This was a great buy for my house. I have many allergies and have been miserable for far less than placing this unit in the master bedroom. He murmurs 's quiet and I got it running non-stop, over two years now. I highly recommend this air purifier to anyone who wants a high quality unit.

I got this to replace comme au air filter (not Rabbit Air) We Were moving Into the basement downstairs. I really like this one Better Because It Has Which year Auto feature senses the air and the fan speed accordingly cylces. It Has a setting pollen Which Will run constantly. Filters are not expensive (comparatively) and the only HEPA Has To Be Replaced Every 18 months and the Carbon filter 3 years ever! Just vacuum to hairpins! R ron car, the sensor senses chemicals gold odori and kicks it accordingly. It Has A NON-OZONE ion Creating Which setting freshen the air with it Circulate No funny smell OZONE. Another nice feature Is The Turbo Mode. You select Turbo and it runs the fan on high for 10 minutes and Then It Switches to Auto mode. R rDrawbacks are the bright LCD panel Since We Have it in the bedroom purpose I Have Some could just post it notes over the top. If you aren 't planning on HAVING it has bedroom (it is a bit large for just one room anyway) this shouldn ' t Be year end. The Other drawback Is That If You Have It on the pollen setting, you can 't use the Auto setting. I Had it on auto (it wasn 't running) and switched to Pollen and it started "to run. I 'm not sure I want it to run on a low speed all the time (Which it DID What the Other One) Because I liked the idea Rather it kicked off WHEN NOT needed but ... I Guess That 's the purpose of setting the pollen. The Other IS drawback Several functions are not available Without the remote control. To help not lose it There Is a storage slot on the top of the machine. R rI would recommend.

I bought the RA 582A back in November 2007, I have a couple of years of experience with it. I am just getting ready to replace the HEPA filter on the device. I suck the carbon filter in a vinegar solution to refresh, and I don 't Need to see to replace it now. The HEPA filter is fragile, but that I find with a damp microfiber cloth, I can wipe out many of the pollutants of the thin membrane protects the HEPA filter. Filter change I'm there when I click on it, I notice a decrease in the flow of air, probably because of the HEPA filter blocks. But there 's more than two years, so that s ' not bad. The plastic (coarse) filter is easily rinsed off in front and brushed clean. Wow begins, there are a lot of dust, pollen, and this time even a big mistake! The effectiveness of the HEPA filter tube is probably why can sustain for a long time. R rthe unit Seems To Perform well, but you have to mesh the two sensors, by vacuuming or wiping the dust accumulate over time. The automatic setting works, but I think it's better, the fans run constantly on the low setting to keep. It is very quiet and doesn 't we interfere. The unit is in our family room near the kitchen. It effectively moves most of the cooking odors before they travel up into the bedroom. R rthe controls are very good. I like the red light on, eat that every 90 days or so in order to warn you to clean the filters. The remote control is also very nice, but stays away in a "pocket money " on the upper back of the machine stuck. R rSorry to see some of the others had some problems with their units, but so far we haven 't experienced so far. I recommend this model of Rabbit air purifiers.

I ordered a 582BioGS model after Being a very happy owner of the RabbitAir BioGS421. I wanted a unit with a Higher CADR (clean air throughput) rating than the 421 for downstairs, so I paid the extra $ 80 or so dollars for a bigger unit. My new filter arrived today, and it works just like my 421. Which is the problem. RA Rabbitair quick check on the website seems to confirm my suspicion that the 582 and 421 are identical: the dimensions are the same, the weight is the same, and all three filters are the same. If this is supposedly a beefier unit, shouldn 't it use a bigger air filter? Shouldn 't it Require a heavy duty motor mode? Most likely the only difference is that the turbine is programmed to run at a Higher speed on the 582. This leads me to a lot of questions such as, how can the 582 and 421 Have the same if the advertised life filter 582 pumps more air through the same filter? Won 't the motor burn out quicker on the 582 since it is driven dependencies? Unless you are running the 582 and the "turbo " settings very often and want to risk potential reliability issues a couple of years down the line, save money and buy the Super 421. I resent having paid an extra $ 80 for the ability to run the fan a little bit faster.

I tried several air filters over the years, Sharp, Oreck, Hunter, Honeywell, Delonghi and I've never been too impressed. All this has changed with my rabbit Air I love this machine. R rWhen I bought this unit I was serious about getting a good air filter. I compared this and several others and it came down to a choice between that and a Blueair unit. After reviewing the costs for the Blueair filter I decided to take a gamble on a lesser known Rabbit Air, I was not disappointed. R is calm and laughed after one or two months of use, dust and odors are greatly improved. The design is elegant, with minimal power consumption, and a clever combination of pre-filter which prolongs the life and freshness of the main filter filters which results in lower costs. As others have mentioned, the sensors of dust or odors are questionable. Sometimes it seems to react to dust or odor, but other times he seems to react to ghosts! R rI am only up to three of these units now, but need another for a different area. My only complaint is that these units are expensive, but as they say, you get what you pay for. When you add the cost of filter to other models this one is ahead even in two years against the units at low prices you can find on the shelves of Wal-Mart.

When I Have Often guests with flu I tend to get it as well with this goal, I do not get it. Additionally, During flu season when i come in slight HAVING Symptoms of flu and intransitive in the room with the Biogas, my SYMPTOMS are gone by morning So They do not just keep circulating in the air for me to continue to contaminer me with the germs. All the reviews made great claims, a lot of money but worth it Because it improved water quality so much. i 've air purifiers and had many before I m ' more satisfied with this. I've often heard about Rabbit Air Before I knew it was going to get a good product. I have 780 square feet, and it does not work very well for two quarters. We have smokers at home in a designated area and does a fabulous job getting the odor through the entire apartment. I take comfort in knowing that it will eliminate odor and bacteria and allergens in the air as if an older cat so it 's good for pets as well. A pet peeve I have is that it 's quite big in size, but due to STI sleek design that "is not a very big deal. He is not super thin as I expected, but still sexy and enjoyable.

The product is great. I bought another one for the front room. Love it.

When I bought this air purifier that he could feel the difference. The air seemed fresh and clean. Now That I 'Had It sees few months, still makes a difference, but doesn t ' seem to be very extreme. This really works. The auto mode is fantastic. Delivered as needed. To put it gently .... when I pass my dogs or gas in the second, the automatic mode kicks in is at a higher speed. If I come up from my basement, it detects everything I brought with me and to stimulate it is normally quiet and usually runs at low speed but I am astonished at the sensitivity to what is in the air with three dogs and it does the job. The filters are not a problem to clean. I intend to buy another for my bedroom because it sits on a crawl space.

I only have the Rabbit Air 582A Biogen for several weeks. Very easy to prepare, and get the surgery. I hope the instructions go into more details about what the different functions are used to [for people like me who do not know] the technical lingo. Seem to be working fine. I have many allergies. Some people say they don t 'know where to put the remote. There are curves formed to remote areas at the top of the unit, on the right side air vent, for this purpose. I'm thinking about getting the second one, when I can, outside my room.

Comfortable I 've been Rabbit Air will continue to support the product based on the experience we had with the first unit that arrived in a box that had been treated roughly. When inspecting the package, found the damaged product and immediately called Rabbit air. Their customer service responded in the second ring and transfer without me, they were able to ask some questions and in less than five minutes, I was on the phone. The new unit was very next day and took the charger unit damaged in the same visit! Now that 's the definition of excellent customer service! Rthe product R is guaranteed for five years and if we consider that Rabbit Air actually answers the phone with a live person, it really makes me believe that they will be there If we run into warranty issues or questions. We are completely satisfied with the company and the product at this time. Bottom line: The product works exactly like the product description implies and is very well supported. R RWE 've had the Rabbit Model 582A Biogen air for two months and it performs very well. The unit is in the room and we leave it in automatic mode all the time. The speed changes automatically depending on the amount of dust, pollen or odor in the air. This should lead to energy at the lowest possible cost, while still keeping the air clean. R rWhile The price was a bit high, I think the unit will perform well over the next five years or more and should have the lowest cost of ownership. The carbon pre-filter and filter can be cleaned (every 1-2 months for the pre-filter every 18-36 months and for the carbon filter).The charcoal filter can be cleaned only once and then is supposed to be replaced after getting dirty again. The HEPA filter requires changing only once every 36 months. Timers for filter replacement and cleaning are built into the unit and automatic. Hopefully it will be cheaper to operate than most others on the market with similar capabilities. Frankly, I 'm expecting to get more from life than the manual says all filters, because the air in our room is not too dirty for the unit to operate at an extremely low speed (almost can ' t hear it !) Most of the TIME. Expired r ri 'm still perplexed that the reports on consumer has not rated it excellent, efficient and very well supported product. I know it's well supported, because the first unit was damaged in shipping (UPS fell hard). I called Rabbit Air and the second ring, a live person picked up the phone and arranged within less than five minutes to get a new unit of origin. The new unit arrived the next day and UPS just picked up the damaged unit at the same time ...

I recently (Following Divorce) moved into a house of my own and one of the bedrooms turned into a "smoking room, " Where I could enjoy my pipes and cigars while reading. I ordered the 582 BiosGS as a way of keeping the air clear while I smoke. Lord! Does it ever work. I had hoped that the air cleaner would keep the smoke from "polluting " the rest of the house. It keeps an even polluting the smoke from the smoking room. Nowhere in the house - not an even in the smoking room - can anyone tell that there 'sa smoker in residence. R rThere 've been comments about the unit ' s noise level. Yes, When I light up a cigar and it kicks into turbo mode, it 's clearly audible. BUT not so overwhelming I can not carry that on an easy conversation with any visitors. It 's like a fan Blowing in the background. OK, in truth IS a fan is Blowing in the background, BUT not audible at all oppressive or disturbing. R RIF you 're a smoker and want to spare others in the home or from the odors from secondhand smoke, this is the unit for you. r ras an amusing antidote, I recently came home after driving on some of Oklahoma 's particularly dusty dirt roads (I now live in Arkansas). I bought one and one 582A and 421A Both work very well in the event the biggest room in my home. Looking back, I Could Have Saved Some Money if I just Purchased with the "small " one.

This product came before I expected and in perfect condition. This Is Slightly Larger than I thought it would. Air in the Home we do not seem WHERE shelf in the room was located. I Never Able to dramatically reduce the amount I need to take allergy medicine purchase since these cleaners. Screen a little light for use in the bedroom. To tackle the problem, I put a small piece of black paper over it and just lift when I want to change the settings with the remote.

I Have Had The BiosGS for about one month. We keep it running all the time, and it is keeping the air cleaner Clearly. I am glad we bought. Hopefully I 'll Feel The Same in the long run. (I 'd give the unit five stars, but i haven ' t had it long enough.)

They were just using the 582A for a few weeks. It seems to be working well and my allergys don 't seem so bad. It 's really simple to opperate 582A and warns when the filter needs changed or cleaned.

Kept allergy sufferers by the side of the bed, I have serious problems with most historical around our dog allergies. I would recommend this product to anyone with allergies and would like to suggest is' to be placed near the bed (where you spend the most time at home).

I finally chose this air purifier after much research and reading rave reviews. I 've cleaned the filters just as soon as it tells me They need it. It 's been in a very low-traffic areas (master bedroom). So, imagine my surprise Pls, after 10 months of running, it began making odd and loud noises. At That point, it got turned off. I 've just recently turned it back on and cleaned all filters, etc, hoping It would help. But alas, it is broken. Unfortunately I got it in late October 2007, so it is 13 months old and was ony warranteed for 12 months. R RSO if You Want to pay $ 400 for something That May last only one year, buy this. R rThere was one other thing I didn 't like about it. The display is very useful - but very bright! It lights up the master bedroom at night and there is no option to dim it. We Had to affix a dark cloth over the display, in order to sleep. R rUPDATE: 12/05/2008 Apparently They do have a 5 year warranty, the which is great! For about $ 25, I returned the unit and They are sending me a replacement unit in a Few days. I would change my star rating from a 2 to a 4 based on this alone. But it 's not letting me change my original rating. I 'll continue Trying.
