This is my second vac the same type. It does the job well, until it does. RNothing extraordinary. Turbo brush is bad. Stop working on my first vac the brush attachment and after a few months, and the whole vac died (motor) shortly after the warranty period. Unfortunately, I have already bought more than one filter so I decided it's better to buy the same model in order to use them hope for a better quality. R rmy general opinion at the moment is still good or bad. I have negative experiences with the same model, some time ago and I still do not know whether my new VAC will be better. One might wonder why there are so many "refurbished " 082660 vacs and offered DirtDevil 's side?

I purchased this product with the specifications of my housekeeper to replace a strut, heavyduty gap that had seen its day. The issue came with a broken command to separate the tube (which would have worked anyway). A phone call led to the immediate replacement of the pipe, no questions, no need to return the broken piece. I like doing business with people like that. The original shipping and spare parts, came before the housekeeper 's on your next visit. She loves it so it 'm happy.

This is good for work or small vacuum for quick cleaning. If you want a nice lightweight Canister vacuum to do a quick pick up before the score or to come and clean the dirty little casino, this is a good choice. E 'also useful for climbing stairs. It has good suction and dirt catcher is easy to remove and empty without getting dust and dirt everywhere, like some models. This is an inexpensive device, everything is plastic (of course almost all vacuum cleaners are all plastic now) rmy Biggest pet peeve with this unit is the aromatiques cable. OK you think won 't RETRACT .. exactly the opposite. The cable retracts end. The problem is the latch that prevents the cord rewind. Not working well and as long as it is slowly withdrawing aspiration of the bone where 's own. So either you have continuously pull the cord sooner or later, or simply unplug the unit from the wall. I found a solution, I got a good potato chip bag clip and pull the cord all the way out and then put the clip on the cable as close to the unit as I can. This prevents the cable retracting further. I know it's silly but it works. RI do not recommend this vacuum, like a man every day. It just isn 't powerful enough and has not dirt catch big enough.

This is my first review. I felt that I had to see him, I took about a year ago to replace my filter mighty mite. Just dont buy it, the broom would better.very suction poor handle.I gimmickey awkard awarded 1 star cause i like the disappearance cord.Dont buy it!

My problems with this item are threefold (so far). I just bought it and am trying it out for the first time today and here is what I 've noted: r r1. The rug attachment doesn 't do squat, and while I have mostly hardwood floors, I do have a couple of area rugs that need to be vacuumed at least occasionally; r r2. The cord is VERY short. Annoyingly so. With my other vacuum cleaners, I 've had to move the plug once while doing the house, but with this one, I ' m moving it as much as twice per room. Why on earth didn 't they give the thing to ample electrical cord?? R r3. the handle / arm of the thing is way too short. I have to bend over to use it and this is hard on my back (and I teach yoga!) I 'm looking to try and find another segment I can buy to attach to the handle to lengthen it. r r rBut, in fact, I 'm seriously considering returning this thing to the store from which it came.

I knew that this might not be the biggest gap at this price, but I thought it was worth groped. I wasn 't expect miracles. I thought that was pretty good suction, and 's light, but that ' s about all I can say for it. R rAnnoyance number one is that there is no fastener to hold the tube to the handle, or attachments to the end of the tube. Attachments are less of a problem, but that the tube came out during use I don 't know how many times a month, we ' ve this property. That gets really old fast. Hair R rWhen is wrapped around the roller brush, as inevitably is, this is very difficult to dismount to clear off r rther is never the empty store attachments small. There are some clips on the tube, which may have been designed for this, but it was ridiculous, because it fell very quickly. R rthe roller brush is powered only by suction, so you don 't expect a lot from this. He stopped a number of times. R rthe power cord has been short compared to our last empty, so it was necessary to connect twice to finish our stay, which isn 't * all * that big. R rthe last straw was when the engine stopped without warning, and I could 't get it going again. I will never buy another Dirt Devil.

Not only was the price but the order was unbeatibable PROMP and the person who buys me a vacuum as a gift was verry happy.

I just got this vacuum yesterday. I've used, and it does the job to collect things in dog hair and light hardwood floors. It is very lightweight which is nice. However, it is not what I would call a very good vacuum. The insertion of carpets is useless, does not work well in carpet. And adherence to the wood floor, while working, running wheels, plastic in its hardwood, so I'm not very comfortable using it in wood for fear of scratching it. So if you do not want a vacuum for a decent price with the sole purpose of making quick cleaning hardwood floors, and are too worried about scratching the floor, this is an acceptable value. Otherwise, I 'd pass. I had a vacuum before it can be broke and only had a great rubber grip hardwood floor. However, this gap was $ 350 +. Therefore, I believe you get what you pay for.

I bought this vacuum after many, many hours of research in the Amazon and I am extremely pleased. We have wood floors throughout our entire house and let me tell you, this vacuum really sucks (in a good way!) The power of 12 amps is amazing! I really look forward to clean now! However, not for carpet - carpet as the brush is only fed by the flow of air and has no motor to rotate the brush. The suction control on handle is a great feature. I love the bagless design, it is easy to empty and included brush to clean the HEPA filter prevents knocking and dust cloud that followed. You will save thirty or forty dollars for the purchase of this model. The 082,700 and adding an extension cord, like the emptiness itself is exactly the same! All in all - a great value and a great void!

It is good suctions, motile, bagless and small for 's work load. The only exception is the cleaning after. There are filters in and brush to clean as well. Sort of defeats the bagless ease, in some ways.

I have owned this vacuum for 8 weeks. I wanted to change my very strong straight and have something that can reach under beds and furniture, I saw this machine. It 's light and much quieter than my old vacuum and also roll over all surfaces. I agree with other reviews that this is not the best in carpets / throw rugs. This will pick up surface debris but won 't get down too deep. I have hardwood floors 95% so it isn 't much of a problem for me. Cord is a little on the short side but I use a small cord and extesion can go 1 / 2 way through my 1200sq.ft. house. The hook attachment on the board doesn 't work for me, they fall when I go under furniture you but I just use 2 of them still. I like the brush isn 't too full, my old one used to get full of dirt that I couldn ' t get out. And empty / clean the filter about the 3rd each time you use it. Save my old upright in the basement and use it to vacuum the filter and dirt cup! I think I'm about due for my first change the filter gets dark with dust but think I extended it 's life by vacumming it clean. I have a dog Bichon Frize and it picks up just fine though in his hair doesn 't shed much. It has very good suction as you clean the filter. This vacuum wouldn 't be a good pick if you have any carpeted room that gets used a lot but hardwood where it ' s very good.

I bought this vacuum to replace an older Dirt Devil canister and love it. It has great power and easy to maneuver. I like the bagless idea, though you want to empty it to an outside trash, it would be pretty messy inside, but the filters and dust bin is easy to remove. RThe only drawbacks are that the cord could be longer and the tools incorporated in the wand and if you want to vacuum in a crowded place they get knocked off. Ri love the turbo brush for area rugs and dog beds.

I 've got floors and carpets, and this vacuum really doesn ' t get the job done either. The setting of the carpet is very difficult to maneuver and has several steps to get up all the little pieces of lint, very little suction. I might as well just use a lintbrush. The floor attachment is cheaper and made of hard plastic that I'm afraid to shave my floor, my swiffervac Cheapo does a better job (and is SCRATCHLESS). If my house had all the tiles or vinyl flooring I 'd be happy with this vac, and is light enough to schlep. The attachment of upholstery is decent, as is the spout. Taken together, all the other vacuum I 've owned has been both cheaper and better.

Love the Dirt Devil. Does the best job of any cleaner I ever used. I recommend it over all others. Excellent cleaning ability and excellent value.

We had this vacuum for a few years now and have been very pleased with it. I think money is a great buy. We have wood floors and works wonderfully with them. The suction is great. My only complaint is that I think the cable could be higher, it is a bit short. We circumvent this problem by using an extension cable (without too much difficulty).

This is by far one of the best vacuum cleaner canister that I had. I like the ergonomic grip. I'm tall, which makes handling very easy to use. It has the suction power 12 amps and it shows. I also like the ease of this ACC is empty cartridge. One of the easiest hepas around. I have allergies to dust mites, so I really appreciate the ease of cleaning this vacuum. It even comes with it 's own small brush to help loosen the filter. Rhighly recommend

I 've Used this vacuum Three Times As I ve ' t have bought. It works well so far. We have two cats, no carpet Usually full of her hair, took this little thing, the problem goes well. It 's easy to empty the dust container. The vacuum has two heads for the carpets, and three other smaller heads for the hard to reach places. It 'sa nice little vacuum that is to follow me into the apartment, and it ' s easy to wear it when I have to.

082 660 Dirt Devil Vision vacuum cleaner tank empty rThis is small and light, however, the suction power is almost nothing, on a carpet. The wooden floor is great. I would not recommend this product to anyone.

I have had it for 2 years and it is unusable. The vacuum cleaner shuts off after running a few minutes. (That is a feature, eleven Cools down the engine, you can turn it on again. Takes one hour) I know you have to clean the filter and empty the dust bin. That is a bad design decision. And Don 't know what is the problem with having bags. Of course, I can buy a new filter for $ 20 - $ 25, but it won 't last before I have to do this again. I am spending far more money than I ever had where filters with bags. R rToday clean my vacuum quit after 3 minutes, even though I had just emptied the Brushed Canister and the filter. R rToday I am in the market for a new vacuum cleaner. I also will never ever never ever never ever buy another Dirt Devil product ever again.

I hate this vacuum cleaner. Unlike other vacuum cleaners without I 've used, you must not only empty the dirt cup you take a brush and clean the Hepa filters used for each pair. If you need to clean the HEPA filter, dust everywhere - on the ground and in the air that I breathe they land. The HEPA filter is never clean. Honestly, I feel like it needs to be thrown away after just a few months of use. The HEPA filter costs $ 24.99 on the website of Dirt Devil. What a rip-off - 25% of the price for this product of the filter! The brush for this product are also unacceptable. The floor brush has a plastic bottom, not to resist brushed bottom. So, if you like the idea of buying by pulling a plastic part to make your wood floor, this vacuum. If you want an acceptable brush, you can purchase an additional charge. I hate this vacuum is so much I 'll probably only use and abuse in the garage as a shop vac, so I justify, taking it out and pitching it to the curb.

He bought a bagless Sanyo few months ago ($ 69 or less), then this before Christmas for $ 99. First of all, shipping was like the speed of light. Secondly, the quality was surprisingly good for this price. A few days after a game with this machine, I thought I made the right decision. Although the suction can be a little better (suction Sanyo's was unbelievably good, take it all this way), the overall performance and handling are very good and easy. Rather, the bagless filter is good. When I empty it first, he took all kinds of dirt and dust, but did not release much odor when in use. Only cons are that there is no storage compartment for small accessories and the cable can be longer.

I agree with Prof2U on the HEPA filter. Sa pain is real "to clean, and you really need to clean every two times you use the cleaner. That really doubt, the filter is to keep the water clean. I wish that I had a regular disposable vacuum bag. R ri found a website that sells the filter $ 24.98, including shipping. That still seems to me too expensive, taking into account the filter having to change every few months. Even after brushing and brushing, filter is still dirty. R ri is an Oreck for my carpet, but I bought the can to clean my hardwood floors. I wanted something cheap, and it does do a good job. It seems to have a lot of energy, and rolling quietly and smoothly behind me as I work. The short cable, isn 't the problem. I connected a 9-foot long cable and I keep Pls leave it empty. R ri ' d probably give this one 5 star rating if not t 'to the HEPA filter.

This works in heavy vacuum carpets, but it's great on wood floors. I would not buy it on the wall, vacuum carpet wall. For the price this is a great model. Installation is easy, easy storage, dumping the dirt is easy and not confusing, and suction is good. This emptiness is a second major. I would just suggest models for a large apartment. This vacuum is much more than a vertical versitale for Families with hardwood floors and carpets. It also picks up pet hair very well. It certianly beats radical!

He gave as a Christmas gift and she loves it. She says it sucks well and loves the fact that there is no bag.

Works great for cleaning my apt. I have two cats and a dog and a lot of pet hair and it took it with ease.
