And eat the attachments off during use. This vacuum is outrageously overpriced, and finally sold it on Craigslist at a loss just to be rid of it.

I have two dogs and three cats. One dog is a Golden. Does the vacuum pulls a lot out of the purpose of carpet Much of golden hair gets stuck in beater bar. I have to cut the skin off the bar, at least monthly oz I vacuum daily. I thought their 'can be so wrong I feel it to be repaired. They told me that dogs with long hair is needed to clear the bar of self batter monthly. This is a real bread and negative "any advantage to having a box when I have to cut the skin off the beater bar.

I 'ma girl, so I ' ve used a whole lot of Different brands over the years. This is one of the very worst I ever used vacuum cleaners! R r1. They have a cheap plastic feel to them. Because they want plastic is above all! Not at all durable. R r2. My miniature shopvac is better suction. t The item could even suck the water out of a space bag. That 's pretty sad for a vacuum should be Known for its ' suction power. R R3. Because the head is so light and a strange, stupid angle, not the brush does get pushed down on the carpet in enough to get good animal hair up or fluff it up and give it a nice just vacuumed look. R R4. It gets stuck in small ridges like the edge of a rug. If you lift it while vacuuming, (like to get it up onto said carpet), brush start hitting the wrong angle in the head and makes an extremely annoying and loud buzzing sound. Like, "NYEEEEEEEEEHHH! " R R5. Sometimes have an issue nowhere gets head stuck in a funny angle that makes vacuum extremely difficult to push. (And people in the House that won 't take it well. D:) r R6. Emptying the canister is very difficult and messy. R R7. The hose is a kinda cool idea, but it 's pretty hard to try to use. I 'm not that high! R R8. The tools like the fall off while I 'm using them. I usually take off and put them away so they want them don 't irritate me. R rJust overall I really hate using them. lol I 'm sticking with Riccar. Those are nice and Mostly extreeemely cheaper than Dysons.

The suction is great. Especially with the hair of animals. But Bristol has a hard strip of the right SU-loop carpet. I now use the suction line all the time because we will not pick up something flat like a very large group of hair. So Its been a cheap carpet. But thats about it. It was certainly worth the $ 550 you paid for it.

I 've had my Dyson DC14 Animal for a couple of months and it ' s amazing how much dog hair can pick up I bought a Hoover vacuum cleaner designed for homes with pets, but didn 't collect much of the hair Carpet & tool design extension was so poor that needed a screwdriver to disassemble and remove the hair wrapped around the brush. The Dyson animal has a similar extension tool, but only require a coin to unlock one end and remove the brush to clean the dog hair. It 's not a cheap machine, but definitely get what you pay for! It 's the best vacuum I ' ve ever owned and that s 'when it comes to pick up dog hair unbeatable and my dog is a Husky mix of so many ' s skin to shed.

I've had this vacuum for a year and a half. My friend has a Dyson and loved it and was one of the main reasons for my purchase. This gap would be the best b for all people have wall to wall carpet in the house, but if you have hardwood with blankets the area, which is what I have. A few months ago I told my friend that was not t 'mad by Dyson and agrees Said and Kool-aid had disappeared and was not "too fond with him or (face, thank you! ). R rthe suction vacuum has good tools, but I think in the flats, there are a lot of things and I just doesn t 'pick - just moves around. Forget going into corners or against the wall without tools. The tools are a bit annoying to use because the hose is pulled into the vacuum. The angle that the brass brush attached to the adhesive connection is too high and can not fit under my bed like I do in my old vacuum. R empty rthe is quite heavy and should not be a lever is able to lift the front wheels so you can get up off the carpet over hardwood or tile, so you need to lift manually - a real pain. The brush is quite powerful and I 'If you scratch my floors. And Don 't like the fact that every time you switch on the vacuum, I rotate the brush. Should be kept when was the last settings used. Also, forget using this in a carpet Unless you have the helper who can hold down the carpet and prevent it from moving up the suction. I 'voice had this problem with other vacuum cleaners, vacuum cleaners but the handles had where I could maneuver the vacuum so I could suck the carpet, press the same time. This has no interference in this or scales. R wrap rthe cable is such that we must find the whole thing before you can use the tools, now if you have a job that only want to use the tools to suck the dirt, be ready to deploy the whole thing. R rin in the end, this gap is not worth the money and I will probably try to sell it to get rid of him.

Someone smoking after almost 20 years old Miele (Panasonic), which panicked and did everything you would expect for a major appliance purchase: Consumer 's Report, local shops, word of mouth, etc comments Online. R RThe Dyson I borrowed from my carpool rider took a lot of trash from the carpet (a house with two cats, two daughters). I also noticed that occasionally hear a loud noise / ratchet area rugs, as if something was forced to a resonance, and only stopped when they break off and leave her empty. My readers did not notice because I don 't think there ' s carpet anywhere in your home (all carpets from wall to wall). R rOthers have said that mankind Consumer 's Report doesn' t Dyson rate very well, it was hard to believe after you understand what I saw outside my house. The nearest Sears store had some of the top rated models CR and had a pretty good demo for a motivated seller. She included the Dyson on the floor and guess what? He made the same horrible noise when he was run a carpet he had heard from which I borrowed. Too bad I was in a state of denial (d 'oh!). R people Rother reviews 's on advertising Dyson ' s are real fish gray snapper. The British accents and "what are you waiting for? " Condemns the tone that you feel like an idiot for not rushing to buy one. Still, it 's easy to see what he is saying and why the Dyson design is unique and worthy. If Dyson was t 'to something, why do so many competitors were quick to release similar designs? Bottom line? I was beginning to see the light Dyson, especially after twenty years of having to remember to change the bag and finding local shops for cheap replacements, unusual. Two words: "no bag, baby! " R rHowever , the first time around the house with my wonder remanufactured (From a site that does not require the Amazon) brought me back to the stark reality that had been buy a fish gray snapper was able to shake the horrible ratchet that I had heard before (twice, no less!). I looked through the manual and there, on page 15, is as follows: rProblem r: Loud "ratchet " noise from vacuum cleaner heads rPotential solution : ratchet have indicated that there is an obstruction brush and aims to protect the belt in the machine. Note: Also occurs with the ratchet, if carpet is not properly connected to the SU Or LOOSE YOUR floor has carpet tassels. No obstruction, WITH YOU want to brush with bare floors mode control (emphasis added). R too many words, live with it on or off the beater bar and Ana cleaning power r Ris that Dyson's Achilles Heel? The opinions of people here, I 'd say. Am I disappointed? Undoubtedly, though the machine does still seem to work exceptionally well on the carpet from wall to wall. Is there a solution? Yes, quick reactions to either turn the machine and the noise, or a pair of earplugs (which s 'just) hope and an empty house (my wife was crying when she was using this morning). Dyson was going to recommend someone else to buy or another? Very doubtful, given the condition of repeating the noise, even at a price remanufactured, and that 's the main reason for my qualification.

I wanted to love this vacuum. We felt welcome and the high price would be worth it if it really worked as described. Rafter approximately one month (used 8-9 times) a horrible noise ratchet started. I thought I had done something wrong so I reread the instructions carefully. RThe The handle should be vertical when you turn it on, you can move to the area you want cleaned. Are you kidding me? For the amount of money we spent on what you think it glides from one surface to another. So I followed the instructions carefully, even if it has slowed things down. When the DC14 works, it does an excellent job. This lasted for about a month. RThen started ratchet, even if I followed the heavy directions. R ri-line help is called and told me to put in an authorized repair center. I did and was told that I had a defective clutch. OK if you think that replacing the clutch fixed the problem. Got it home and after a while he began to moan at me again. R R has returned to service center and was told they are no longer supported Dyson machines. I explained that they were not easy to repair. The design of belts, pouches and other internal parts were inaccessible and sometimes broken plastic parts, while working on them. Ri R 'm so frustrated with this purchase until I see someone looking to buy a Dyson at Costco or Best Buy and tell them my experience nightmare. Ri am not sure what my next step will be, most likely the recycling of plastic.

Dyson 's got a great advertising campaign. I bought the Dyson DC14 Animal. It does have great suction clogged and only eleven in the 5 years I owned it ... but it doesn 't work on Hardwood or tile floors (even with the special attachment) and I was disappointed to find that the animal hair attachment is really not self powered and didn ' t work very well. The Beat bar had to be cleaned every time I used it and while it seems to pick up dust from the carpet, it would not pick up anything else so I 'd end up having to pick up bits of dirt, etc.. that it would leave behind. I finally got rid of it when it started making a deafening noise that COULDN 't be fixed. RIT was so expensive! I honestly tried to work with it but it never really was a good vacuum. I WOULD NEVER BUY ANOTHER.

Vacuum I own this and have never looked back. With the many dogs at one time is five, with my other Vacuum at Hoover and a Eureka Vacuum bags filled up quickly, and so did the internal hoses leading to the Vacuum head, then Clog! (Ugh!) Or the rubber belt broke. Ahhh the smell of burning rubber. So we tried vacuum after vacuum. Another irritating (though I can 't say it was the Manufacturer ' s fault,) my dogs would often pick up the small accessories and take them about the house, Crimping and deforming them with their teeth. Dyson said that the accessories are not the strong points of this machine, which does its job best when actually using the main vacuum. I would recommend a small hand vacuum for cleaning Crevice instead of this one, but that 's not why I bought this one. R RI have owned this vacuum for about 5 years. It was SCRIMP and save for the first one, and we were hoping that this might have more Vacuum six months or less than the life of the others, and really wouldn 't clog. Promises Promises, I thought. R rBut not! This vacuum really is everything the manufacturer says it is. I have had one clog in five years, and cleaned it out myself, with help from a most helpful support coach at Dyson, Assuring me that I could do it. It is not readily Serviced locally, but the Dyson factory reps * will solve most problems and are very friendly and helpful. I have not even had to replace the belt once. R rdua I mention that the attachments are still attached, largely, to the vacuum and not the dogs! Most importantly, I still have a functional working vacuum, that occasionally my friends want to borrow theirs when Conkas out or are clogged. This one keeps going, and going and going, and enable the house to look NEAT no matter what the dogs have up their Paws. I heartily recommend this product to dog lovers. It really does work, and works well. Its also extraordinarily well thought-out, engineering address, right down to the cord that doesn 't get suck up when I accidentally go over it.

I have the Dyson DC14, which I bought maybe 5 years in August, I have this MACHINE BEAT UP! Several large, I have a few dogs and cats. This machine never missed the goods when it Comes to Cleaning Deliver. I have the hose clogged with dog hair and it keeps on working. Very easy to disassemble and clean. User friendly. I'm shopping for a new hose and some attachments and that is only because I have worn in October The engine machine and keep working. I love this vacuum. Hey, Mr. Dyson, keep trucking.

Great vacuum, but if something goes wrong be prepared to pay for repair. Re R living in a rural area and the repair shop wardrobe is 100 miles from anyone there. I had an off / on switch out and Dyson did not sell me a new option. They said it was a matter of accountability. Re R explained what extent was that of a repair shop, but didn t care '. If I had a repair shop and had to leave it, I would spend a total trip of 400 miles just to have a switch replaced. Re R found a place outside the State That Had the switch and was sold aa me. Took me about 5 minutes to replace it. R Wants rDyson to pay for a repair shop when something s 'can do alone.

Overall this is a great vacuum. The hand attachment Wand is very long and kind of cumbersom to use on furniture. Once Prongs of the plastic broke off on the place for one of the attachments to be stored on the unit (the first day I got it). The suction is great though and overall I am very pleased. I would recommend a re furbed Dyson to anyone and already have customers.

I 'voice only owned this vacuum for $ 500 2 years now and it has the clutch. I spoke with a specialist in repairing vacuum ET informed me that oh, yes, this is a common problem with this vacuum. He added fuel to the fire "when he said that cost around $ 200 to fix it. If this is a common problem, then Dyson must" provide extended warranty for this problem should stop selling gold that had very flawed products. For my part, never will own another product Dyson in my life and I 'll have this business to post comments that can warn other potential buyers. Dyson, I am very happy with their products!

This is great, yet very well after years of heavy use and many friends have bought them when they saw how the Dyson performs under duress to my house. I use mine almost every day and is still going strong. I love it. I Have ten dogs, and sometimes when friends go on vacation and vacuuming dog beds, and home and is the only vacuum cleaner (and I had the "best ") that Get involved this is an absolute necessity for me

I've had a few vacuum cleaners over the years and when my machine broke past, decided to buy a Dyson. I read the comments and was impressed by its visual appearance and suction. Dyson noticed the difference - good and bad - immediately. R RIT has amazing suction, surpassing any other vacuum cleaner I 've ever used, but that's it. R rBelow is a laundry list of design fault: r1. The vacuum is complicated - I am a very strong person, but this machine is very heavy. That combined with a strange handle, makes it almost impossible manuvour in corners and around furniture without losing points, beating his legs in the walls / furniture, or maneuvers to try it in English two or three different (think of pulling a big car parking narrow.)'m constantly cleaning scuff marks off-Baseboard and Stair Risers. R r2. beater bar is very high / vertical axis is very thick - will not fit on anything, including my coffee table that is 22 "off the ground! r r3. annexes are difficult - My Dyson came with three attachments are housed on the vacuum (and fit in the vacuum's wand) and three additional annexes that do not attach to the vacuum and vacuum NOT FIT IN 's Wand! Unfortunately for me, two of the six attachments that I need the most are the most difficult / impossible to use. attachment furniture downtown the '' (see item 2 above) must be carried around, along with heavy vacuum (see item 1 above) and it usually gets as good as with some in Scurry vertical position. When in use, it has a habit of dropping Wand (usually when cleaning under the bed or couch), forcing me to stop the machine, or move the furniture and crawl to retrieve it. The second appendix I would like is to use a little beat bar. After having to make another trip to retrieve this connection (vacuum can not carry, plus two other buildings at the same time), and inevitably mis-Place it, the attachment should be forced to Mangueira - almost like it was made to a different machine? By using it, I hold the accessory and the tube with both hands to keep him from falling. Use it on the wand is not an option as the force Rotating heads will remove it immediately Wand. I'm not sure that the third non-attached problem '' is used, or same effect as 's. r r4. chinks in the bar beat-based. The unit has beaten this strange bar cracks just above the wheel where the handle joined Assigns. When in use, should I be careful around the power cord that this difference is slightly larger than the circumference of the rope, causing the cable to slide it and get pulled from the socket. r r5. Cord - power cable is not retractable. Normally, I would not be so picky about this, but the manager is badly designed cable fragile. The cable is usually discovered when heavy Hauling this beast up and down stairs. R r7. Hose - Hose, while a good time, and is retractable to pull the machine shop, as extend it over a distance of 5 metros.Resultando more scratches on the walls and furniture. R r8. Canister is difficult to clean. One problem with all bagless vacuum is that one must be careful to empty the dirt Canister sound / dust does not fly into the room. Avoid this vacuum that makes it almost impossible, unless you empty it out (which is what I do). To thoroughly clean the canister, canister not only need to be removed, but the need for inside information to get out too. Dirt and hair tend to get stuck in small holes in the filter and should be brushed out. R R9. transition between the beat and bar attachments is slow - you must remove the wand, find the attachment, anchor of the machine in a wall or corner furniture padded so it doesn t roll 'and break something valuable. Quick cleanup spot (for the broken glass, Budget and coffee grounds, etc.). Not so fast. Before going through the whole litany above is necessary to unravel the entire cord (cord and roam a manager are the same.) When finished, the whole contraption Wand needs to be put back together (usually take two to three options such as the Wand rarely want to slip easily into the hose the first time), and the entire cable must be re-wound ... ..

I started to love my Dyson Animal. It's a big gap with many impressive features, attachments and suction power and fabulous. I covered two Keeshonds and flying (flying dogs are long hair), so I thought ah 'At last a good gap for me' not? Well, yes and no! After the owner of vacuum only five months, he started making this strange noise Pls bar brush action. I would have t 'of any competition or aspiration, so clean everything, including the seizure of the pin zone What seemed to accumulate the bar brush dog hair wrapped around her. I went back to vacuuming, but that does not seem to help the sound. After calling Dyson, want the exact same happened to cleaning the bar area of brush and needle, and she heard again ... no change. I have a year 5. warranty, so I was told to empty the store. More than two weeks Later, after Dyson MOTOR finally sent them to the brush bar (which apparently is not), I went to pick up empty. They told me that the Dyson does not fit enough brush area bar motor, and a lot of stuff gets entangled around plugs and ruin the engine. They had another Dyson, like mine, the same thing! Now I clean the bottom of the bar and brush pine or regular engine so it will happen again! It disappoints me that there are 'Standard and Poor stupid error in the gap $ 500 + that I bought and I know that this problem be happening again! Thank God 5YR by warranty! Dyson But we must fix this!

Nearly $ 500 I paid for the "anamal " style vacuum about five years in August The vacuum has Tremendous suction and still does. However, the vacuum is falling apart Because of the plastic material used in ITS construction. The vacuum is on last leg ITS Because a handle used to lift the vacuum is cracking and will soon break Completely. The price for a replacement part is $ 75 plus tax and shipping. That is about 20% of the cost of the original vacuum. Meanwhile my thirty year old budget-grade Hoover sits in the corner still operating and still intact. R ref you can AFFORD the price of a new plastic Dyson Every Few Years, you will benefit from ITS superior suction and cleaning ability.

I Have a small but hairy dog who I painstakingly keep clean. When I redecorated a bedroom carpeting dark showed the hair and my Eureka was not doing the trick. I invested in this vacuum and Have been amazed by the results. Even my old light carpeting is completely transformed. For the first time I feel like the house is really clean. Trust me, Have you no idea what color carpeting Super really is if you are using any Other vacuum cleaner.

I bought this for my mother, two dogs, and WHO-Dyson, the reduction of problems with them. I was skeptical at first very Pls I bought my Dyson, but after it the first time and have it for about five years ago, I would highly recommend it to every pet owner. We thought it was chic Pls designed with strategic access Help Points that Can you unclog blocked if they want more What is next to never. Never problems with lost suction head or brush the hair was on every floor. I would say this is a must for every farmer has Vaccuum that 's trying to get all of the hair of pets on their carpets burned.

I've used a few times now since buying vacuum. It beats the Kirby for every job in the carpet. This is really good at taking the dog hair from carpet and furniture.

I would recommend That you make sure That You Have a repair person nearby Dyson Before you make this purchase. In the two years That We Have owned a Dyson, why Have Spent close to the equivalent of the purchase price in repairs. This vac picks up the dog hair as it Promises, But don 't go near a rug with fringe. When the fringe is pulled in by the roller, the belt will snap Before You Even Have Time to shut off the engine. And the limited two year warranty is Exactly that ... limited. We Traded in for a Sebo ours.

I bought the Dyson because I was persuaded by the ads that I pay three times the cost of vacuum awesome than usual to get an extra cleaning capabilities. I cheated. RI bought it at Costco and like the Fool after I unpack the boxes and the wrappings so much chaos I drive them away the next day before I had the chance to use it and return it. RThe not produce extraordinary vacuum suction, but the problem is that the carpet brush has no adjustments for high or low carpet, only the voters is to " carpet" or "floor". In the brush settings only carpeting extends out from the vacuum in very small so not a lot of Jungle carpet. As a result left a lot of Dirt. I found this using my trusty Hoover area after I vacuumed with the Dyson and Hoover saw taking large amounts of Dirt in areas cleared by humans Dyson. R rSecond, a detachment of the attachment hose for Dyson worthless. Although built into the grip, the detachment of the hose is very stiff and short. As a consequence is not easy to use and tend to cause the vacuum to tip over when you pull it. R ri feel very disappointed with this product. I am glad I kept my trusty whirlwind Hoover R. RNow that I look back on all Dyson said in their ads is that it is not when you vacuum suction Ana correct. Well I never loose suction at Blast Machine because I empty it because I got a little inch Dirt in it, thus avoiding the problem. R RDO do yourself a favor and get a bagless vacuum regularly and use [...] you save for something else.

My Husband bought this Eureka bagless vac last Christmas. The machine cost $ 129.99. Unfortunately I have a problem with it from the very beginning. It wasn 't the easiest thing to assemble & operate, rather annoying to know IS the belt roller bar broken meat from the factory. Continuously obstructed the machine got to dust and animal hair. Within the restored machine shop in a week. I had friends had highly recommended the purchase of a Dyson DC14. My husband grumbled about the cost of a Dyson. Because he changed his mind. Even the box that comes with Dyson's easy to open & IS Easily recycled packaging. Since we have three cats & one border collie dogs, we have lots of animal hair to contend with. It is wonderful how this machine picks up the dust and animal hair. Whatever I have no problem with clogging. Attachments are stored in the machine & is easy to use. The dust bin is emptied & Easy separately. Using attachments I've made a clean place Where My dog rides in my extended cab truck. Even smells better on my truck with all the hair that was lost. I would encourage anyone to buy a Dyson, especially if you have pets. Dyson DC14 Animal Cyclone Upright Vacuum Cleaner

I have had an Oreck upright for years and this beats it hands down! That I have a cat sheds everywhere and this machine works amazingly well. The instructions for the Assembly are easy to follow and it takes no time at all to get the vacuum running. The attachments work great and the overall power of the machine makes it worth the money. It is an upright and a canister all in one. I like that it has a lifetime HEPA filter, it is lightweight, easy to clean and no messy bags to fumble with. I highly recommend if you are a pet owner.
