I really love this Vacuum cleaner. It 's heavy but I believe That ' s what makes it so good. The removable canister is great for cleaning the Stairs or your car. The pet eraser attachment works great on pet hair. I have had to take the attachment appart a couple of time Because the gears got messed up with all the hair inside. You have to clean it out Sometimes. The cord is nice and the log but twists up a lot and gets wrapped around Things to Easily. R rOtherwise great product.

I was to spend months in the air about weather to $ 500 for a Dyson Animal or simply buy a pet vacuum. I really, really wanted a Dyson, but in this economy and our lifestyle, I simply imagine that does not spend much money for a vacuum. I dont care, it 's made by. So I bought this vacuum Bissell pet and I am very satisfied. Raised it well to the hair. I have 4 English Mastiff, which shed a lot! I found that this vacumm Up Date to the hair, and a lot of dander and dirt from the carpet. At the end of the day, a vacuum will be a vacumm. The man-made plastic and know they are bound to break and not continuing to collect hair for many, many uses. Fortunately for me, where I bought, it has a lifetime warranty is better than any Dyson What! R rI like the fact that the cable comes from the page. RI Like That comes from the canister. RNote to take a hard up and down stairs. RI as the new power

Bought this vacuum from a big box retailer two months in August I Was in a Hurry and Desperate for a vacuum as my old Sears Died HAD one on me. This vac Seem to be the sturdiest one on the showroom floor. And should 'is Closer Than Looked at it I did - this is a purchase I regret. R rWhat I liked about it on first Inspection: r r-The canister section reprints from the body, Creating Almost the same effect as a canister vacuum. This is Handy in case you want to clean stairs, rags, etc r-Roller Carpet height Adjustment for Different Heights r-Weight of the vacuum cleaning Means Deeper is possible r-Price was nice Compared to the selection available I Had r rWhy nice it Seemed the first FEW times I should be it: r r-Very strong suction, as it fart pull dog hair and cat litter from my medium-thick carpet with no sweat r-The roller self-Shutoff where Handy Upright position is a feature to keep from running holes Into your carpet r-Attachments are handily Placed r rWhy I hate this vacuum: r rWhat and failed to notice in the store, Was how the reprints from the dust canister body. In most Other Upright bagless vacuum models, unlock the canister and the whole thing out LIFTS - dust, grit, and Usually the filter. Some really bright designer Bissell THIS particular canister Decided That would unlock and split from the MIDDLE. Check out the available stock images above - the one on the end - to Clearly understand. The HEPA filter is at the top of the canister, above the split, and a tiny Dinky 2cup sized cup is below-the split. Upon emptying the canister for the first time, I Was assault with a pile of carpet / fart hair, dust, and particulate As It Fell from above the break point. Now I 'm Filthy, Filthy is the vacuum, the floor beneath the vacuum is Filthy, and the air is full of all the allergens I Was hoping to trap. What a mess. R rund No Circumstances should I need to break out my Shop-Vac to clean my House-Vac. However, That 's Exactly What I found myself HAVING to do. Yes, I 'm aware if I follow the "empty at this line " guidelines, the mess Probably won ' t be as much of an issue. However, I 'm Not Going to spend every 5 minutes running to and from the waste bin emptying the cup Dinky. (I really did at run time how long it took to son to That line.) The canister design is a Hideous Oversight and Completely ruins the Usefulness of this vacuum any more Than for occasional cleaning.

So, here are my stats. Stay-at-home dad with a labrador 2 years and loves the shed. Our old upright vacuum cleaner was the real year. Even after vacuum cleaner with my old vac, there was still Lingering pet hair. Not so with the Bissell. This vaccuum made me realize how bad my other was empty. It 'awesome! So, here 's What I really like it. R rGreat suction is taken 'all my old t. Empty didn 'It has been redefined as meaning to clean my carpet. I can 't say enough. My carpets look clean Finally, even up close. R rQuieter compared to other empty-Some people complain about noise. Ltr empty people! Voids are noisy. This is less noisy my old vacuum and I am very happy about that. R rRemovable joins brush the stairs! There's nothing worse than trying to drag a group clunky vertical up and down the stairs. The bissel makes it easy and you don 't get any posting half-power. You can get all the power of the vacuum is not surprising too heavy and much less awkward. Your back will thank you for this. In addition, the rotating head for cleaning stairs pet. Other empty, you should try to drive with a pet hair brush not rotating. The bissel has rubber teeth and a rotating brush. Farewell animal hair! R rBagless Another thing, you don 't have to buy and throw in a landfill. I love the bagless. Some people complain of having to empty the trash regularly. Yes, you must arrive early. The first time out, I had a high traffic area and I had to empty after a few sweeps. There are, however, this is another sign of how this empty lot better is my last. Celebrate all that is garbage from your carpet. It was normal day 't have to empty each room pair. Do not despair. R rAnother useful feature is that the rotor stops when the column is blank so you 're not burn the brushes and belts. R rIMHO could hardly design a better vacuum and at this price, we know very '. If you have pets Excellent.

This vacuum does not pick up anything! It worked for maybe a month or two, and it was. Now, if there is no butcher and a clean filter, this custom, even picking up dirt visible than I can move my foot! Total waste of money!

At first we thought that we have an agreement and Do not 't have to spend the money on the Dyson. Well after a few "months the problems started. The vacuum is clogged and needs cleaning at least every other use more or less. Then, the filters also needs cleaning is incredibly complicated. With two Newfoundlands this vacuum just does not t 'it. Finally, in putting in and bought the Dyson. Only the first test in vacuum with the bevel or "I tried to Dyson. ... Taken the dyson Gross has the tone of things Bissel " pet hair eraser" you missed and I mean a lot. real pet hair AThe atttachment draft also worked perhaps only the first 4-5 was used morning and now is useless, since they have renounced their removal and again. The departure of the idea is not bad aim, hose and the wire is cut so that 's no sense for anything but a clean car. Rall in all, I would have bought Dyson, first, and not wasted my money on something that only works for some "months before having major problems.

What a piece of garbage. Wish I could go back in time and not buy this vacuum ... I 'd do it in a second.

I have been suspicious of my 6 years of age gap quite some time now and was tired of trying to find the right bags and feel that was out of the bags after each vacuum switch. I was attracted to this because the can take off and Bissell bagless system. After reading more positive than negative reviews I went for it! I'm so glad I did! I gave him a test drive after I brought it home and was amazed at the amount of things that got it! And I with my old vacuum cleaner yesterday! I am sure that now my carpets and stairs and floors are clean! Definitely worth it and the "no price" t out of this world, either!

I love this vacuum. My plainte only does the tube attachment may be a little difficult to remove from the machine. Despite the price, it is a great buy. Actually I had borrowed from a friend $ 500 Dyson vacuum up the pet hair from my carpet and did good work, a week after goal, "" When I vacuumed For the first time that I was disgusted with the amount Bissell etc. of hair. This guy got this little bad. I had to clean the box after I finish my living room. I had gone a long period of time between when I Dyson vacuum cleaner with it and didn 't get half. Actually, I can put my eye down to my carpet and not see "any hair. I don 't think I ' ve never been able to say that with any empty Other. R rif You dogs have and have carpet, this vacuum is for you. However, if you don 't be sure and clean the canister bagless When It ' s full all the time and the machine starts to lose suction that 's your fault .

We absolutely LOVE this vacuum! I 'm baffled by some of the negative reviews. Maybe those people got a lemon? Ours works amazingly well. It has incredible suction, and picks up debris, hair, and dust like nobody 's business. The debris container needs to be cleaned regularly (usually empty it twice and each time I vacuum my 2500 sf. Man), but wow! I can never believe how much stuff I get off every time I vacuum my floors! I vacuum my entire house every single week ... and vac spot regularly throughout each week. So far, no spinning brush / Suction problems whatsoever. Just make sure you keep the debris cleaned Canister. My neighbor borrowed it when she was moving, and COULDN 't rave about it enough! She wants to go buy one for herself!

If You Have Pets (Gold Even If You Don 't): And my lover Bissell Lift Off Pet Hair vacuum. Y 'has had it for over a year now and it beats out my Girlfriend Still ' s Pet Vac Dyson for about one quarter the price, (we live very close by and did test - she vacuum her carpet (she has 3 dogs and 4 ed) with the Dyson, Then I went over it with my Bissell and picked up a lot HERS missed. Then we did the same test in reverse, and the Dyson didn 't get enough to bother Even emptying the dirt cup When Used After the first go round with the Bissell.) Better Plus it has features to boot. For example, it solves the the canister vs. Upright problem by Having a detachable canister - just press the button and you-can take the canister (and Hose / attachments) to do the stairs, drapery, hard-to-reach areas, etc. Trying to lug my old Upright Every FEW steps up with the Hose attached to it Was a nightmare, as the Upright Was WIDER Than the steps, sound I Had to do a balancing act with the vac Against my leg and the Hose in the other. It is very easy to attach the Hose - one easy step, click to detach the canister and you 're ready to go. R Ryou turn on the power / suction with one switch and the Beater Another Brush with - this makes it great for vacuuming bare floors (beats Brush off). It 's Always Been frustration trying to go over a linoleum floor with an Upright - Brush Beater throws the tiny pieces all over the room. This is Very Handy When doing a "quick sweep of the house as you turn the dog Easily Beater Brush on and off as you go from room to room. R do you Conveniently Placed attachments, They are stable on board room as you move from room to, But are easy to access and easy to use. The small Beater Brush (for use with the Hose) works great - and use it all the time and Have Never Had a problem with it. I do wish There Was an optional larger size available Beater Brush Hose attachment as I Could use it for areas / throw rugs That are too small / lightweight to use the Upright, But a bit large to go over with the small Beater Brush included (although this size is perfect for the stairs and furniture). R rthe dirt canister is extremely easy to empty - just flip the "lock " and pull it out like a draw, empty, and replace. My last bagless Was a mess to empty - It Was Difficult to remove, the main filter inside the canister Was, sound You Had to twist, Take That out over a large trash Because the dirt and dog hair out flesh with it, plug it Several times, use a toothbrush to get dirt in little out of the holes, reach inside and pull out hair, etc. That was stuck in it, Then empty the canister itself. Repositioning the filter inside the canister Was a pain, and it Was a pain to get the thing back Into the vacuum eleven o'clock reassemble. There Are No wonder people say They hate using WHO bagless vacs! But this one will change your mind, No Doubt. R rthe filters in the vacuum are Numerous (Including HEPA Filtration) and are as easy to remove clean (replace gold) as the dirt canister. A bonus is That There is an indicator That turns from green to Slowly network to Indicate When it is time to clean the inner filters. R rit Apparent Seems that (finally) a vacuum designed by someone Who Was Actually use a vacuum. I love this vacuum and would recommend it to Anyone. R rand final one big plus for animal lovers - part of the purchase price goes to Petfinder.com and Other Organizations rescue and animal welfare, sound Can you clean up after Fido and Fluffy gold know you 're helping at the animal rescue same time. R Ronas caveat - I Do not have years bare wood floors, sound my bare floors above statements for apples only to my experience on linoleum and tile floors. R r [...]

There are so many things I don 't like about the vacuum I don ' t know where to start. It was heavy. It 's small and attachments are made cheap. I ordered a separate bare floor attachment for my floor but I still BA bent over it and use the tube collapses when I put pressure on it. And because the hose is too short to, I end up pulling over to vacuum the entire floor. It was dirty and dust accumulates all out of it. I usually end up vacuuming out the vacuum. When you change the filter, do it outside. As far as canister lifting off, they'd just put it on wheels and can I just use it as a real vacuum canister. I guess I will end up buying another one vacuum because it is almost useless to me but I won 't get a Bissell again. My other vacuum has lasted at least 10 years. My one star is for the engine. It has fantastic suction. Its so good that it ate the binding off my carpet!

If there were negative stars, this vacuum would be on that side of 0. It 's that bad.

We got this vacuum because our other vacuum wasn 't cutting it anymore ... with having a 1 year old and with 2 cats, 2 dogs and living on a 16 acre farm we needed a vacuum that would hold up to the task. Have you tried it it is up to the task ... it 's amazing! We usually vacuum every other day and I am constantly amaze at the amount of hair and dirt from the carpet PULL IT. My husband just got done vacuuming and said "this is a really good vacuum '.

I just bought this vacuum a few weeks ago. I had an old hand me down What I had empty since the college was nothing more cleaning, so this was my first purchase empty. I originally wanted a Dyson because I used my s mom and I heard rave reviews but these t n 'justify spending $ 500 vacuum f n ' so I picked this up at the Target for about $ 170. It was a great void and I am very happy with my purchase. We got what he said because he takes care of pet hair, and with three dogs and a cat We have a lot of pet hair. This thing works like a charm and tons and tons of hair pulling our carpets. What surprised me the amount of dirt was also picked. Some reviews I read say that sucking Lacks and shoes, but after two weeks and a cover of one value of animal hair Being sucked through it, I have not experienced this. The filters are nice in that they can be cleaned except for " engine post" filter would be replaced but I can 't imagine it would need replaced often. The feature has been off for cleaning, milestones and ceilings, and the thing is light enough to carry with you as you clean up (unless you 's a wuss). The only downside I can think of is the dust is a bit small, but I am still able to clean the entire main floor of my average sized home before having to empty it. Overall, this is really worth the money and I really can 't imagine a Dyson is worth the extra $ 320. R rPROS r r * Cleans thoroughly, seems to have lots of dirt at the bottom of r r * Ideal for pet hair * Light r * "Remove " is great r r * Cleanable filters * Reasonably prices r RCON: r * r Small bin rUPDATE: After about five months of owning this vacuum, I still stand by that opinion. He has obstructed or not in any way, even cleaning the carpet with panache, and it is great and empty. The only thing I would add is I "Cons" This list is the filters and brush rotates Need cleaned every week if you use the vacuum several times a week, but the two filters and the cleaning brush lasts about 15 minutes in total. It is an impressive void.

My husband bought this vacuum to me so that I do not t 'Should we erect an old Performing up and down stairs every time I vacuumed the house. In the past, I've Eurekas owned, and this is my first Bissell. I now have been owned for one year, and the whole, he is a decent product, especially for the price. R rWhen come to wake up pet hair, my house a few vacuums Challenge It can manage - with three dogs and two indoor cats, keeping my hair-free rug is a task that is impossible. In our house, the main brushes on the vacuum is clogged with pet hair With Every single use, which is a bit of pain (because it is Said Being a vacuum designed for pets), but quite easy to clean by vacuum put back on ITS and pick out hair . Small attachments that come with the vacuum (which is designed for cleaning stairs and furniture), while a good idea, Easy Being too tangled and NOT "nearly so easy to clean in October, we stopped working in six months, and after we took it apart and cleaned it, will continue to stop work on a regular basis. I m 'It says this is a common problem. R rStill , suction is decent - about what you expect for under $ 200 models, and I liked some filters and portable and cleaned the dust bin. hose is nice and flexible, and aspects of the lift-off vacuum is very suitable, because the ice-complete vacuum is very heavy. If you are looking for cheap vacuum that will last several years and then Need Changing, this vacuum is a good choice , and Will Probably you get your money 's worth.

I bought this vacuum a year ago and it has the store was about 4 times now. We have almost as much as we paid for repairs! We also had to fix it himself on many occasions. It Is not able to handle our fur and the canister is very small. It clogs and even the guy we always said it brought in for repair, it was not worth the purchase. I am now looking for a Dyson to see if this works. All that said, I have 4 animals and I vacuum every day, but I still think that this is not a good product. I have always used Hoover in the past and I found it much better, I thought I 'd try it out once, but unfortunately without success.

After our new Dirt Devil Brand failed us big time, I did a little research and decided on the Bissell Since it is for pets and it Was our price range. I have 10 cats and a dog and Bissell would have been great at picking up all the pet hair. We just vacuum 11 weeks and, wow, every week vac picks up a lot of pet hair and dirt, We Have had it for at least five months and it still hasn 't lost any power suction. Our unlikable Dirt Devil In Which We returned a month of purchase, this vacuum is not overheat or stop suddenly, it just keeps going. There were only Two Reasons Why It Does not vacuum all get five stars, 1) socks, I think, is very short, and 2) Some times the pet hair gets stuck in the upper parts and clean it, while easy, can get a bit messy.

I ve 'HAD this vaccine for more than six months and large. Works great on carpets, rugs of all kinds, and hardwood floors. heavy t isn vaccine ', it ' s bagless, and attachments Was great suction.

I read all the reviews prior to purchase and was skeptical, I anticipate disappointment. But I am so glad I bought this vacuum cleaner because it is absolutely phenomenal! This is a long review, but read it, it 's worth it. R RI should note that: A-We have five indoor cats, and RB-this vacuum was a replacement for the Consumer Reports most highly rated Kenmore Progressive vacuum that inexplicably burst into flames. R RI can not Fathom how Consumer Reports rated this less favorably as it is clearly superior product. Cleanse it exponentially better than the Kenmore Progressive, Maneuvers more easily and is less than half the price of the Kenmore. Defective naysayers must have purchased a unit, because I am unable to find fault in this vacuum. The only thing that 's even minutely negative is the placement of the attachments-they ' re a little fiddly to get on and off, but 11 you use them, you just won 't care because they are brilliant! R RWE have almost brand new carpet, the Kenmore I thought I was doing a reasonable job until I used the Bissell for the first time and saw what the missed in the Kenmore Canister, GROSS! Not any more though. Every time I use the Bissell, the carpet looks a little better and the house smells even cleaner. A dear friend who is horribly allergic to cats is even able to eat inside for a drink, now! She COULDN 't do that before when I used the Kenmore. R rit 's RELAVIS also to note since I noticed it was an area of contention with other reviewers is that most quality Upright vacuum cleaners Weigh around the 20lb mark, this one is no different, so if you want a lightweight vacuum, either start working out, buy an Oreck or put in hard surface flooring, because I have never used a vacuum that weighed less than a bowling ball. That being said, I still have no problems picking up this thing compared to most other vacuum I 'voice used. R rThe bottom line, if you buy this vacuum and aren 't the happy as I, an anal-retentive, borderline OCD clean freak, am with it, you must have bought the wrong model or a Defective unit. I can not say enough wonderful things about how this vacuum cleaning revolutionized my daily routine. Buy it now. Nuff said.

I bought it and the first week was great. The longer you use, however, is the aspiration gets worse. Even when you clean the filters (all) ITS remain poor. Sucking on mine was so bad wouldn 'or even turn the brush for pets. Finally took him aside to clean the tank tube to the hose and it worked a little better, but there was not much there!?! Not sure why that worked. Besides, I like the mess when emptying the tank plus it has almost nothing. Go with the bag or if you are lucky and get the building central vacuum! You won 't regret it.

We've had this vacuum for six months, with a black cat that sheds hair everywhere, I have long hair, and my husband brings home metal chips in clothes with him every day. None of this is a problem for this vacuum. The pet hair brush does a wonderful job on the furniture. The floor surface of adjustable height is a great feature. I love that you can rotate the brush to the floor and off. The filters are very easy to clean, and when we do, the suction is as good as the first day out of the box (We've had to do it twice today). We used this vacuum every week, and more than one place that has carpet, and we do the sofa, chair and blanket too, so he sees a bit of use. The belts were kept well - but when I clean the filters, I also clean the belts around They had to make sure don 't get hung up (there are only two belts, one for the scrub brush, and one for the animal pet hair brush). The box is easy to empty and put back, and cleaning the filters and belts only takes about 20 minutes (not including drying time of the filters - I do the two foam filters). It's very confusing - but do it outside or in a certain tile floor before you 're going to mop rthe only disadvantages of this vacuum. - First, the tool Upholstery combo is about the most useless I 'ever seen - just use the hair brush pet. Secondly, extending the hose, the vacuum, but isn t 'Patrolwoman weighted at the bottom, so if you try to pull him away from the vacuum tip (both inside and out when the base). The third thing is that it runs hot, so if you're cleaning, make sure you do not 're holding the back of it near your right leg (like when doing the stairs or curtains). ROtherwise, a good vacuum, especially for the price.

This is the best vacum I have ever owned. Cleans impressive, very powerful suction, and you can remove the canister to clean ceiling fans and Hard to Reach Areas. IT is power itself off if dirty filter to prevent overheating and engine damage which is like my last Vacum dead. You can remove and clean every part is the vacum including filters and tanks. Simply the best vacum is the market for the price.

I have a golden retriever who shed like nobody business ', and after reading the reviews for this product I Decided to get this vacuum. This fact Is the picture a golden retriever in the box - how can I be "wrong R? RWEL, FOURTH time I used a brush vacuum locks, stops playing, and so warm that the axis of the belt melted and broke. Do a little searching online and I Found It then this is a common problem. Apparently it Is easy for dust / hair into the jam and brush to allow the ball bearings to rotate it. I Called and Was Told That cette Bissell Is a "wear and tear " problem (I guess this IS Brush Designed to last only use OVEN), But That THEY will replace the brush and the belt has a concession for me ONCE. They Said if it ever happened again, I've bought for the belt and brush from their website (around $ 30 total). When Researching the problem I found a website that one person WHERE Said Loved roller jammed up every 3-4 months R ri don. T 'know about you, the purpose of spending $ 30 every three months to have spare parts for $ 160 seems a bit ridiculous to vacuum me. We recommend you save your money for a year and get a Dyson.

We bought it in November of 2005 and 90 days before roller should be replaced. It was clean When it works well, however we use it about eleven months, so that we Means in the 15th or so using it and it just gave the perfect life. I would say stay away from this thing dog unless you buy it for $ 30 or less.
