I have not done that review, but after using a stick vacuum for 7 months, I felt compelled. My Husband hates this vacuum. It 's heavy, the wheels squeak, and although it has great suction, and it was quiet (except for the squeaking wheels), its very unpleasant to use. Our final is an Oreck XL Vacuum That will take years. I won 't be using this stick vacuum Anymore - LL scratch afraid it ' floor. RBecause all the glowing reviews on other Miele vacuums, I took the plunge and bought the Miele upright pirouette. I almost did not purchase 'another Miele Because of my failure to stick vacuum. When I saw my Husband had bought another Miele, she wanted me to return it. I 'm glad I gave it a try. The pirouette works like a dream. This is what I expect from Miele. The pirouette glides in on the floor, the weight than I 'd like, but was quiet and very easy to maneuver, and its a pleasure to vacuum. RMiele should rethink about selling this stick vacuum. It really gives them a bad name, especially for a first-time user.
Several stick vacs I checked out before purchasing the Miele S163 But didn 't see Any That seemed to appear in quality. Great for hardwood floors, fine for small pickups on carpet. Works really well on stairs and is very quiet. However, the loop designed to hold the plug to the cord is wound for storage When it has too small an opening to allow the cord to enter. I just simply wrap the plug end wound around the cord. Beyond That Would Just Be the expense.
* NOTE THAT is the same model available on Amazon for a Different price, I 'm not sure why. R r * The only Difference between the S163 and S168 is the HEPA filter on the S168 ... I found it Was Significantly Cheaper to buy the S163 and add the HEPA filer Purchased separately. R rit is extremely difficult to find to stick vac bagger. For Those of us with allergies (or just an aversion to dust) "bagless " vacuums Are Not attractive. Dumping the dust bin re-releases lots of junk (Especially the Smallest, lightest particles) back Into the air. R rI Bought the Miele S163 Simply Because It Was the only stick vac bagger I Could Find Several years ago. I am thriller with it. It has very strong suction and rolls across Easily Our hardwood floors. It Does Not blow or push around like many Other vacuums crumbs, Actually it picks them up on the first pass. The chamber is sealed and After Several years of use the inside of the vac is Literally like new, Every speck of dust've Been Trapped in the bag or filter. R rBecause I only use mine on hard floors, I find I don 't Have to change the bag more Often Than Our large canister vac (Which we use for carpets). Even hard floors very dirty don 't generate nearly as much "waste " as carpets, and I change the S163 bag Generally Every month, Even Though it ' s Not Usually full. I have a cat and two Children Cheerio-eating and use the vac at least eleven per day. R rBottom line: this vacuum has Kept my kitchen crumb-free floor for Several years and shows no sign of quitting anytime soon.
I own a Miele canister vac as well and always used it on my wood floors with the ground system. Then I was persuaded to buy this cute little green so I would stay vac always have a stick vac "ready to go" (I know a lot of cleaning with 3 boys!). Well, it worked well for about 6 months, then a few pieces of metal banged on the head while I was with me on the ground and scratched badly. The vacuum est aussi hard and doesn 't lean slightly against Things; mine slipped down and promptly cracked the plastic floor fixing. Vacuum Cleaner Miele Vacuum Its purpose is also plastic waste. I 've owned a little cheaper Kenmore glace vacuum almost as good aim are much more sustainable. You can also detach the wand from the body and uses it as a hand cleaner, it is very heavy object.
a powerful vacuum (1000W), that 's fairly quiet and has a good job on BOTH floors and carpets. it 's around the large apartment with its 26 m long cord.the miele s143 is solid, built without excessively heavy and is well balanced. Tilts his head slightly back and forth is really helpful things like vacuuming the furniture leg. head loses full contact anything if you bring the vacuum down to the level of the carpet in the fashion - Trying (ummph) to under the couch or bed, but otherwise generally low, but not the heart of his job.The s143 Can be used with the smaller head / column attachment and without the long handle, like a really strong hand vac. the very useful function for cleaning furniture.there is an option to upgrade HEPA filter (although the included carbon filter bag good enough for me) and I think an option to upgrade a motor head but I suspect If That ' s given serious consideration, the S147 is probably the way to go.off tangent: I 'm not sure why the description of the color of Ivory, but the s143, as far as I know, lists, occurs only in the mint green shown in the picture . All in all, a finely built product that 's well to the needs of the residents of this apartment ... but a bit expensive on the page.
