We bought this new in 2007 and is the biggest piece of shit I've ever spent money. The self-cleaning filter doesn 't clean cars so that the vacuum is cloggged. The removal tool pet hair is a joke, as it connects immediately with pet hair, and then you need to remove it, perhaps, that 's what they meant. The vacuum is heavy, is very weak suction. I took apart to clean it several times, trying to us ........ I can not wait to use it for target practice this spring, as I don 't know anyone dispise me enough to give this thing!

Self-cleaning HEPA filter engine is built to break after a period of time. I just spent two days cleaning the empty world and decided to set the filter too. The filter for the engine was still running, but the filter does not work. The reason there 's because they made the motor filter plugin with a few strategically placed holes that make the leap plastic over time. Once the plastic breaks, it is no longer able to enter the filter of the turn. I'm breaking inwards and fill it with expansion glue to resolve this problem (which should do the trick). I would be surprised if the self-cleaning worked over a year on this model. Rit has been cleaned very messy, and took 25 screws to get it out (which is important if you plan to replace the filter)

Buy this vacuum lasted 6 whole months! The only good thing I can think of is that 1) looks like a transformer 2) when the working day has great suction. The thing just died one day but what is the bigger bummer is a "double-reach " the coil broke after only 2 months now .. I wasn 't even reach that far and the things that tear in the lining of the base. .. had to duck tape to make it somewhat useful. It is also very very heavy! Not sure why the death suction gives only one day.

The self-cleaning filter to stop working, after which the vacuum clogs. I had to junk the vacuum.

Therefore, my old vacuum was broken and needed a replacement emergency because we had no company comes here. After buying it, I read Consumer Reports and many favorable than it was, I was so relieved. Well, that lasted long. The first couple times I used it I was fine with him. But what really is a piece of shit. In fact, it's even worse than the $ 69 that uses Eureka college. Here are some reasons that aims (in the bad way): r r1. The doesn t suck '(in a good way). 've Never used a vacuum suction is less. R2. You must empty the can every time you use it. If Mr. ', not literally suck the small leaf soil. R3. All this mess r4. It is very heavy. R RDO not be fooled by all gadgets. This is the only way of Hoover vacuum cleaners sold yet IMO. R b rYour money would be better spent on the Panasonic.

This vacuum cleans well, but the quality of materials used are suspect. The plastic body of the machine was broken when the screws to bottomplate. This is my fifth and Hoover is the only thing that is so badly done. I still have two that I use Hoover and cleaning the garage floor. One of them is over 15 years of age. Of course all this happened right after the warranty and Hoover was sympathetic, but there was another remedy. No woman says no longer buying a vacuum as it obviously does not stand behind their products. Incredible vacuum suction is the batter but the path is sometimes bothersome and difficult to clean. The accessories are easy to use but I would like the treatment was compatible with its large hose detachment.

This is annoying for this reason ... R r1. Self cleaning filter doesn 't work AT ALL. It clogs After A Few use only, and this turns out to animal smells, dust spewing evil. Actually I think this dust Than Creating more lift. R r2. This is WAY heavy. A vacuum cleaner is heavy it should at least be Decent player, but that does not r3 R .. dust doesn t jar 'to make a good seal for the vacuum, so Whenever you take it to empty it, ALWAYS fall crap all the vacuum and dust getting everywhere. R r4. Decreasing suction has a quarter of What It Is When It Was New. After getting cleaned up filters get clogged, suction non Almost there. R RI took it apart and cleaned everything out, and it still works like crap. At first I thought this Is That I had just broken, but it turns out, 99% of people who have it experience the same problem I had. Just read all the reviews here on Amazon. Remarkable how this Is Bad designed.

I really can not say that this is the best vacuum for the price in the market because I haven 'tried any of them, but that does make a very good job. It is true that the gap is difficult to push, but only in creating low carpets. However, I do not bother 'pushing a little harder to clean carpets are some of my really low. I do a wonderful job anyway. not like you force the maximum in the same areas again and again. You go to an area once and the fact is Jobe. if the empty set in the carpet of medium and high and rigid modes for land, there should be no problem. I must say that the gap is a bit big and heavy, but doesn t 'does not bother me because I always use the stairs and rolls. I also think it 's superior performance outweight the size of the vacuum. The first time I tried this vacuum, I was surprised by the suction power. First tested in a mostly black area rug in the room (you can see all the little white specs on them), and did a great job. As in the first place, he said, I'm sure there are other gaps in the market to make things a good job. However, you can not complain about it. on the HEPA filter, I is not working now, but I do know that you have to change periodically. I do not know how often. No. I t 'changed my two years, but occasionally I will take the vacuum outside and clean the filter with a dry brush. makes it clear there is confusion because a lot of dust in the filter. Maybe if the filter arrested on the charge, a part that was not 't have to go through complicated. So I read the manual and is supposed to empty the cup after each use. And Don 't until my gap is completely filled. no wonder the filter working cattle t '. I think if the empty cup after each use, the filter can be cleaned. but if the glass is full, then the filter can not rotate so it can not clean yourself. Maintenance was a very and I have not done a good job on it. At the same stem, the vacuum still works great and does a great job. I am very satisfied with it. I have two children. I've used this vacuum every day for the past two years. Still works great. every time I use, my floors and carpets look great. the tools that come with it are so helpful. is easy to access compared with beds and cupboards. I will I use to clean my car, sofa, everything. so the price goes up, I paid $ 150.00 for mine. Sears is quoted on average about two years ago. Worth the suggested price of $ 300.00! It's an excellent vacuum, so yes I think yes. Is looking to spend so much money on a good vacuum cleaner, go for it. He did not disappoint.

Was this vacuum When brand new, it Performed very well. However, as Others Have Pointed out, Eventually the self-cleaning HEPA filter stops working. It Because It Was Our case the transmission That 's responsible for turning the HEPA filter isn ' t durable enough. It 's Entirely made out of plastic. R Rafter about three months of bi-weekly use the self cleaning HEPA filter stopping working (Can you tell Because It ' s visible and it stops turning.) Is That What Happens Then the area Between the housing and the filter Becomes Completely get clogged with whatever the vacuum is sucking up. Eventually I took the whole thing apart and discovered the problem What WAS That is, the stripped plastic transmission. I ordered a replacement (about $ 20) and installed it thinking just HAD That We Had Some bad luck with the original part. The replacement (Which Was Exactly the same as the original) Worked great ... for about two months When the HEPA filter stopped rotating again. Repair again? Or replace? R rAnyway, When it works, it works well. However Because of the faulty design I can not recommend it.

Don 't buy this. The Hepa filter jams with dirt and you will spend it cleaning a very messy day for every hour you spend vacuuming. After the warranty expired filter rotating mechanism broke due getting dirt in the gears. Repair cost is $ 150. Also, the so called 'Powered "brush for use on the upholstery is Wand ' Powered " by suction through the hose. It is Worthless for cleaning crumbs or pet hair, as the slightest pressure on the brush causes it to stop spinning. Hoover knows this machine is junk and stopped making it. It 's sad how the Hoover name and reputation are being destroyed by whatever corporation now owns once this fine brand.

This is the worst vacuum I've ever had. t The work of the doesn drive power "properly and it's hard to push. The self-cleaning filter is far from self-cleaning. When you take the magic wand of her difficult to replace. All-in-this whole thing is a disaster and I'm sure glad I kept my old Windtunnel - a new toothbrush and belts and like new. Don 't buy it!

When I first saw my new vacuum, I loved to clean it like a charm. Then the self (what working for a joke) HEPA filter stopped after a few uses. It is clogged, and dust in the air, if not cleaned. You need on your back with a knife to put butter Clean Each slot, and rotate to make it work. I tried again to make and well, sorry, your 30 days. So now I'm stuck with a piece of crap that I paid about $ 300.00 for. Yes I know the research and this model has had to win all, I wonder who has the exam? Certainly not really a housewife, which uses a vacuum.

In short, this vacuum cleaner is badly designed and is a pain to use, and for all effort that is not even that too clean. If this is enough to spend, you save $ 300, great, if not, read on: r rLet me first say that I have pets and am a bit of a Neat-freak so I generally vacuum every other day, so a good vacuum is a valuable thing for me. I bought this vacuum cleaner almost two years ago, a second vacuum needs to have one on each floor of our house, and want to replace the older, bagged models. After a careful comparison of the features that I thought I would be this model to upgrade. I have the purchase and was sorry almost immediately. I regret not back then. R rFirst to achieve extra-suction wand is out of the handle made of metal separates - which left my gray scratch marks from baseboards, window sills, etc. He scratched some of my furniture as I tried to get under beds, scratch marks on my ceramics tiles, etc. If you thought metal bracket on the left wall was a good idea has obviously never used a vacuum at any length. Also, it is not, to the vacuum base slightly - it must really Clock back together. The rest of our experience with it has since been downhill. R rSecond, the on-board rotating brush tool is impossible to get on out of its niche. I can 't just spread them out and use it, it will be something like a wrestling game, which is a pain Pls you are in the middle of vacuuming and the machine is running, etc. I thought it was only me, until my husband saw me once and commented on how the thing is miserable. R rThird, the self-cleaning HEPA filter is a lie. The filter must be cleaned manually, at least once per month, or the vacuum cleaner loses suction. Both my husband and I had to take a screwdriver to remove the HEPA compartment apart to be compacted dust. I 've actually a (ridiculous) Used other vacuum vacuum from the HEPA filter on this model! When I put a vacuum, and pull my bag-in models from another old familiar ground, because it 's easier to use and cleans better, that' s a waste of $ 300. R ri now own two self-propelled wind tunnel (a bagged and bagless one) and these models. That's because I have this vacuum cleaner so much that I recently went from hated and bought the bagless Wind Tunnel self-propelled models, so I do not my $ 300, the hard-to-use, doesn 'use of T-works right-most-of-the-time wind tunnel won 2 Extra Reach Bagless Vacuum Cleaner. To be honest, all do it, the inclusion of storage space at this point, but I'm angry at what a waste of time and money it every time I was.

A vacuum worst I 've ever owned! t 's self-cleaning "HEPA doesn ' filter to clean up and becomes so full of dirt, hair, etc. to stop working. When this area gets clogged, it will no longer pick-up. There is a set of plastic gears that control the filter and these become striped due to dirt accumulation. I tried to fix mine, but then fall to pieces, I took for recycling and went and bought a Bissell "series Healthy Home" ; great extent. I had to hover for about a year. I hope some lawyer makes a class-action lawsuit, the internet forums, websites, etc, are full of stories like mine. Everyone has the same problem, and even when sent for repair, they last only a short time before crashing again. Do not waste your time or money on it, regardless of the price thing!

This vacuum has a good cleaning system when running. Apparently, the problem I have 'had the problem with most people stop and turn the filter is clogged suffer. This means that the vacuum won 't pick up anything and hose detachment work won t '. R ri took the vacuum out today and figured out how to fix it. R1. Take all screws on the top of the cleaner to pull the white and orange Strategy (or other just guessing at different models). R2. Clean all dirt from the filter and around it with a flathead screwdriver. It helps to have another vacuum to suck dirt into the filter if you have another gap. R3. On the right side of the filter is the motor for rotating the filter. The work is still impressive. The reason that you stop turning the filter in the first place is to be built dirt on the sides of the filter create too much friction and breaks a piece of the filter motor connection. Take the outside of the casing of the engine off. It seems that there are screws holding it in place, but only one closing. Just open it enough for the large white gear out. This equipment is connected to the filter. Once out, if you look at it close, we see that what used to be a rectangular shape has become a circular. Fill in the hole halfway with some super glue (I used gorilla glue) and put in place. R4.Put the gap again and wait a few hours. R rHope this helps. It worked for me. R ra Penn State students

Because I had the wind tunnel most people on POFAK old (parents of children with food allergies) agreed that list if couldn 'afford a Dyson, the wind tunnel was in second place. I got the free bag, and I t shelter 'was almost as happy with that one as I expected. R rThere No sturdy handle on the cup, so it can be difficult to hold. Dumping It 's definitely two-handed operation, and since I have to keep open the lid of the box when emptying the cup, great PITB SA '. When I pull out the cup, it spills a bit more '. It 's not a group, drinking Then I felt the need to aspire to escape shortly after I dump the cup. This I 'started "taking the" empty Whole Out When I empty! R rDog hair sticks in the cup, so you have to reach in and pull out. Also, if I flip the cup over to pull stuff out of it sometimes falls off the filter thingy and then I have to get him out of the box. My dog sheds so much that you must empty the cup Every Time I vacuum a room. Her hair also gets stuck on / around the beater brush, and knows that 'HUGE PAIN to clean (then this applies to every vacuum there I ' never used). R pet hair rthe Is All purpose tool worthless. The aspiration is what spins the beater brush on it, so just put it down against the sofa cushion, it stops spinning. R Ras far as cleaning goes ... Whenever someone I know get a Dyson, are crazy about how it works. I totally didn t 'have this reaction with my wind tunnel. R rOverall , it 's good. Nothing spectacular about it. I think I might be happy with the version in bags, except then I 'd be a shortage of bags. At this point, I 'm torn between splurging for the Dyson or just sucking (no pun intended) and Living With the wind tunnel Until we are able to replace carpets or hard floors, I want to do anyway. I would not recommend the version of the wind tunnel U8351 unless you can get a * really * much about it.

The self cleaning HEPA filter Does not work. After HAVING this product for about a month I Had to use my shop vacuum to clean out the filter. After two months the gear box failed and Had To Be Replaced (Covered Under warranty) goal I Was Without a vacuum for a few "weeks. After That I was very Careful and Used my shop vacuum to clean out the HEPA filter after every 2 uses. It Is That You Have to ridiculous your vacuum vacuum When You 're finished with it. After the warranty expired the gear box broke again rendering useless the vacuum. R rDo not waste your money on this product UNLESS you like frustration.

Whatever you do don 't buy this piece of shit. RNever in my 50 years I've been disappointed with a na " important" purchase. Almost immediately after the machine sans problems started new series. The void has been-oz warranty service and fewer spectators Since the warranty has expired. This t doesn 'include the many times I ' I had to take it apart to clean it enough to run, albeit minimally. Not only does the vacuum break regularly and poor performance is a classic example of inferior design. RMany of the features working not only don t 'as expected are actually a detriment to the unit. For example, the so-called self-cleaning filter, in fact, I do not have clean enough and causing obstructions Over time the engine fails. This error makes the end so clogged filter and to reduce the cleaning power to zero. This malfunction causes the dust and dirt to accumulate ALL also the whole machine. The system requires no bag too frequent " heavy" cleaning. If I do not t 'Air Compressor Series I don ' t know how to ever get clean. The "live " blocking system tool easily and the brush attachment will not rotate about the lack of suction. The last failure is the on / off.

If all the reviews Other unconvincing 't you do not buy this product Maybe this one. I had my Hoover for seven months before I experienced the infamous malfunction of the filter self-cleaning HEPA. This should be a record based on other reviews. Even after cleaning and clearing of PET hair and other debris that accumulated behind the filter never run again which would render the vacuum. I researched local service centers to find the location curateur was 30 miles away and without local vacuum cleaner repair shops would be under warranty, not Hoover 'fault effect is certainly not convenient. The self-cleaning feature was the selling point as our wind tunnel, others with a HEPA filter to clean removable was confusing and required a second vacuum to clean the filter of another $ 40 or replace the filter entirely. I should have returned this vacuum (the new U8351-900) after the first use as a dust and Debis everywhere When the container is removed for emptying. Often, the Hand Held Eureka was used to clean up the mess. Fortunately, the Lowe's where I bought the vacuum gave me a full refund (Even after seven months) and since I have bought a Dyson. I may have paid a little more to the objectives of Dyson Lowes was grateful to refund $ 259 garbage Hoover. Fortunately, it sounds as if Hoover was discontinued this model. I wish I could have given this item 0 stars, one star is the sort order minimum.

I wont even give this piece of garbage stars, But Do To the right of this review. Was serviced Already ounces, Worked great for a day. Wow, all this for 239.00 at CC. There should be a class-action lawsuit to give these owners a part of something rubbish. I will never buy another Hoover product again. How in the name of the Lord 'Can you give this 5 stars. Do you use the product?

O HEPA Self "clean t filter isn 'It will carry up and candy, then the drive mechanism and gears strip. This happened in less than 15 months. Before and three months, the unit will not start when the circuit board died. Repair was very slow, why not supply Hoover got the circuit board. Rother resources to irritate - Unit was unstable and tools does not stand still. Dirt narrow passageways to roll Next jammed jammed. detachment of the hose will not stand. RI would avoid this Hoover WindTunnel bagless and especially those that have the rotating drums with HEPA filters "self cleaning" feature. I will not buy another Hoover.

I really wanted to like this vacuum. Excellent, has incredible suction and all the great features really work well. However, I took back after using two times and now have a Eureka Boss. Like most of the other reviewers, I soon discovered That Fell large number of HEPA filter dust down when empty plastic container that catches all the dirt, hair and dust and when I restart the computer, the dust was blowing all over the room. Very poor technique on the instrument if not useful. I Would Have Thought now, Hoover could get a message: (

This is the biggest, most Worthless, piece of junk I have ever purchased! RThe "SELF CLEANING " Hepa filter does not self clean. Ri 've had the vacuum for 6 months now and have had to take it apart twice to clean it out. rThe Hepa filter is supposed to rotate, after it gets Jammed up, the motor strips out the gear going to the engine. rThe owners manual says to take to a repair shop authorized time in the filter stops rotating . This would be approximately once every three days or 12 uses. RThe good news is the built in indicator to let you know when the filter has stopped turning. It is a lovely burnt electrical smell Struggles as the engine to spin the nylon gear around the axle.

This should be the biggest piece of junk on the market. Maybe it would be better suited as a boat anchor (Weigh as much) RThe Suction power. On the handle is completely absent. Filter is clogged with dirt that does not make it to the bottom of the dirt cup. I've never gotten to the point where the cup full of dirt, before I had to stop to unclog the filter. Then there is the HEPA filter. This was clogged with hair and dust. Try cleaning it and getting ready to take a pile of dirt from your floor. I read the manual and it says that the HEPA filter needs to be cleaned by qualified repair facility there. I just bought this two weeks ago RIT did not! Decent job on carpets, but far blow the dust / dirt on the wooden floor before getting a chance to suck it. If you have to lift it up or down stairs, forget it. Its gotta weigh 25 pounds and feels like 50 lbs. Save your money and your time. Buying a better vaccine. Hoover really dropped the ball on this one. I probably will never buy another Hoover product again. I will take this rubbish back (Sam 's Club), but I do stupid things and get rid of the box.

I also had to get my Windtunnel 2 to repair a clogged filter in the spring was broken soon after purchase and I waited FOUR weeks to get it back. When calling the customer service the second time that someone spoke to me did not sense at all and was argumentative Pls I told him that still clogs the filter and the dirt and mess I get from emptying the thing is so disgusting that the unit holes are to be cleaned before put it all back together again. emptying is to make out in the garden or at home must be cleaned again in the dirt that falls out on to the unit everywhere and fine dust in the hands of the water. THIS HEALTH 'hazard. I do not see anything so digusting or anything used in my life empty. Hoover must GO BACK IN ON THIS ONE Board drawing. I thought I would get a great new cleaner Carpets for my nice new but I got a piece of CR-P for about $ 300.00 for my nice new Carpets. The service rep told me it 's new Carpets Since I have told him it Happens woodern also my floor. I agree there should be a recall on it and Hoover's work should have the decency to do it to keep customers happy and to get more customers back. It 's another customer who bought Hoover WANT NOT need again and recommend it to my friends either.
