by hand. I Have to now try to check the belt, since there is a problem (according to the instruction sheet) that is making spray. If the belt is good, I'm not going to worry about trying to repair. Not worth my time and aggravation. Other research will only detergents. Since it's just me (and no pets or children), I do not use as much as others but is impressive not be breaking down so quickly.

[...]. It worked great the first "time I used it. Then, after the warranty was over, he stopped spraying water and soap. After some research, it seemed like a bad pump. Empty pumps out regularly Said . $ 35 and then "Installing a while, and still do not spray liquid. Stupidly gave up and bought another. He aspires to 3 years had only a few "sometimes used, especially for a single room. He took the cabin this weekend to clean the carpets, pre-treated a small room and then stopped spraying. He took his disassembly, the pump operates, the lens has a poorly designed that makes it a trigger spray. Here were broken, and "Two screw mounts the vacuum pump. He threw the mess in the trash where they belong. RDO NOT BUY ONE OF THESE - they are designed poorly YEARS TRASH>

I agree with some comments, this carpet cleaner is not perfect, but it is a lifesaver for me.I get water in my game room from time to time, and it takes water and clean the carpet every time it happens.I also have a dog, and when he has an accident, it cleans up the mess great, and the smell is completely gone. Ri 've had this Bissell vacuum for 5 years and would buy another if it broke.

I would give this machine 5 stars - but has a poor engineering design and after a short time. I bought this for home use light and Pls did work surprisingly well. At first I was very happy after seeing the results. But the use of third carpet brush stopped spinning. After investigating found that the beater brush is driven by a pulley connected to the end of the water pump. The pulley is pressed into a plastic piece is not nearly strong enough to absorb engine power and so the pulley does not begin to rotate on the shaft instead of transferring power and motion to the bar beater. Do not abuse this machine and nothing obstructed or detained in the bar. The warranty applies only to have to pack and ship the unit or unit to a service center near what is not t '. Too t ill could Bissell "have accused the other $ 2 for a portion of metal instead of a plastic part to expect what you would find in a play with Tonka toys. Made in China - what was I thinking?

I work at an apartment complex, and I see many types of steam cleaners and Vaccuum discarded. I use the opportunity to repair or intercepting parts from many different countries and see what works and what 'nt. After he repaired previously owned and purchased new, which I had in Hoover at least a few times. And that they disappointed by a nearly identical, which I used at work. I decided to buy this Bissell model for my new home. I'm really impressed with the Bissell vacuum that excellent performers at a reasonable price but with a few questions about longevity. My number one was with the flu Bissell steamer that the cleaning fluid pump within a year. I installed a new and even he failed after a month. So now I use a pump sprayer to spray my garden carpets first. The combined solution tank and Capture is a clever idea, but a pain to clean, because dirt lodges in the bladder. My device is not in a position to dispense fluid, so I removed the bladder. When the phone rings, I'm never in a position to easily off-switch, which is hidden in the middle of the back, indestiguishable heat from the adjacent switch by feel. The flimsy On-Board Hose Caddy not keep the hose coral islands, take a solid lead Bungie cord. compared to the Hoover It 'sa question of the lesser of two evils. Both the Hoover Bissell and the machines are poorly made, both poor performers lite meant for occasional use at best. They suffer from lack of sophistication, design and construction flimsy analigous myopic in the U.S. auto industry. Now is a good time for the manufacturer to a wet / dry Shop-Vac would add a powered brush head with their accessories line will be. I think my $ 99.00 shop vac is a better "steam cleaner". How hard can it really be to suck the carpet and brush some dirty water?

Some two to unfortunate events we HAD to buy something to Clean Our furniture. My child got really sick and Threw up all over Our microfiber sofa and it HAD the worst smell. We HAD to do something! It Was Already stained and we where thinking of just getting Some New furniture, leather furniture. So I go out and look at cleaners. I Already Have a Bissell Vacuum That I Love, The Healthy Home. So I Picked up the Bissell Proheat Trub. You Did not Have to Put on two pieces, Which were so easy. The instructions were great on how to get started. Way easy to use. So I scrub down Our loveseat and chair and They Came out looking NEW. AWESOME! I WAS thrilled to say the least. I definitely recommend this cleaner. Bissell or anything:)

This cleaner is a joke! The first time you turn, does not work '. After checking around, the group was not on. The band came out 5 times before it fell. The release of t-tube upholstery does not work at all. Can 'We know that mankind Well I had soaked the area. zero suction, no matter what you do. Poor work in some carpets. Can not get water succionada. I bought a can Bissell for 15 years and still works fine, but wanted a new upright. The joke was on me!

Please do not buy this unit, listen to the warning that it will not last. I must admit it works wonders at first but after about a year it will not work. Consider A Different items. One thing for sure Which happens water will fail to dispense. The hand held cleaner is not connected to the cleaner in a way that well thought-out and are fighting to keep attached to Get Every time you use it , such that you are choosing while you're cleaning it up constantly. The yellow lever on the side Which switch from floor cleaning to hand cleaning will break, it is very inexpensive designed there.I Have maintained the vac and clean it after use. I know it's not me neglected to maintain it. I know the price is pretty cheap But I would Suggest buying a more powerful industrial grade products.

August 11, 2008 RI purchased my Pro heat about 5 years ago. I used it shortly after I bought it and all was well. This occurred during a single weekend. Re R pulled the car out and tried to use it. Sprayer for the plan didn 't work. I tried the boiling water, taking the line was clogged, I tested the water pressure to clear the line ... and nothing. In disgust, I took in a repair shop. The cost is $ 30 for an estimate of VAC & SEW society. Just informed me that s 'about $ 109 for repair. R rWish I read the reviews for this rubbish in advance. NOT NOT BUY! Ll Ri 'take a hammer to my shame in a ceremony for bissel company.

I bought this vacuum 4 years ago and it still works just as well as it was the first time I used it. I read the manual front to back and follow the recommendations of surface preparation and cleaning of the Recommendations of the device to a tee. I believe this has contributed to the longevity of my machine compared to all the others listed here with a negative reaction. A machine will only perform to its full potential when used correctly and maintained properly. This is my third product I bought the Bissell over the past 15 years and I still have and use all three of them without any problem. My vacuum beater bar needed Replaced eleven o'clock as I wore it after 7 years of use!

This does not work, it 's All There is to it. What ever you pay for it, planning to pay double bills for repairs. It gets below or get clogged in the unit hand tool, even when you run clean water after use-it-through which is a big Hassell (Also note Bissell ryhmes with Hassel) R. RIT clean but not worth the problem. I'm a repair guy told me that the dispensers that Should Not Be Used Because of that flaw in design. Instead you must, put the dust in the water R. Rin product in my opinion should be taken of the market with so many bad reviews.

I bought my unit in September 2007. The first time I used it after a while 'time stopped dispensensing water and soap. (Aspiration still worked). It 'was under warranty so I took it in for repair. They had to replace the motor and belt. It took three weeks. When I returned I started to clean my carpets and after about half an 'hour I felt a strange odor, has stopped delivering water and soap, and smoke was there for a few seconds. I took it back to replace the motor and the belt. RSO far its been out of service most of the time there I 'had. Rit soap passes through very quickly and leaves the carpet very wet. RI would never buy another I would not recommend to anyone. I would have given this 0 stars but wouldn t 'so I had to accept an insert.

same model I bought this 7 years in August, it finally took a shovel with 5 children to clean up after, I want to take a shovel. :) So I need another person. I looked at all the different models. I still love the ease for the. Some have two different tanks each to fill a vacuum. This boat has a large reservoir .... Skip this one is warm and easy to execute.

I Have owned this machine along with two other units Bissell, see the pictures I posted. They break, plain and simple. If you think it worth 200.00 dollars to pay for cleaning carpets ang once the machine is for you Ri. Thinking awesome bad machine from the market and the company knew it was Bissell 's This is bullshit RBUY. A Hoover IT YOU wont regret

I Have owned 2 of These carpet cleaners. The first one I loved Until it broke. I Tried fixing it many times, spare parts ordered from the internet. Kept breaking it so I Bought a new, same model, Bissel cleaner. After A Few months same problem. Belts broke, broke plastic knobs, plastic hose holder broke, The Grove pulley on the brush broke. Even ordering spare parts, and using parts from the 1st Bissel Did not keep running this second cleaner for More than a year. These are expensive items, and I can not AFFORD to replace them Every year. I do like the heat aspect, carpet cleaners These and when to work, They are wonderful. But too many cheap parts, too much plastic for me. I will buy a more expensive model Bissel ProHeat next time. Also, I Have One room with deep pile carpet, really thick, Probably 2 inches long. Do not use this model on deep, long, heavy pile carpet. You will burn up the belts for sure. This model can not handle deep pile carpet.

I bought a Bissell 7901-W in C_stc_. The first time I used it as I pulled back on the dirty carpet left " net" line and " dirty" line. I guess the soap does not spray water spray evenly. Seemed to suck up the amount of water that can be accepted at first, but then wet after the first day of use, it left the carpet soaking. I read the instruction manual and stll can 't figure out why it's doing. Proper exhaust ventilation at the bottom of the unit, pointing to the direction of air flow carpet. This can 't good for the engine exhaust suction as practically blocked by the wet carpet, also can not be good for the life of the engine such as giving extra pressure on the exhaust mechanism. The "Hook " which holds protudes suction tube from the side of the machine so that when I pull the machine along the right side of the wall, the holder hook or winning t 'let Bissell touching the wall. I hit that plastic holders so many times that already exists "stress change color" and I think that that will be decided soon. Conclusion Rin, this is a very bad engine built. I doubt if they spend more than half an hour to design and obviously never tried it. Judging from what I read in the latest review of the latest model of Bissell, Bissell has no interest in building a good product. My next purchase for carpet washing machine is either going to be a Royal or Oreck.

What a sleazy product! Bought the item to B *** B ** for about 185 bucks plus tax. I have a yellow lab and light hair on the carpet is an issue. I have used this carpet cleaner probably just over ten times, but less than 20 times. It uses lots of water and detergent, and leaves lumps keep pet hair from carpet, which I run around to collect. Quite hard to use, but apparently I was satisfied with the results. RThen it happened was last in July 2007, s board is flimsy floor / furniture dial 'broke weakest design. The water does not spread. I opened the top lid, and tried to glue it, but it did not work. Frustrated, I put it away. I tried using it yesterday, this time the handler does not want to lock to stand still. General very cheap construction and is quite a bit of design and operation flaws. I am in the market for a new carpet cleaner, but I don 't know Which brand / model Will I go this time. Oh well ...

I've had this many seams, but a carpet Cleaners To Be The Best So Far, stopped over in a year.

As other reviewers Mentioned ---- it will work great at first but soon becomes nothing but a project to repair and a nuisance. R3 Tanks Replaced, water leaks everywhere, not sucking, not 't clean the carpet and just absorb the water. RWE brought it to a workshop to replace some parts (seals and suction thing). $ R70 later and he broke two dressings later. As for sucking: the mechanic told me that he won 't get better. RCalling the service was a waste of time because you ask to see a lot of things about cleaning, just to tell you to take him to a workshop. Rit 's sitting in the corner now, because it leaks water from somewhere and will be trashed soon.

I have a mixed review on this subject. Although I feel that the Proheat clean well, showing speed and lights are a great asset, it breaks too easily. We have this item for three years, and soon after the warranty was up broke the lock to keep it upright. Then, the water carrier does not seat properly in the holder. Now, three years, the vacuum on function've had water and eat very little above the ground.

At first, this product seems great. I used it in a rental property and it is a wonderful job. In fact, I think the carpet is cleaner than when a professional did it. (A professional who just goes all over very quickly.) R problem rThe is, it now is just too big, strong, weak shop-vac. It stopped spraying water and detergent after a very short time. I tried manually spraying the carpet in front of the machine and using the machine to extract the water, but what a waste of time. I will never buy one again. It is very frustrating.
