I am very impressed by the commitment that allows you to clean upholstry. I used it on my couch and I was very impressed by how clean it got my couch cushions and pillows. He did pretty good with the carpet stains I had some really bad spots (eg, chocolate pudding, cool aid red ice cream) and I had to pre-treat a little but in their is released. He took my children, much less time to do these tasks for me to clean! But overall, I am very impressed by this machine and would definitely buy it again if I had the chance to do it again!

I've had my Bissell ProHeat over 2 years. Although it works as well as it did the day we won and we use it a lot. I can not believe how good it is cleaned. I have 2 small children, a dog and a white carpet in a high traffic area. Over the years I used to clean the rooms across the normal carpet, and "disaster " clean (a cup of hot chocolate spill on a white carpet, red wine, and one that I like to call the "poop slide " When my son had a diaper big game was slipping down the stairs and at the bottom to tell me.) The versatility of the machine is impressive scale cleaning is easy . I even used to clean the carpets of my car. I brought my mother 's house to clean their carpets. Once again, I could not believe the good cleaning. I do my carpets at least once every 3 months, one of the rooms of my mother 's house was never cleaned (more than 12 years of built land). It was a light blue carpet that had gone gray, and when I went, I could see the gray carpet back to its original blue. R rThis machine is extremely easy to use, versatile, and is still working well for years. I've never written a review before but after cleaning a big mess with my Bissell last night, I decided it was time to share my opinion. We will recommend to anyone.

Sometimes enthusiastic reviews of products aren 't always a reflection of how good the product. The Bissell 9400 falls into the category of "Are you talking about the same machine I have? " R rFirst out of this carpet cleaner is very difficult to use. Instead of having two separate water tanks - one for keeping water clean and the other to keep the dirty water, the engineers of this machine has decided to add two water tanks in one. In other words, the dirty water just sits on top and around the bladder, clean water. This not only makes a very unpleasant experience when you have to empty the dirty water, but also brings down the capacity of how much clean water can be used in the unit. R Ras far as cleaning capability, the unit did worse than my old Hoover Steam Vac ... much worse. After a full career in the house, the carpets of the hearing by the same extent that the cleanup. The drying time took much longer than other comparable cleaners steam vac. This is probably due to the reduced vacuum function of this machine ... just doesn 't collect as much water as other carpet cleaning. R GH found the whole experience with this machine a complete waste of time. I 'm in the market to buy a steam cleaner and I ' m leaning towards it. I see almost 200 4 and 5 stars and about 1 and 40 combined 2 stars so that tells me this is a pretty good machine.

I did a search and this cleaner came with rave reviews. When I took it and used it worked great. I had some very dirty lane on my carpet. I was very impressed and I like to use bottled fabulous purple fluid compartment on my last step, which made the carpet smell great for months. I had no problems as it is clean. I'm serious when I say that the carpets looked new and wonderful smell (pulls out the fabulous smell of cigarette smoke). I was so impressed that I recommeneded my father who then took one and had the same fantastic results. Oh, and it worked very well on my machine carpets. Rthe second time I used the plastic on the membrane broke. I returned without any problem. At this point I was still happy. Same thing happened with my dad and his replacement Walmart. I used the new carpet cleaner two or three times without problems. I made sure I cleaned everything before storing. It 'was a year ago. Okay so I recently pulled out the carpet cleaner and again that dang piece of plastic broken. And put down the water but refused to take it I have manipulated to fit and it worked, but that was the last time. My father said he threw away his last year for the same reason. RI am very disappointed because it's so clean looking, but simply could not withstand the test of time. I know that Wasn t 'because the same happened to my father and he did not have long to be. Of course, you know these things have a limited warranty and hate having to pay for repairs when things are less than 5 years. seems a waste. What ever happened to things for 10 years or more? Today Rten and We Took an oriental from our living room to the terrace and steam clean it rFine .. RWhen I changed it to rinse, it does not spray 't each other. For years I had a Bissell Big Green, who did a good job. The big negatives - back breaking to use! When he finally gave up the ghost, I have this 9400 Bissell carpet cleaner standing. Wow, what a difference. Faster, lighter, and the place is as clean as with the Big Green. I have a very big house, but it does work so fast out of work that can make the whole house in a matter of days, room to room. Much less expensive than having one company do it, too. I agree with Most of the reviews here. With Respect to cleaning, it does the job. R rHowever, the small tank cleaner is one frustrating task to keep filled. Another bigger problem is the constant dripping of dirty water back onto the carpet - this ends up leaving dirt spots everywhere. The comments about using easing up on the trigger doesn 't do much. To get around this, I use a quick trigger releases the cleaner while moving backwards so the bottom plate That doesn 't get wet (Basically do the Opposite of the guides Which states to keep the trigger pressed while moving forward). I am very impressed with the carpet cleaning. I have been cleaning the stairs, spacious rooms, small rooms and three sofas. Everything looks clean very well. I like the fact that clean water and dirty in a separate room but the same large container - much easier to carry one container to the sink to dispose of dirty water and fill with a net. I think the fact that the water is heated to help dry the carpet and furniture faster. Only down side I have found is that small water containers, and required frequent trips to the baby. Same as Others I 've read. Twice Used it and it quit spraying. Went round and round with the authorized service center. Drove 38 miles only for Them to tell me I would be charged for the repair. Never again. These I read reviews before i bought it and saw the majority loved it. Should have gone with the minority opinion ... Bought a Hoover and am very happy with it. Apparently, Hoovers use a gravity dispense vs. design. a pump like the Bissells. Didn 't realize I needed an engineering degree to pick out a carpet shampooer. Lesson learned the hard way.

Don 't buy this product ... after only four uses it does not work at all. Absolute waste of money
