This is the worst vacuum I Have Ever Purchased far. I do know it's frustrating !!!!! All I Have to Complete cleaning before use or they will not suck anything. After all the beating and empty the filter out I could still feel them spitting crumbs and what did not rise up again When I was vacuuming m '. Attachments are constantly falling and the hose disconnected and put the goods of semi-sucked right back on the floor for you. Also features the exceptional design allows you That's only about a foot and a half loose to use the hose attachment, Good Luck if You Have the stairs. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON this garbage. I will not buy another Eureka during my life.

My wife and I bought this vacuum about a year ago, the former Because We Had (which lasted over five years), finally died. Well, the first month or so, it works fine. I won t 'Say that work well, because there was not as good as our last vacuum. Then, suddenly, it was horrible. It would clog in three different locations, the belt would slip steadily, he would hardly pick something up everything, and as you heard from others, indeed, shooting things / played back out, making our carpet Worse before! ? R rall I can say is DO NOT BUY EUREKA! Ever! Read reviews of two other models and Observer the same answer. The company will not do anything to correct this situation. Apparently, this model (and the other with the negative criticism) has never been tested. They were simply put on the market to use the brand to make money. R rI hope they go out of business for the terrible product (s) and customer service nonexistent.

I have got to remember to consult online reviews Things Before buying and so it was really my own fault that I bought a Eureka Altima. I was amazed about that I'm free in agreement with many reviews on the Other That It worked incredibly beautiful first two times I used it and quickly after it became almost useless. Even now it wont turn on then owned it for four months. The Fact That It Was not any longer picking up dirt That makes me feel no longer Is Not Being Any major loss operation. In Addition, I care Follow the instructions to the letter - washing and cleaning of filters, etc., Which Was a little annoying in its own right. So, two things I hope you know by reading this review are that (1) Always read the reviews before buying any appliance, and (2) don 't ever consider buying A Eureka Altima vacuum cleaner.

Everyone is correct. This vacuum constantly clogs. He tried to remove the yellow filter and still doesn t 'with "any vacuum aspiration. Any yes, it actually produces worse is that dirt and debris back to you. Try it" shoes or socks and see. Theys have made a mint off contention worthless products. Never again buy Eureka! You should only give one star because it won 'let me "give you any!

Seriously, read all the reviews. This vacuum has a high rate of serious failure for the same exact problem. Mine lasted eight minutes, eight minutes before yes on the left side bearing went bad, well heated, melted the plastic around it, the holder, the brush has stopped rotating beater and belt stopped and began to stink. It worked .... absolutely flawless for seven minutes and 59 seconds.

I am finally giving in and buying a new one and will be happy to trash this one! From the beginning it would clog up on a regular basis and I would have to Disassemble the whole thing to find the clog. I CAN NOT get to pick it up at all on low carpets, it just Spits out the dirt. It will not pick up anything using just the Hose. THe Upright latch that holds it doesn 't work, the pet hair attachment never really worked. It isn 't the color of a lemon for nothing!

Well, I had it for about six months now. If you read no further than that, it really is a terrible device. From the day he came to the door he was completely unable to everything he is supposed to do. Firstly, I have a 1000 m² apartment with a kitchen and bathroom tiles, then, no carpet much to handle. I have two cats that shed, but not more than other animals I had. Thus, from the beginning this thing was terrible, it blocks at least once during a cleaning, even when not plugged the vacuum does not exceed a light breeze. t 's aspiration to power "even enough to keep the hand tool when it turns ISN ' t touch anything. It will not pick up cat litter or sand and is just tends to throw across the room or pick it up than to put in a neat pile when you turn off the empty I have to empty half the price that has a lot better. Eureka I sent an email and they told me to clean the filters, because it was not 't sufficient airflow. I replaced the filters and even taken this thing to the shop to be told there is nothing wrong with that. Long story short, I hate this thing. If you're in the market for a device to clean your carpets without cleaning it well, it's not for you. Otherwise, save your money and buy almost anything not made by Eureka. I have not met anyone who is happy with all the products they sell.

This vacuum is so heavy and difficult to use. The aspiration seems very good the first time I used it, but since it does t. 'I think the foam filter clogs too quickly, it is said that every week, but probably should be each use, which is a pain. R RThe telescoping sheath cleaning dust and STIs have been why I finally chose this gap, but between the lever for vacuuming and clean, just broken. I ve 'she and I used it as Since March eleven week or two, if you use less than 30 and it breaks? Sucks. R tiger paw RThe clubfoot should be renamed, it is unnecessary and workers. Floors R rum nude shoes you 'd better wear protection when vacuuming, it just start shit It Can ' t pick up (Which is most of the dirt) on your feet. R rNot a good buy.

This vacuum is awful! My house is only 1400 square feet stop vacuuming and about 5-8 times every time I reach for my hand in and pull up pet hair off of it. If I don 't smell as if it ' s going to blow up and he won 'pick up at all. Duster cliped impermanence and attachment of the tube is only a foot or two. And 'much heavier than their activity. Let 's just put it that way, I bought a $ 30 Dirt Devil that works 100% better. Don 't buy it, you'll be sorry: (

I bought this vacuum at the target in April, and for the first few weeks it worked great, except for attachment Which ever worked at all. keep it has gone down to the point that I was ready to just throw it. It doesn 't pick up anything, and I kept it up in exactly the instructions in the manual. The internal filter should be washed every other week, and the HEPA filter must be replaced after six months, but it didn 't even last long. All it is now spit out the dust and make disgusting hairballs. Don t waste 'your money.

I wanted a new vaccuum because my old one Was a heavy hose and short board. Well guess what, now I Another heavy vaccuum in a short hose. read the negative reviews about this product Purchased Before It But I decided to ignore it and buy it because of these features would look wonderful. It is a Powerful vacuum for the money spinning duster But The only "spun " maybe two times so I just kept it the old fashioned way hose. I bought the Eureka Hose That only makes the extension and it was so long There is very little suction so I just deal with the "too-short " hose. I suggest Eureka swab skip their next model and go for longer hose if you want to impress me! I give this product three stars for cleaning Although capacity.

It's official s ', this is no longer picking up anything. This sort of pushing the debris, hair, and dust into the outer edge of the carpet (especially since the brush is pulled on the surface, do not suck), then suck doesn 't it up I hope we have been doing research on this before purchasing it because I feel that having a product like this will make people think less of us. I am a man 'ma bad for having used this R. Rone my favorite feature (besides the fact that he has zero suction) is the part that fell awkwardly attachment every time you move the vacuum "position. I m 'glad that rthe bottom-of-their-class/barely passed Eureka Company provides product designers in full control of their company to design World' s most inefficient, annoying, vacuum lasted the shortest of all time R. Only saving grace is that, on the night to buy a new vacuum, I now know I am not alone in this cursed my plastic dirt. It 's how many people believed to have witnessed atrocities first hand. R rand, citing many other people about this product, Amazon needs a "zero " stars such as options for this lemon.

We 've had this vacuum for some Time, and Let me tell you - it totally sucks. For every 1 hour vacuuming, We Have to Spend 4 hours troubleshooting this, trying to figure out why it 's not working. We 're pretty easy to use technical people, we aim not know how to keep things fun. It 's most critical and just stops working frequently. R rto top off, the accessories Have a habit of jettisoning off while vacuuming, so we Spend quite a bit of time receiving bar, put it back, Plugging Dust wand back, etc.. It 's Trying to use it tedious. R RWE Eureka contact Customer Service via their Web Site and Have more to Hear a response. We 're very disappointed and would "give it no stars if it were possible. Needless to say, we won ' t Be buying a Eureka again. They are back and at least Offered inquiry or some help, we Declined Pacific company has to have 'em. R rTerrible product + Bad Customer Service = Eureka Altima!

I bought this vacuum about 6 months. Only works well bagless When the tray is empty. If it is not completely empty leaving debris scattered on the ground especially when you turn it off. I regret buying it, should have spent an extra 100.00 and got a better vacuum. Avoid at all costs.

It always breaks the belts. I just bought 2 tapes yesterday and they are gone already! This was my package of 4 belts. I have this vacuum for about 2 years.

If you like: rreplacing your vacuum belt BROKER Every Time You vacuum, rburnt rubber smell in your house, rclogged filters at least eleven o'clock Each time you vacuum, rattachments That stop working after-the first time you use them, rterrible gold SUCTION NO r rthen you should buy this vacuum. Otherwise, stay far far away from this one! RWE Have Tried to make it work for a year now - faithfully cleaning filters, Replacing Belts, etc. Have to and we just give up. I 'm tired of HAVING sound dirty carpet we ' re buying something else. R rPros: That Cool tools appeal to my husband & Worked only eleven! Rcon: heavy, Beltran Constantly break, clog filters Easily, shoots stuff back on hard floors, etc..

Above all, don 't buy this if you have a cat or a dog. Where can collect fur t 'be removed. I can get on the outside, but this requires effort. I also had the smoke coming out. I Have Dry thoroughly cleaned the dust and filters after each use - and a piece SA 'work itself. The instructions for cleaning the machine (after use) run again and again, and finally, the book suggests another cleaner that is used to clean up this mess. (I 'm Not That making up.) My mother, my sisters and I used Eureka for many years - but this t doesn' deserve its name. Now bear t name doesn 'for long. There are 1 or 2 people that I just really, really, really dislike, and I wouldn t mind 'Give them this vacuum. Otherwise, stay away from it.

I ve 't this vacuum for two years and it was terrible for the past year. It gives no suction and sometimes spits out dust. I cleaned the filters and empty the can, but it does little good.

Can I "give this 0 stars?? When the motor is the first one I started "smoking and smelling Returned it for a New One, Willing To" give the benefit of the Eureka and hoping Doubt That I just got a Defective machine. Howeve, the second one has been "no better. The revolving brush for pet hair has stopped spinning, the opening and going Into the dirt canister IS Constantly getting clogged with hair. The attachments never stay assembled while in use and I can feel the dirt Literally Being kicked out the back onto my feet. Then, as soon as The Machine is Turned Off, dirt falls back out. I Can not wait to buy a different vacuum. This vacuum Is a Complete waste of time and money.

I 've had this vacuum for about 2.5 years and can ' t believe I have not been tossed in the trash (by Limited funds prevented). This is my first bagless vacuum and this is my last. It was so dirty and disgusting to have all the dirt and dust to air. R Ri have 2 cats and a dog average shedder. I do not quite a vacuum in a room without vac area above the cup dust getting clogged. Then I reach my hands up to the vacuum to clear the clog, so my hand covering the spread of dust and dust in the air. The process of emptying the dust cup is dirty and get more dust in the air and across the vacuum. Attachments, such as wrapper and foot power, is cheap and trivial. R Ri don 't recommend anyone buy this vacuum.

This is the first vacuum I Have personally owned. I did that many other buyers, and some Commercial, vacuums and this one holds up just fine. I had to give it 4 stars because I can only assume that there are some absolutely awesome out there vaccums That Blow this one away ... but lets remember that this unit costs only $ 80. Everyone has the right to the goofy little wand thing feels like it's about to break off. Also I was told that I broke off the little tab that you wrap the cord around, but a little hot glue That solved fairly easily. Have I had this vacuum for about 2 years now. absolutely clueless It has stood up to my roommates the whole time. These are only vaguely aware that the canister needs to be emptied and cleaned the filters, rollerbrush, or intakes. Have I gone through a belt and this time it was full to replace it without consulting the manual. Many of my roommates Both Men and Women There is a long hair Which Sometimes Completely chokes and stops the brush from Which burns the ability to spin the motor to bits. The home and as they Say, "vacuum broke, it started smoking and smelling, " and of course all of this IS required to do cut and pull the hair off the rollerbrush Which for some factor even though my hair was in a crew to Cut I Do. Other things happen is the suction hose will pull out from the side of Vacuum Which it should be for the use of attachments, anyway When the vacuum hose pulls out floor looses suction. I know my roommates often say, "ITS broke it doesn 't pick up anything. " So I walked over and plug the hose back and it starts picking things up again. I know there must be more efficient vacuum cleaners out there but this vacuum works great for the price. If It Is So Easy repeated violations for All the Other People Have I suspect it is because They Are Being as my roommates. Use a little common sense and take care of things and it just fine, I declined very satisfied with my purchase.

I have this vacuum for a gift opening of the house and was great at first. I vacuum and wash the filter every time I use. After using it twice, was never the same. Even after cleaning it, still pushing things won 't collect sand for cats, it really just launches forward and backward. R RIT is COMPLETE garbage!

I 've had this vacuum for four months and my only * 5th belt snapped. I have medium length shag carpet on high about my house, and the first time I used the vacuum, the belt snapped about 30 after the second half, giving off that lovely "brushfire " smell was noted in other reviews. I had the height set at medium level, so I set it all the way to the highest height. Unfortunately when I was put on replacement belt, I discovered that if the belt t isn 'placed exactly right, and rotated it says in the manual, it snaps quickly start the vacuum. R ROK, so the first two broke a belt for my own mistakes. I can accept that. As three belts. Time, after replacing the belt set correctly, I was able to vacuum my house twice before the third belt snapped in height to the highest setting. I have gone through three more belts over the last few weeks. R Ri am now a Certified Expert in Eureka Altima Replacement Belt. I could teach the class. Even when correctly installed / replaced, the belt breaks way too easily. This is not a problem with the belt themselves. It is a problem with the vacuum. If I keep this vacuum (not sure), I will forever change belt every few weeks. I wonder if my whole house is an almost naked-floor long as my carpet below, it will be acceptable vacuum for my family. R Ri paid $ 75 for the vacuum, and since then I 've just spent $ 25 belt. And now I m 'to the point where the HEPA filter will need replacing soon. So in a few short months, I 'LL have almost spent more accessories / repairs than I spent in vacuum. Itself r rthe sad thing when it works, the Altima is a great vacuum. It has good suction and a good job of cleaning, especially for the price. I am happy with the result after I was finally able to completely vacuum in my house. Also, the Tiger Paw accessory is very useful, especially the stairs (although the wrapper is useless and really gets in the way). But the vacuum 'design defect that caused the belt to break is just too much to overcome. I 't recommend this vacuum to anyone.

I bought this vacuum about 3 months ago for what I thought was great - initially $ 130 in sales and coupon for $ 80 The first time I used it, the belt broke. What luck that it came with an extra. Against my better judgment, I didn 't return. I want 'ho. The suction is lousy. It clogs with pet hair. There 's not much more than I hate having to stick my hand into the gap and pull the evil dusty hand. I must admit, I have a rabbit, and I do end up cleaner bit 'of hay, too, which makes it a bit' more complicated, but this I 'did for nine years without clogging problems. Until now. And a rabbit ball? He had to go over it several times before that the vacuum would suck then, unless all you have to vacuum and dust, this is not the vacuum for you. That said, I just dropped down $ 130 for a new empty again. Argh.

I thought this WAS going to be vacuum to answer all my prayers. I HATE Dusting and cleaning, I Would That unit to suck up pet hair, Had a power brush and a duster That was suction cleaned as I Went Along .... Mana from Heaven, right? WRONG! R rFirst, the Obvious, the suction power Went to pot after the first Few uses. Not only did I need to dump the chamber Often, But I Also Had To reach up inside the chamber above the site and clean up debris from there. The filters Were Never The Same After the first cleaning. R rand the attachments, UH! I Think They Were added as an afterthought Aesthetic. The power duster WAS useless and Every Time I attempt to use it, I feel like it is going to break off the side. I can never get the top chamber snapped in tightly. I think the Power brush is great, it 's ' Powered "by the vacuum suction ..... BUT THERE 'S NO SUCTION, I know it barely works. The extension hose is rigid and the extension tubes fit together awkwardly. R rI Against Would highly recommend buying this unit. We are currently researching vacuums to buy a new unit. The Eureka Boss SmartVac 4870MZ Seems to get rave reviews, but i am very hesitant to buy Eureka Another current product after this disappointment.
