The new Eureka Optima offers the power of an upright at 1 / 2 the weight! There is also the only soft-grip loop handle that adjusts to more than 8 positions so any user can find its optimal height user. It also ensures most comfortable grip at any cleaning angle. Optima uses a 12-amp motor for deep cleaning of carpets, like a full size upright, but weighs only 11 pounds. It also has an on / off brushroll for cleaning bare floors and on-board instruments and a no-tip design for above the floor cleaning. The easy-empty dust cup has the same capacity dust AA upright full size and was designed so as not to touch the filter when emptying the cup

Its amazing to me that clearly, based on the rating of this product, that most people do not think the big flaw in this vacuum cleaner. R biggest rThe which you need to clean the filter after each use. The filters within the canister and get clogged with dust every single use. At the top of this, everything will get caught at the top of the canister, plastic around the different parts of the filter. Very little actually makes its way to the Last of the canister. R rThe second flaw is what is wrong with my vacuum in less than a year. The clip clip that filter is pretty cheap. When you clean the filter, your instinct is to plug the filter against the palm of your hand to shake the dust out of the filter. Do not do it. Not even lightly, because it weakened the plastic and it soon break and render useless your vacuum. I promise. R ri two area rug in my apartment, both about 10 feet by 10 feet, and it took me less than a year to damage the vacuum. I wouldn 't use this thing for anything larger than what I used it for two ... IS Rugs.

If you're on a budget and need something to suck the material from the floor this is a great vacuum. I 've had two over the last 5 years or more. I'm an apartment dweller and I don 't have tons of money. This worked better than vacuums I 've had that were more than $ 100 I love this thing. The filter needs frequent cleaning, but it 's manageable. It 's small, you can save it in a closet or leave it in a hallway with people who have to travel on it. It 's quite possibly the best vacuum for one person apartment.

I've waited almost two years to conduct this review and I must say that this vacuum has survived very well. I live in the 2.200 sq ft house with lots of Pergo and some carpet. I have a cleaning woman who uses a vacuum most of the time. He loves so much (so did we) that she bought one for herself and her daughter. R rthe unit comes with an additional filter. I tend to clean my filter with a pen cap or some kind of object (wear a mask if you can) to get the dust out from between the folds. I 've change the filter once in two years and has recently bought a replacement at Amazon. I just want to have extra on hand. R rthe suction vacuum is beautiful. I'm using Oreck before this and while this is not built like that Oreck has the power to compete with suction (in my experience). Oreck I gave to my mother and thought that if ever it needed to be replaced, it was cheap enough to do it. Two years later and the vacuum will be strong and have kept 's integrity. Wheels have fallen and the already obsolete. I personally and VERY happy about it! R RWE have 5 cats in our house so that the unit is getting a lot of use and do a great job or get the cat hair out of carpet. The reason I gave the unit 4 stars is because the air is blown into the front. I don 't know if Eureka would ever consider making the add-on armor to allow any dust or debris to bounce off rather than blowing into the future - but I think it may improve. R rI love this vacuum and although they will buy one again in a few minutes if I damaged.

laptop? yes. light? yes. great suction power, especially on carpets. sucks the dirt under the carpet, great on floors, doesn 't take storage space. I would highly recommend to anyone looking for inexpensive but efficient VAC. its shortcomings are just blowing the dust in front of the VAC at certain angles, while cleaning and you have to clean the filter after each use.

I bought this vertical b / c I was tired of lugging around a bulky and heavy vacuum. I was extremely disappointed by it. It is cheaply made and the hose falls off while still on the vacuum, and the adjustable handle is always up and down B / C, it won 't still attached (it was just a cheap fixing plastic), which makes for an extremely boring, not to mention experience, laborious vacuum. This thing is not as light as it is advertised to be either. The suction is good, however, and cleanup is easy with no bags to empty or replace. Overall, I think this book fails to deliver on its promises.

I bought this vacuum in 2005 and worked fine until a few months (I 'm writing this in 2010). The suction was incredible, I always felt like my floors were getting very clean, without a ton of work. It 's lightweight and the handle is comfortable and easy to adjust. I 've lived in apartments with hardwood floors and apartments with carpet (different heights) and did well in all. I realized the failure of others have said, where the air is blowing just in the right place to blow up things in front of himself, but the suction is strong enough that I never knew who made it all more difficult to empty things r rThis as the first property bagless vacuum cleaner, so I can 't compare the process of removing / cleaning / washing the filter to others. It seemed a little messy, but not too big of a deal. R rA few months ago, the first of the wheels suddenly fell off and no matter what I could only 't get it to stay. Then I began to notice that it was 't pick up things as well as before, but attributed it to a filter should be washed and brushroll I had hair, etc wrapped around it. Then, just when it stopped collecting things at all, so completely off the handle while I was vacuuming. So I guess it 's time for a new vacuum - but this one did well, considering the money spent. R GH was considered just buy another of these because I liked it. It 'sa great vacuum. But I 'm hoping to find something that will last longer, which may be unrealistic in these days (my sister thinks I ' m mad and 5 years for the gap is large). My mother had the same empty for 30 years, and I 'd like to think I could last one I went to find 10

This small lightweight Eureka Optima vacuum is the best bit I've had. It's easy for me to collect, manage and maneuver around. With one hand you can vacuum around the corners with a round of fresh mango that is easy to grasp. I take the vacuum of my work and use it instead of all the aspirations of others in the houses clean. R rThis is the third I've owned. I have one at home, one in the garage, and I believe and jobs. I replaced one of them retail accessories last minute, but you should know that it was at least 6 years old! At only $ 69 I got my money safe 's worth it! The engine was still powerful, but it was so cheap that it was not worth the money to buy the parts and the parts are available. So for another $ 69 I have received, free shipping, a new brand. R rThis is the best vacuum I have had and is the easiest to use that at my age, over 50, have to consider when buying a vacuum cleaner. I used to buy large expensive vacuum cleaners, $ 600 +, but not necessary when you have the opportunity to get this. R rit comes in fun colors too! This is a topic of conversation, well, most people look at it and say, what's that? I laugh and try to say that you'll love. R rAnother feature is worth its weight the container with no bag, only removed when you are finished, empty and then shake the filter and, if necessary, can wash the whole thing and let air dry for the next day. I keep extra filters on hand, last a long time. R rthe Optima vacuum vacuum cleaner is my choice and I have had many in my life. He does well on my tile floors and carpet. R rtheresa

OK, I noticed that while most of the reviews here give a good score, I am certain that they are almost done shortly after the purchase of the product itself. Could I Be Wrong, But That 's just what I ' ve noticed, and I myself guilty of doing the Same thing, reviewing shortly after purchase. Nothing Wrong With It, But check this is slightly different. I 've owned my Eureka Optima is over 5 and a half years, I bought it at Best Buy back in 2004 for about 70 bucks after getting sick and tired of having to appear My grandparents stealthily upstairs vacuum 'at night to clean my room. And yes Rejected able to find filters for animals with no problems, so pretty much any and all complaints about it declined direction for me. ** LOL ** actually, I have zero complaints about the animal. It 's light, easy to use, and I ' ve beaten the living daylights out of this sucker, Taken it to hell and back, and it 's still going very, very strong. And yes, it 's picked up TONS more than dust here. Also, not the wheel thro 'fell off mine, But Have my stepmom ' s version. RBut R anyway, assembly was a breeze, I remember it taking several minutes just to get it from the box to the finished product, and then when I took it for a test run, I remember being quite pleasantly surprised. things have picked up everything in it s 'path, and the hose, while Can it get clogged have things like a pen or get in the way, it ' s easy to remove, and get the debris out of the system. The Same goes under the plastic plate One Can delete after a while, I notice that s canister vacuum 'Was not filling up with dust and other debris Should It ' ve been. Needless to say, I took the plastic off the bottom plating, and noticed the bottle cap Was clogging the lane. Removed it, everything was golden again. Was it about 5 months after owning it. Needless to say, while the vacuum t hasn 'Been entirely hassle free, almost all the problems I had ever been fixed In a few minutes then figure out how things worked. R Ri 've owned this thing over 5 and a half years now, and many problems, and many, many vacuumings later, the thing is still the ever powerful, and most importantly You can still pick up dust and debris the champ. Maybe I was going to end up buying another pet-friendly one, and put it below badboy when I know it 'LL see some serious use. But Either way, I 'd recommend this vacuum to anyone looking for a cheap, but also quality vacuum. The One Who 's owned one for Value of Time with me, I think it ' s safe to say that this Is my vacuum seal of recommendation.

Nice product, I was looking for a vacuum cleaner that was powerful and not too expensive. This does the job. RFurthermore, design, although a bit of plastic (cheaper) product is very nice and completely corresponds to the price, which is low for a trip. And if the company decided to lower the price by using cheaper materials (not plastic, wire), I think is the best option and the vacuum on the engine seems solid and essential parts. He won t break 'apart in your hands. Although cheap looking, its design sa 'nice and feel firm and solid in the hand and in use. I think it will be fair. Lifetime r rthe biggest flaw for me is that the air is expelled from the gap in the forehead, just above where it is assumed that the vacuum. Sun not most cases it is a problem because the vacuum is a bit can upside down so that no air is pushed into the ground. But if you put a vacuum up, hits the dirt part of the vacuum. But to be clear, it is a real problem for me. It rarely blew dirt. R rSUMMARY: I purchased this product after reading a comment that said it was a product fair and pleasant with good suction power for a low price. I was not disappointed at all and the vacuum corresponded to what I had in mind

This is the worst vacuum I have ever owned. It has great suction ON BOTH hard floor and carpet. Purpose .... the wheels fall it after a while. The tube is not sufficient and long horns undone while vacuuming, throwing out and hit you and your furniture. The filter gets dirty entirely too fast. This is the second Eureka vacuum cleaner I've owned it and I will be the last ever own. Buy a Shark, trust me!

I love this vacuum! I was looking for something small and cheap. I do not belong to Eureka before sound had no idea of how their products perform. For $ 50 it is very much worth the price. I love it and vacuuming the carpet looks like new. Very good suction and easy to clean.

I thought it was an excellent lightweight upright for my office. It 's nowhere have we cat ' s litter box and the puppy will get all the clutter in low, industrial-type carpet. It totally sucks (haha) in picking up the kitty litter. Mostly it just scatters it around. The hose attachment is even worse, 'there is hardly any suction at all and I hold hose directly to the size of the litter to pick it up (can ' t hold this angle, the thereby cutting the amount of skin you have to cover). R Ri don 't use it on other carpeted rooms and I rarely even use it for its intended purpose. I usually drag the big guns if I want it to look really nice.

In a world where vacuum cleaners can cost half of tail, a vacuum is excellent and a great price. It is lightweight and can easily be carried up and down the stairs. Without losing suction, and it does very well with pet hair on the carpet. It has a removable filter that can be removed and washed in the sink as necessary to keep it clean and nice. The bottle has a lot and have never had a problem with obstruction of the detachment of the hose or any other matter of the belt. It has a switch that lets you turn off the rotating brush when vacuuming hard floors or when using the detachment of the hose connection - this is a good feature. I would have given 5 stars, but the wheel just broke. This is after 4 years, however, so for the price definitely say that I have my money 's worth out of this vacuum and it saddens me to see it go.

There is a vacuum of Nice and is perfect for a mixture of hardwood, tile and carpet in a smaller house. The power is great, the on / off brush roll will save your wood floors of some abuse, and it 's much more compact than most. However, the exhaust is at the front of the unit and blows away light debris from the path of cleaning the suction is so powerful that it overcomes usual, but it 's certainly worth noting. Other minor issues are that the dog's hair seems to gather at the summit of the trash close, but it did not affect performance, and the wheels are a little cheap. On the positive O loop is nice is that it 's to adjust the height (a 7 year old could use it). If Eureka does a slight redesign simply angling the exhaust flaps up or put it on the side of this product would rock. The description contained a power retractable cord, it does not. For

It is a great vacuum and light that does the work of a heavy, more empty. Nearly new carpet looks after vacuuming.

Large and small items. I ordered this for my son who has an apartment. It Was a big suction, small enough to store in a closet and has a tool on the board. He's happy .. Surely if a man Could love a vacuum cleaner but I know he used it faithfully and I have seen 'improvement in their domains.

When I Bought this vacuum I was very happy with the performance. Suction is strong, attachments Adequate, brush is Powerful. It 's moderately easy to clean the dust cup area. The Biggest problem with this unit I Have Is That the wheel assemblies are poorly designed. I use this unit on carpet and hard wood floors. I treat it Gently, But Uncle Tom this, the plastic wheel assemblies wear out and eat the darn wheels off. Can you try to snap them in position (Which is very easy), But They 'll just keep getting looser and looser as time goes on, and now, the darn Things don ' t pop back on. R rWhen it Was under warranty, Eureka sent me a whole new nose assembly. It was very easy to pop off the old one, pop on the new one, and bam, like It Was Having a brand new vacuum. Well, I 'm in the same situation again. Both The wheels pop off. When I Called to tell them That I 'd like a new nose assembly, or Some type of Remedy, They Said It Was out of warranty. R RSO I Spent over $ 70 on this unit and HAD to deal with Problems Which Were Temporarily resolved. They are now for $ 42 + Asking for That nose assembly. Needless to say, this is the last Eureka I 'll be purchasing. R RTOs Provide more Objectivity: Suction is great. I like the Fact That When the brush motor is running and the brushes That encounter an object obstructs the brush motion, stop turning the brush to Prevent the motor from burning out, and an indicator light illuminates. You remove the obstruction, and reset the power. It 's Fairly lightweight and easy to maneuver. R rCons: Wheels break easily. The exhaust from the vacuum shoots right out of the front of the unit Causing dust bunnies / hair to be blasted from the floor directly Into the air.

Overall I 'm very impress with this little vacuum. I was so skeptical that a $ 50 vacuum could compete with my $ 400 Dyson. Well let me say, my Dyson Upstairs sits in the closet. It 's Suction is unbelievable. My only Frustration is that both rear wheels have broken off within four months. I 'm constantly having to stop and reattach them. I 'm going to contact customer service to see if they will send replacement parts I can ' t find the part online to purchase. The second issue is that the tip of the Suction Hose won 't stay locked in its holder access to its constantly swinging off. Between having to stop and reattach the wheels or stop and reattach Suction Hose 'm not getting a lot of vacuuming done which is unfortunate because it ' s such a great little contraption. I also have three dogs and a cat and it does a great job of picking up dog hair, but the filter gets clogged quickly and you can actually feel the suction Declining. I solved the problem by buying a backup filter and I always have a clean and ready to go. And actually most of the pet hair brush into the trash and then lightly rinse the filter and air dry. I 'voice also been quite lazy and just thrown the filter in the dishwasher after removing the pet hair and it did great. The last complaint is the power cord is too short. I can 't cover the entire living room without having to switch outlets. If customer service is willing to help me with the wheel issues then I 'd give it a 5 star but if I ' m gonna have to buy another vacuum within 4 days it 's not going to be another best.

I was pleasantly surprised with this well done tiny gap. Suction power is equal or exceeds previous vertically. This eliminates the need to vacuum several elements like a vacuum cleaner and hand upright. RThanks this small wonder my carbon footprint is smaller ..

The first who bought this product, I was impressed with his power and how light it was, but after owning for a while, I 'm absolutely disgusted with it and buy something else in mind (anyone who has any suggestions, please share) r The only problem that makes this product almost worthless is the fact that, after vacuuming is about 3-4 minutes because the engine automatically shuts down to cool. How long does it take to cool? At least half an hour! So if I clean my flat completely encatifat second, which consists of only four small rooms, and if it take more than three hours. If it takes 10 minutes, but I expect that things will always fricking cool. I Don 't buy this product. It 's just horrible.

If you want a Rolls Don 't buy a YUGOS. Although healthy 'little unfair. This gap is highlighted by money order there are things you should know. Please forgive me if I repeat what others said. R Rel good price, weight, suction mount without tools, realtively quiet and simplicity of its features. R REL wrong: I had a funny smell, not something intended entry dangerous cigarettes. It DID go away with time. So if you are sensitive to the strong odor, you need to be aware. Filter and empty the dust container are difficult to clean and empty. The cable is short, but not for me a year later. RThat r Said I like this machine a lot. It was replaced more upright ones. My carpets aren t high and some plants I '. R rBottom line: Well worth the money. I bought mine in Bed Bath and Beyond and save $ 12 with 20% of coupons by mail THEM.

This little guy is lightweight and has a good bit of power for its size, but if you don 't consider it, think about how many belts you on your roll changed over the years and then think about twelve screws to change it. Emptying it is a disorder Karpasha, and various accessories tend to fall there. I have a Eureka Mighty Mite I lasted 15 years or more, but this device seems designed to make a good first impression and answer a low price, but t n 'appear built to last. I advise spending a little more and do something more solid and easy to use and maintain.

Not as strong as others that I wanted. End pickup items without clogging siaed nickel. The HEPA filter is a plus.
