This is the first time we used our Airwasher Venta humidifier and it did a good job of cleaning the accumulated dirt. Unfortunately it is not usabled motor and the blades are difficult to use an old toothbrush to scrape off the dirt on fan blades. But the product is the job it should do.

This cleanser is for cleaner air, humidify although not a listed as something that must be purchased with an order of a filter humidify.

This is a bottle of citric acid (the stuff that makes sour lemon) with a wetting agent that helps dissolve minerals (scale, calcium carbonate) which is deposited on the evaporator (the white plastic moving finned drum) of Airwash. Just fill out the housing thoroughly with fresh water for the entire contents (8 ounces), turn to low setting, after 2 hours, drain the water that now has loosened scale, clean any remaining scale and don 't forget to get stuff on the bottom of the fan. No smell, like vinegar I used. Does not last as "Lime-Away " cleaning bathrooms. Our local water is hard and during the summer, mold (black and red) can flourish.
