My cats regularly vomit on the carpet. Spotlifter This is just what I needed. It is clear all the bits of the mess. R rSheryl Topic
I bought it to deal with spots on carpets caused by 2 Siamese cat with good stomachs. Bissell found it to be well designed, easy to use, and has removed old spot I really didn 't think will come (and that ' s not even the use of special pets fluid removal area, only regular liquid comes with the unit.) Is it beats hand scrubbing with brushes and sponges.
Ideal for people with pets. Yes, you could do the same thing with a lot of paper towels, carpet spray, and a vacuum cleaner, but it is much more convenient to do everything with just one machine. It 's easy to clean and use, and it probably pays for itself with money saved on paper towels. It will only do a small area since the capacity of liquid is very small, but it never claims to be a substitute for a complete machine steam room.
This small device is a great tribute to Bissell 's designer. He did exactly what was designed to do (for example, clean up pet stains carpet) with minimal user effort. I use it almost every day because of my 16-year-old Yorkshire Terrier 's virtual Alzheimer ' s condition through which I can 't remember if it is indoors or outdoors. It's worth every penny of its cost.
I have been using the SpotLifter Bissell, in the last 10 years. It works wonders when our cats decide to use our floor to release their hairballs. The SpotLifter finally bit the dust and I asked the new Bissell 1719 SpotLifter 2X. 2X more powerful. 2X more durable. This machine is amazing and does an excellent job. I am beyond impressed with this little machine and highly recommend it for removing small stains on carpets. I'm glad the old model bit the dust .... this is more effective and 200X better!
The Bissell 1719 works great for small jobs. He does just what it's designed to do. Very impressed with the battery life.
I bought the 2x Spotlifter to supplement my Big Green Complete. The Spotlifter is perfect for my puppy 's little birthday gift. Be sure to rinse all surfaces of each thoruoghly Spotlifter dirty after use.
My 3rd unit, works great; Have two kitties and does the cleanup job Perfectly
This thing isn 't Enough powerful to suck the water up. I used two tanks of water and I had a drizzle of water actually That Came back up. I have too short carpet, Which Can you guys usually pull a ton of water out of. Can you see the water trying to Vacuum up, but it never pulls it hard Enough to make it to the top and stay in the reserve. The only reason I think anyone feels like on their carpet is getting cleaner is Because you spray on their cleaning solution on it and scrub it with a brush. I shouldn 't have paid a $[...] dollars for something Some carpet cleaner, scrub brush, and towels Could Have done just as well!!
We have ten cats and use this machine on a fairly frequent basis to vomit and minor cleanups. We are very pleased with the power and ability to really clean for good work and keeps a good charge. We have a greater purpose cleaning pet but he had a hose and cleaning Even with IT may have a musty odor in Ital. With this machine to clean the entire unit of the dog, and no hose so it stays clean. In recent years we have gone through several of these type Bissell cleaning products and this is by far the best work and stands up to stains better. I would suggest that these cleaners recommended using machinery of any kind for them, because it seems to do the best to get up the stains. The two I use are: Bissell OxyGen2 32 fl oz (946 ml) and 2X Bissell 24 Oz Formula Advanced Pet stain and odor.
This is my 3rd Bissell SpotLifter it and it seems I get about 3 years battery life out of it. For our house, When a dog is an accident that is used for getting and it does a good job. RWE have 2 Chihuahuas, and it can handle any of the 2 lil gals can provide. We even get more cleaning solution with another cup or two of water for a rinse, and it handles it all vac. Durability is good and is easy to clean. I gave only 4 stars because I think the dirty water tank Can off as a bit easier than it is, as the release knob seems a little small and I find it a bit hard to push, however that a minor issue for me.
I love this carpet cleaner! It does a great job and so easy to use!
This thing is nice if you have no space to store a real one. RIT will clean up a spot about 1 foot by 3 feet. RHowever, if you want to do a whole room, buy a big one, its way easier.
I do not don 'know if this issue is particularly sylvia with my steam cleaning in a certain percentage of the product, but I was one of the unlucky ones. It will not hold a charge. After 30 seconds, if connected or not, he dies. A small part of me feels so good every time I receive a defective product from Amazon.
It makes a person wonder, if not the entire solution go? After using all of the solution tank only 1-2 tablespoons of liquid in the chamber dirty dirty ... hmmm .... the rest are staying in the upholstery? I'll keep trying .... I loved the results!
I 've had mine for about two years and while it ' s great for very small areas (approximately 1 to 1-1/2 feet square), c 'is really intended for spots on the size of a pet stain or spilled juice. R RSOM problems I've 'experience over the past two years: r 1) Battery life is marginal. I can get one, maybe two spots cleaned, then the unit must be recharged overnight. So if I have another place in Waits until tomorrow. R2) The suction is decent, but in many cases (at least for me) not quite adequate. I would recommend a good plug-in wet and dry vac to really water the. You 'll find this unit draws only about half the water they draw. Good, but wish it was better. R ron the positive side: r 1) C 'is compact! It can make excursions into the van. And it fits in small spaces. R2) when you have a small spill, it 's very convenient compared to an orchestra Drag devices, cleaning fluids and tools. R rMixed Thoughts: r 1) cleaning solution for this device is good, but I had the same success with ordinary household cleaners (mild dishwashing soap) and some water spills. Sometimes (if your carpet can handle it) Simple Green works reasonably well. The major drawback of the cleaning solution is that it 's outrageous prices for the amount you get. R rOverall, machine and it 's decent, but ' s not very useful for cleaning or cleaning up When you have a steady procession to clean spots.
Nice and do the work for little messes. Just wish it had a little more suction. A good idea is to absorb the extra dirt / water with a towel.
The Spotlifter works OK, But I couldn 't much rate it even higher. It Needs to Have a rotating brush to really get Into the carpet fibers. Without a rotating brush the unit is really not Better Than using a spray cleaner and a hand brush.
I bought this in November 2008 as "Christmas gift of the family " if not used until January 2009 ... I used it for three months and he loved --- it worked wonderfully, but one day he died ... I tried all the troubleshooting tips, but he was dead, dead, dead ... Too late to go back and the store nearest repair was wayyy too far ... Maybe I think I just got a " bad" and am ready to try again ..... UPDATE - I ordered another this November, it 2009 and mid- January and had to return to this dysfunction --- was the solution would not be sitting enquiry.c bowl and spilled water everywhere in October .... I'm ordering my third and last spotlifter Bissell When it works, it works fine ...... but I need more than three months out of it ... last chance, Bissell ......
Nice hand cleaner, I use it spills for PET and stair cleaning Keeps. Well, a good bit short on battery life goal enough for daily use.
I love this thing! I cleaned my whole car with it, it takes care of all my pet stains in a jiffy. The down side is you Have to charge it for 12 hours for 15minutes of use, but for this Tiny power machine it sure does pack a Punch for that 15minutes. My house smells clean, smells clean my car ... life is good:)
It is what it is. Indeed he does odd jobs for little money. Handy to have. Until very busy one spot perfectly. The main problem with him is that he does not have a light load. Before I knew that I bought, and buy it, even with this problem. But if it had a light feeder, I gave it 5 stars, and would be much happier. FYI, I use it with white vinegar and water, not the solution Bissell. Bissell told to go 50/50 and I agree.
This little spotlifter does a great job. spilled pop and muddy foot prints can be cleaned in minutes. I would suggest this product to anyone with children or animals. Have a terrific job of cleaning stains.
I bought this product because I needed a compact device to effectively clean my sofa and other upholstered furniture. I have cats and a roommate and between the four of us, we have a lot of hair, food crumbs, etc. on the couch. This device works very well for deep cleaning pads! Held plenty of cargo to clear the whole thing in one sitting. It surprised me that it was a little heavier than it looks, but not too heavy to use effectively. I didn 't have the problem of spraying had been used to clean the others mentioned, but if you look at the device, it doesn ' t take a lot for that chamber to fill, I know you only need to make sure that Don 't go on the "full" line. Rthe only thing that disappointed me about this device is that I tried to use it to clean up some on set in stains on the carpet, and was not terribly effective. I think it might be better off and no spills or incidents that happen immediately fixed in patches. That 's the only reason I ' m Giving ony 4 stars. But as I said - it worked very well for what I needed to do that!
I 've found this Bissell 1719 2X SpotLifter be for the removal and cleaning of the small harvest and workers fabulous to have my cats on my left beige carpeting. R ri have an older cat with stomach issues '' (hairballs) urine, and occasionally the accident. This will extract the excess liquid SpotLifter very well. For urine and hairballs, I treat the area with a stain and odor plenty of liquid (I prefer Simple Solution) ... Allow it to work, then use it to remove the excess. The same applies to the harvest, that some workers with them in length. It 's also very good for some light extracting dirt from my car ' s Square. R rThe excavation chamber (for the dirty water) act is somewhat limited. However, I have had 've some problems with none of the guests had liquid ' shoot-out '. I 'm also glad that the battery holds a charge very well. R rThis is a beautiful, small town lift. Keep in mind, however, that it is not a substitute for a carpet cleaner.
