I 've used my master. Bento a few times and I like it. I pack leftovers in containers and placed them in the refrigerator the night before, then nuke 'em in the morning and put them in the noon-glass. At midday, the contents warm or warm (not hot, but really) enough to eat. I also packed (cold and hot items in the same glass that you 're not to do). I take cold, only the products, when I go to work, they do not seem to absorb heat from the other containers. R rmy favorite part of the Lord. Bento (next to the name of Mr.. Bento) is its upright design. I have a long, flat bento, and it 's impossible to carry it flat, and it leaks. Mr Bento doesn 't have this problem. The soup jar is not sealed. The bag is a big plus too.
My daughter of 7 years are tired of sandwiches and school lunches. I was asking good hot food at home! GH was hesitant about purchasing this because of the high price point, but I'm so happy. The lunch was so be worth the money. When my daughter completes the meal is still nice and warm. Our leftovers, give good use! The only problem is that you need food aid monitor for the lid.
I brought Mr. Bento so that I could take the food on the road every day. As a sales person I spend all day in the car and was tired of fast food makes me fat and unhealthy. Mr. Bento has served its purpose very well. It is large enough to allow me to take 1 meal and 2 snacks. The hot / cold compartments work well, but Don 't expect your food to be roasted, when lunchtime rolls around. The device that 's works well enough to handle most food and carrying case makes it easy to carry. R rmy like Mr. Bento is only that not all compartments and seal well if it tips over you have been dumped in the container and out. Some foods if you use it in a closed environment like a car, you will also be able to smell. R Rall in all Mr. Bento has been instrumental in helping me achieve my goals of losing hope so I can take about good healthy food. And if you compare some spills and smell certain foods vs. loss of 40 pounds. in 5 months, the choice is clear. R rThis product has served me well and I recommend it to anyone who needs to carry food to work.
It 's very good! easy to make, easy cleaning and a good capacity! and can keep warm at least 8 hours! RMaybe will buy one for myself ~
Bento lunch box like this. I have not put all the soup there yet. I love how everything fits, but separately. Easy to clean and easy to use.
I need not use this product up and just give it to someone. Point to the person who gave it, think its great.
I got this as a Christmas present because I take my lunch to work every day and find Tupperware to be frustrating. (My Tupperware draw is a nightmare!) I didn 't want to keep using plastic and aluminum foil Baggio access I thought this would be a great alternative. After using it for a week I like the product, but I do 't love it. I have access to both a microwave and a fridge at work so that wasn 't really an issue for me, (it seems to hold warm temperatures for about 2-3 hours in my experience) but I liked being able to pack everything in one container and not having my lunch (and sometimes breakfast or dinner) in lots of different types and containers Baggio. I work 9 hours a day so I sometimes eat two meals at work and I thought the Mr. Bento would be too small but you can fit a surprising amount of food in the container type. A full serving of oatmeal FITS perfectly in the soup bowl. And can you fit in on a sandwich bun in the smallest containers-it 'sa bit of a squeeze but it works! R rMy Biggest complaint is the largest bowl. I know that it does not claim to be spill proof but it does not seal at all. Every time I have put anything with even a small amount of liquid (where Beets Salad) covered the entire container ends up in the liquid even though I have a short walk to work and always hold the Upright container. Putting in kind of soup or brother in the biggest container doesn 't work. Today I got to work and there was liquid everywhere and the top of containers that Popper off to Reveal the Styrofoam that others have mentioned. And Don 't get it, is it supper to do this or is it just some kind of manufacturing flaw? After some work I was able to pop it back on but am considering sending it back because of this. R no others have mentioned it does seem to hold Flavors and smells. I had blueberry Greek yogurt containers in one one day and crackers in that container to the next and even after thorough washing with hot water and soap, my crackers taste like blueberries. It wasn 't an altogether unpleasant surprise but I can imagine other combinations that would not be as pleasant. I also do 't love that it ' s not dishwasher safe. I wash all parties soon as I get home from work and it 's not the worst thing ever, but it would be nice to throw them all in the dishwasher from time to time! R rit 'sa nifty little contraption but I ' m not sure if I would have paid 40 dollars for it. I bought a 7 dollar in September of Tupperware on Black Friday and that was kind of doing the trick and was a lot cheaper. I like that the Mr. Bento gives you some portion control and Stacks Neatly, but I do 't think it ' s worth the steep ticket price.
I like the list and the overall size of this organization this lunch jar. I Might Be Thinking cap clip slightly difficult to open and close, but even my 7 yo nephew could snap and unsnap the lid fine. Something to Consider If You Do not have a strong grip panels. Food containers and lids are microwave safe, dishwasher safe target is not a big libel THAT IS, then the 3-star rating.
I bought this and finally decided to use it. First, it is a nice design, small intelligent devices. Four small bowls fit snugly into the flask-shaped container, which is similar in size to a small cooler. The black case is very smart - has a top carrying handle and a hand over the sling over your shoulder. The first time I opened the bag, I was positive that the lunch box would not fit through the opening. I was wrong! Zipper bag open on the side, making removal a snap. The cups are well sized for a package of more suitable food. R rI have some criticisms. The top of soup was not entirely leakproof. Also Do not t 'keep my hot soup completely, but I think this was because I removed all the other bowls of the case and there was not much space and therefore not enough heat preservation. The spork is always very nice, but as a spoon is not t 'large. But I was very happy to slurp the soup with chopsticks helping to push the food in my mouth waiting. R rI am still happy with it. It's expensive but I think it's worth a bit of it.
Well, I 'forward: I take the bus to work each day. I do not own a car, not since the incident. Six.3 For months, I was confronted with a bullying appointed Gerald bus stop, surname unknown. It bothers me. Steals my lunches, throw my paper in the oncoming traffic, pushing me around, took my glasses and throw them in the tree that overhangs the bench where I sit. He is Uncle Tom's my advanced age, and none of my colleagues busmates eat for my defense. I am sick and tired of working hard all day long without Mopping floors lunch. It 's tiring business, concierge services, and at my age, I need to fill the time. R rThat 's why I bought the pot lunch lined steel, silver. It is the best, safest container for my food that I ever owned. Before going to the bus stop, I pack it with mayonnaise and pickles, my favorite breakfast. I secure the lid before chaining the pot to my body, locked three times, eleven each armpit and then a giant padlock ten pounds, based on my chest. The first day I did what Gerald was not happy, The other look at me like I was crazy, but I knew better. My lunch was safe. Rand R Then Gerald grabbed my hand from the collection of papers that I keep my person in case of emergency. Stop, I Yellen. Stop! Too late. I threw them in the street where they were quickly crushed by some motorists unaware. To laughter from Gerald I walk down the street to pick up my papers now contaminated soil and asphalt. Was it not pleasant. But mostly Secure was my lunch, I was guaranteed to rejuvenate and delicious meal. If it were not for Zojirushi I t 'Know What I ' d do.
I love this item. A LOT! The size can fit healthy lunches (or dinners) and it stays hot / warm. I Noticed people talking about the smells Picked Up Their containers. I 'm happy to say mine is smell-free thanks to a trick a friend Taught me. Place cabbage into it and let it sit over night (Especially if You Had something extra stinky). The cabbage Absorbs the smell and the nasty smell is gone. (Don 't eat the cabbage after though, It Might taste a little funky.) R ref you are up for a unique approach to healthier eating, Than this is for you. Traditional bento style meals are best. know if you prefer huge American sized portions, You Might Want to Reconsider.
I commute 40 miles a day cycling, horse and everything that I 'm supposed to eat 4,000 + calories only draw. Mr. Bento is the first container this I 'occasion that allows me to Carry That much food without making a mess or taking too much space in my suitcase. Maintains its insulating hot foods hot and cold foods cold, but of course you can 't do both at once, so that ' s best to bring everything cold and pop food must-be-hot in the oven Microwave on arrival. Clean containers and not easily absorb food odors or flavors. All around, you know the product 'big.
I found this item very useful and Work exactly as described. My only complaint is the soup bowl is small. Truth, it is the smallest of containers. You CAN NOT put a Whole can of soup if you just want to eat soup for lunch. The "Rice " is the largest container and if you're trying to watch your carbs the food pyramid is set up backwards. You can not put in any soup or liquid container Other as it will leak. The soup bowl has a screw top Where Other Have Either container plastic lids twist on or snap on. I like the product review I ever stated in a container is the smallest number soup that is my main purpose in buying the product.
I 've HAD this bento for about six months and use it to bring lunch with me Every day. It works great and definitely encourages eating a healthy lunch. The main problem I have with it is That the plastic tends to soak up smells and stain easily. For example, my soup container Has a faint orange color and smells due to eating tomato soup in it a few times. Besides That It 's great though and highly recommended.
This proved to be a convenient way to make a very decent working dinner without using many large containers that end up taking up space in a refrigerator gross people! I keep this on the shelf at work and mostly hot (or cold) components do remain the right temperature. My main complaints are minor - if something is hot on the bottom, it will radiate heat to the container top. Also, the largest of the four containers is not capable of containing liquids or willow because it is not designed to be "tight " so to speak. Regardless, I use it every day and people in the eye It usually break room.
The bag comes with the lunch jar is very useful: the top straps to remain closed, easy to throw over your shoulder to keep hands free. On several occasions, I left the pot lunch at home and the bag used to take my thermos and yogurt containers stacked three. It may not be the reason to buy this product, but it 's finest.
I am really excited to buy Mr. Bento After Reading all the reviews posted here. I Was looking for a bento box to feed hungry, growing kids. By Mr. Bento, I Know That My kids and husband will get plenty to eat in school and office. It 's very Chinese Have at least three dishes and a soup, and Mr Bento for each achieves this easily. Furthermore, elementary WHERE microwave is not available, it is the only way my kids are Have hot lunches (with enough food) in schools. I ended up buying three units from Amazon in August. R rEverything worked as planned until I wash the empty container. R rthe first time I used Mr. Bento, I put some steamed snap peas (from Trader Joe 's) above containers for lunch. I wash the containers and discovered that Night That lids from containers (It's the pea Snap) is a chronic smell (the smell of snap peas, such as beans) on the underside. It did not matter 'if there is any snap peas left on the container (my wife and my daughter did already historic ' t), snap pea smell that Stay on the lid after washing. R Ri Tried regular dishwashing detergent, baking soda / dish washing detergent, baking soda / dish washing detergent / vinegar combination wash and soak the lids and not worked. R rLast week, again the same thing happened in The Other tier container Mr. Bento When I packed sardine style fried vegetables Beijing. The lids Now Is the smell from the willow. I can not get rid off the smell from the willow on the lids. R RSO some research on the internet and found out that it is a common occurrence in Have you smell the plastic containers / lids. To avoid the odor by another dog [...], lids apart by packing smelly food (but sometimes it 's hard to find smelly foods establishing Up What It ' s too late), by washing container as soon as possible after that meal (or even toss unwanted pieces of food and give it a quick rinse / wipe with a paper towel). But my case, the snap pea in containers from 7:00 to noon Which inevitably smell left on the container lids that no amount of wiping then help to rid the smell. So when you smell occurs, it suggests [...] What we do: r kilo washing, place the open container (lids off) in direct sunlight for an afternoon in the air they (the secretion with their lids off containers also helps dissipate Odors). For stubborn Odors, Some recommend applying a paste of lemon juice and baking soda. Cascade 's plastic booster can be added to the dishwater (Either dishwasher or handwashing) to help the detergent work with plastic, plastic whitening and deodorizing. R Ri hope my experience with Mr. Bento will help owners of Mr. Bento Other to Avoid the smell in the lids. R als, three Mr Bentos that I had bought from Amazon had all the same serial number. Shouldn 't They Have A Different For each product serial number? That 's really strange!
Packing lunch for my husband has never been easier. It 's great to know that every day he ' s lunch, healthy nutritious and interesting. No more ham sandwiches ....... then only occasionally, and now:)
The Zojirushi Mr. Bento is a great product, as you have the information you need to know what you 's get and how to use it. R rWrapped in a bag for easy transport, you get the Mr. Bento jar (and a spoon, though I prefer making chopsticks). This pot is a little thermos-like, but the 'does not purport to burn hot coffee for hours he ' s intention to hold a Japanese breakfast ready in the morning for breakfast, a role it 's perfectly designed for. Inside the jar Mr. Bento four serving plates. The bottom bowl is for a soup or broth, and has a screw top for this purpose. The next large bowl and is intended to keep the rice warm and has a top leaky. Two small bowls are designed to contain a main meal (protein) and a side element (vegetables). No. These items are dishwasher-and microwave, as the food is hot intended to be submitted in the morning and served as it is noon. Guard down bowl of rice soup warm, keeping back the meat to proper temperature, T, n turn have hot enough to harm your vegetables. System SA He 'smart enough, really. R rsize seems to be an issue at first sight. The pot is only about six inches wide and a small workshop, bowls and therefore in a more fine-tuning. The total service area is 41.6 ounces, and most Westerners scoff at this, it 's easier than half the space of a traditional lunch. However, the wonderful secret of this jar is in that space of the chamber is sufficient to respond to a meal fit for combat troops to the front if you know how to use it. R rConverted to millileters (the standard system for measuring the ability bento), this pot contains 1.230 ml of food. In a Japanese standard layout, the size of a bento is roughly equivalent to half the calories. Thus, all about bento may contain 1,200 calories if you don 'is filled with the standard soup / rice / meat / vegetables available. Chili same containers could easily store / sandwich / steak / dessert, the soaring number of calories. Thus, Mr. Bento can easily accommodate a 2-3 times full of calories that a child would need a meal, and of course any adult What needs. Your problem with the pot so ISN t to try to cram a meal, Into, c 'is actaully Realizing that he needs you to underfill a little to eat healthily! (And oh how much you 're-think your portions when you see the difference). R RThere are some drawbacks to Mr. Bento that deserve to be mentioned. The first is obvious the problem of the format. The pot of soup is the only unit really waterproof, so you 's a bit limited in how you mix your dog food. The system is also designed to heat food actions described above. If you want hot mix and cold food desserts in the same container, you 's Going to have to do some tests to see how the heat-transfer throughout the day (even if it ' s easy to build a system with return temperature to warm or cold soup of meat, etc..) It 's also a bit non-dishwasher, which may or may not be a problem for you. The small vented cover for the soup can be a bit difficult to get out and clean, but if you use chopsticks like me, the solution is obvious. R RA proposed lot is an excellent alternative to other ways of doing lunch. Any search of a fine of up "bento cookbooks " Amazon offer, and to bury! You 's spend a little more time and thought into the food preparation to use this, but when you do, health (and the energy and focus ...) Benefits of eat with this system are simply too good to pass up ...
Benedict I bought these after reading through revisions. I decided that if I drink No matter stained. I also decided not to put liquid in a container that t was not "designed for the liquid. Knowing these things allowed me to advance to the lunch box like this much better than might have otherwise so thanks to all reviewers here. I had a pleasant surprise ... I ma 'big man in the same way that large portions. When I saw the size of bowls that source if I had lost my $ $. But I was surprised When I take lunch in it. I could not t 'all finished! was never anything but they were too few things and I was stuffed.
A great way to bring a healthy lunch to work. When I make a macrobiotic lunch was great works (soup, beans, etc.). Keep food warm and the food is very cold. Also, appropriate portion sizes for healthy eating.
This is a very good product and like my husband lunch most days. The only thing that really irritated with him two of us is to cover the bottom of the container. It's a daily struggle to get him so I can eat lunch and then so I can wash the container. Now we both gave up on him, and 's sitting on the kitchen counter. My husband is a strong guy!
I got this information from the website. There Was a high school student 's mom talk about it. I bought it for my 1st grade was in Elementary school. While we use the "Zojirushi Mr. Bento stainless-Steel lined Lunch jar, Silver ", my son refuses to take luch cold again. Every day I want to bring the hot luch by Zojirushi Mr. Bento. We cooked meal at night. In the morning, we only use the microwave to heat food again. It is micorwavable. BTW: As we bring the hot lunch, my son can eat Vegito more than ever before. We can also supply adequate nutrition without him junk food. Weighing Could Be His control in the normal range.
Wonderful bento! Perfect food temp. Filling the bento bowls is like an adventure and makes lunches for Preparing the joy. Highly recommend the Zojirushi Mr. Bento!
I bought this for my old 8YR to bring her lunch to school. He won 't eat a sandwich and just likes hot food. I assume this is a great option for us. We only use it once and one time he said it will use only eat food from a container. My son will tell her meatballs and pasta is warm under the container but I nuked it in micro until steaming hot! It was still hot enough for him to eat 4 1 / 2 hours later. My husband says he will use it but, it 's too much food for her to eat well. Overall, not the best purchase I 've made, but not the worst. If you re 'a big man who likes to eat a whole lot of food, this is for you. If you eat like a regular guy I think would be better Ms.Bento. Hope this helps someone who wants to try it for their children or themselves.
