I loved my Bissell ProHeat for the first two years - he did an effective job of cleaning and got a number of tough stains. In addition, there are a number of cleaning solutions available, you can use with the Bissell leaving the carpet to feel good. This was particularly effective for removing the qualifications puppy failed. R rThen one day - suddenly - The Thing lost all suction. It would not spray, but Wouldn 't recover. I took it to the repair shop equipment - they said it was a very common problem with Bissell and was easily repaired. After refurbishment of $ 100, the suction worked but the sprayer Wouldn 't. Several months after the audit it Wouldn 't water sprayed from the sitting position, she had no aspiration, and upholstery / stain sprayer hanwouldn ' suction sprayer didn t 't spray - it was more like a leaky faucet. Then, the plastic tank broken. The container that Held Dispenser Wouldn 't handouts. After learning that these are all common problems with the Bissell, I gave up and bought a Hoover for about half the price. R rthe Hoover cleans just as great. Things I like about the Hoover (above the lowest price) are separate tanks for clean and dirty water, the design of the dirty water tank - which would prevent the device become clogged with dirt and debris, the lighter weight and smaller size, and the fact that the solution is mixed in the tank with clean water. The separate tanks Clean & dirty on the Hoover require a little more effort to manage - two trips to the sink rather than one - but they 'is much, much easier to empty and clean. R rthe Bissell has a water heater in my Hoover does not have a longer cable, and seems to require less frequent changing. The Bissell & jammed easily gets clogged. R rOverall, I think I got my money 's worth the Bissell, but once he started on his midlife crisis, there was no point trying to recover the thing. It cleaned well - but certainly not better than my Hoover. As these things seem to have a limited life, for my money, I 'll stick with the new Hoover.

Prior to getting this cleanser, I was using a Hoover F7425-900 Dual V After having leaks fixed twice, and knowing all the attachments were useless because of the water ended up on the floor instead of the tank, I finally decided on the Bissell ProHeat 2X Select. Overall, I like this machine. The tools work great and vacuumed water actually goes into the tank. Clean the carpets it really well, but leaves too much water in it so it takes forever to dry. Since the machine Hoover Vacuums most of the water out of the carpet leaving it almost dry, I now use both machines (Ugh, more storage space needed). I use the Bissell to do the cleaning and the Hoover to pick up water. It sure would be great if someone would produce a machine that cleaned carpets, worked the tools, and the most of the water was removed from the carpet. Imagine, one machine that would do it all!! (Oh, I have another smaller cleaner for small jobs)

We bought this model in the [...] to replace our old model that no longer function properly. We dismissed it and began to clean, only problem, it left the water dripping on the carpet. When I got back on top down to remove it, the only MORE dropped on the carpet clean water. This is extrememly frustrating. I called the customer center in the morning and we did some tests. I sugggested that I have a unit that was built on Friday afternoon and return to [...]. R Rbase on our previous experience with this brand, we buy the item again. Just done the shooting and the SAME problem! Back to [...] it goes. I 'm now seeing Hoover. R RA a few notes about this old model bissel ProHeat our verses. R1. The new model no longer has an indicator that the water is spraying onto the carpet. R2. While the new water reservoir is easy to remove and replace the hard to see and treat any water used to clean up pre through channels.

I had read all the reviews and made with what I thought was an informed decision that I purchased this floor cleaner, and for the first day it worked great! I followed the instructions and the right to floor cleaner, unfortunately, when I went to use, on the second day the ground agitators did not work. If you have contact with Bissell, I received nothing but the answers were already in the help guide instruction. The only other suggestion is that I do, until one of their repair centers. All I can say that after a good start with this Bissell product that I end up feeling very disappionted.

After much research I chose this carpet cleaner than Hoover. Want is paid more attention to the negative reviews as they are spot on. First, a tank for clean and dirty water is a pain. It has very little and no indicator to tell you when you are out of solution. So you're working away and then realize you are out of solution for who knows how long! You are constantly emptying and Refilling the tank. The separate room for the present cleaning solution not seem empty, so I guess the engine is just an explosion of water. Next, as others say, it does not seem to do a superb job of extracting dirty solution. When I would go to empty the tank is often less than half full. The carpets felt very wet and took quite a while to dry. Finally, after only a few users and 6 monthes things that doesn 't spray anymore. What a waste of money! Want is not in Hoover!

I spent what I think is an ungodly amount of money on this product (about $ 300) after reading the reviews nothing but good about it online. Hard floor cleaner broke my FIRST USE attachment and cleaning the floor of the (main part) broke after only using it about 4 times (soap / water mixture to stop out ...). At this time was more than a year out and I bought the warranty is up so my husband took it apart and found that the gasket between the tank and manifold solutions will not 't seal and lucky for me my husband was a useful and so he kept it in some way . But on the next using hand-held wand portion stopped working! I do not believe what a piece of garbage this is what it will cost me. I don 't use it THAT much - all in all I ' ve used it NO MORE than 6 times in total about 3 years ($ 50 per use!) And this has damaged more than it 's work. The problem of garbage now because I see no point in hubby fix it again, only for it to BREAK AGAIN on the next use! Why does my husband still had to rebuild things after each use? I thought I might as well just buy the one that won 't keep breaking every time I use it! I 'm never buy another Bissell, that ' s for sure!

One day last week I walked from my outdoor patio with a tray full of ingredients in cooking, chili sauces, red wine vinegar, cooking oil, etc.. and dropped the whole thing among my very light colored carpet that I so carefully maintained for many years. Each piece of cooked food with gravy all over it went to the carpet, with all the spices and liquid used to cook asian food outside. I panicked and couldn 't think that. RI quickly learn a large number of food I like to run and Bissell, but all the while thinking my $ 4000 carpet is gone. I couldn 't think it would even come close to removing these types of stains on carpet degree is drenched in them. Dark red chili sauces and heavy stigma? No way. Rbut I am going to give it a shot still. No choice. I used some dirt in the machine I had the good fortune, Which is called "solve" for the carpet cleaners, not their other products for the stigma you place by hand. I ran to get water to the machine as soon as I can and let it heat for about a minute. Then I went to work and made several passes in chaos. I was on empty the tank several times because of things, it is picking up. At first I thought it wasn 't going to work. Huge network stigma, but I persisted. A half hour later and about twenty passes with much cleaner, carpet is perfect. Things have saved me the cost of a complete replacement rug! To this day, I still don 't anything that I feel can get stains out and I had tried most products, then this success. Thank Bissell.

I'd rather have a different floor, but we have a lot of carpet on the main floor of the house (and elsewhere). Although we have wood in the fireplace, we would not want to track dirt into the family room and living room. We have three children who bring food in the room even though THEY ARE NOT supposed to be! And, we have this fantastic Bissell carpet dust which remove nearly all dirt and stains. R rI really appreciate this carpet cleaner. We bought it based on reviews from several different companies 'machine. We also bought it to avoid paying a professional carpet cleaner and DECREED that would make sense to have one of our own. This is a purchase we glad we made! Every month or so, my husband (job) to move most of the furniture, get the carpet cleaner and clean the carpet. They always look great and they are then dried in a few hours. Machine really scrub the stain and can suck up a lot of water. That leaves a big wet pile of dusty cat hair (though we vacuum before cleaning), but I take the people with ease (my job). Our machines are widely used and have not caused us no problems at all. R rI 've read that carpet cleaning is often not very good for the carpet - it ' s supposed to add a lot of wear and tear. However, our carpet is still going strong and we try to use the machine every month or more. Carpet so we could get dirty looks after a while that I don 't really care whether it would affect longevity - having our carpets clean and fresh smelling far more important to me.

I shop online for weeks before deciding. I've borrowed a Bissell carpet cleaners for a while, this one seems to be the best so far. Assembly is easy. It is a little heaver then I expected. I like water resivoir, they have increased the seal & hooks. Appliances that are labor intensive, such as the water shoots out highly concentrated & it takes a lot of work to make them dry. Maybe it just takes a while to get the hang of it. Overall, glad I bought it.

I found putting the unit together was easy, it cleaned the white carpets of all foot traffic and dog marking, some months old, and although the carpet was wet for a day, due to the heavy clean and it is expected proforma. It was fantasic on the bamboo flooring and doesn 't need to Wipe dry with a towel over it I ' ve always had to do. Very good product for the price and cheaper than calling in carpet cleaners four times a year.
