If you only have one .. buy an extra .. filter must be completely dry or the smell will lead you out of the house. New filter - no odor. Now I have a dry and ready when I wash the dirt.

I 've had the original for almost four years, for Dyson first came out with "The Animal. " This filter just fine. So, why not 5 stars? Since I bought the wrong one, or the wrong one was sent. Three inch graphics don 't recognize the different models of Dyson really good. Make sure you 're got the right one before you open the package ... or before you order for this item.
