Knowing what I know now, I would buy this version of the Roomba. It does a good job of cleaning the floors (both wood and carpet) that contains a fair amount of dog hair (2 big dogs at home), but if the brushes stop turning, What will be done if clean it thoroughly after use almost all normal operating conditions and after each use if you have pets with long hair, you have to replace the whole unit. Yes, you have to replace the whole unit. This version does not have a removable and replaceable head, so if the brushes stop spinning (ours lasted about ~ 3 months), then you have to buy a new vacuum. He also had to deal with a battery that wouldn 't keep his post, but representatives of CS at iRobot are very friendly and very helpful and sent us a quick replacement without any hassle. That said, pony and get one of the new models that allow for replacement parts - I mean, that can support the purchase of a disposable vacuum?!

After seeing two Roombas in action while visiting my cousin 's family during Thanksgiving (which have one for every floor of their house), I purchased the basic model for Christmas, re-produced for about $ 60. Even buying remanufactured items is always at risk, the Roomba has been excellent! For 5 days, was used in the same house twice a week, and he is still going strong! The filter is very efficient, and when the Roomba is done, the filter is full of particles captured! I highly recommend this cool little gadget!

battery died after 10 usages and the warranty expired. Rwon 't buy remanufactured roomba like any other. battery is a complete waste.

After four months of use, the engine broke. After completing officer iRobot 's instructions to the unit was returned to me without a battery. Not only do I have to pay for shipping the broken unit back to the company they now expect me to pay $ 45 for a new battery. It is a waste of money and continue to be a waste of money. Buyer beware

I bought a refurb unit as an X-mas gift for my mother. He did not use it very much it just sits around. It is quite strong and not do a very good job of vacuuming. When it goes from a hard floor with carpeting or vice versa it dumps a bunch of dirt.

The first Roomba would not keep the dust bin ... IRobot promptly replaced the bin ... Realized that he united the iRobot contacted and they immediately replaced the entire unit. RDAs little robot works great!

I was intrigued by the idea of Roomba, but t he was' not until I sold the Scooba, which is great for tile and hardwood. I wanted to try the low-end model and I the Red remanufactured into a sale on Friday. The Roomba is a great idea and a great design - I had high hopes that would work under the dog hair in my house and a good performance in this regard. I bought this for my parents who aren t able to clean They used exactly like '. They were simply amazed to see how this vacuum and it picks up all the crises in tight spaces. They have a cup of tea and a toy pom chiahuau (sp?) And puppies aren 't just as happy with it LOL. Noisy as it is, they can not understand what this gadget is small by their terrority Roming =)

We were always home vacuuming or very loose and I was looking for iRobot Roomba for quite some time. So when I saw this on sale for around 100 ~ iRobot Roomba, I bought one just to try it. I am very happy with my purchase and beyond my expectation that goes beyond. In fact, I'm buying a second iRobot Roomba 580 n now that I can program my house cleaning. It does clean very well and can go "in bed ou autres difficult to clean places. It also cleans hard surfaces very well. Suprisingly this little vacuum was pretty big looking Pls I took it out of the Box. It is big and strong and a bit heavy but boy does it clean your house like a champ! All i had to do was charge it up and it was great! I just pressed the clean button and it cleaned the entire first floor (Almost 1000 sq ft) in one battery charge. Also WENT it up over my rugs from my hardwood with no issues, if it gets stuck it just spins around and fixes Itself and then continues it 's mission. I have cats with long hair too and it picks it up no problem and is very easy to clean the brushes and empty the dirt cup. I think the iRobot company has made me a customer for life! They have great customer service as well, the one i bought Remanufactured Died a week after I got it and the company replaced it for free, no questions asked. I would definitely recommmend this great product.

I loved my first Roomba until he dies. Purchased the re-conditioning works very well. I had to use the old battery. The battery that cam with the new Roomba doesn 't hold a charge very long.

Well I have had great luck in the past with refurbished iRobot Roombas but this one is a bum battery. It is only from the last 35-45 minutes. Owned since I have many of them I have learned all the tricks to get the maximum life out of one of the batteries but not this one. The unit cleans though so it's great to earn two stars from me.

I bought this product for my parents for Christmas. They asked me to return it because it kept getting caught up in their rugs in place and getting lost behind one of their couches. I decided to try it and found that it works ok in the square area with very few obsticals. It takes forever to clean the hallway, and it runs out of battery in the great room before it is covered all areas. I decided to go ahead and keep it for help it gives me in bed. It s kind 'like having a little kid Helping you chore. It helps a little, and I 'LL all the help I can get the Day.

I am very impressed with this refurbished Roomba! It is my 1st one and it works as Expected, but you still need to do a deep cleaning occasionally. Before Roomba vacuuming there was a stalemate and it would never get done at our house. Now the kids on their clean room in Hopes of Mr.Robot cleaning the floor!

I admit I was a bit skeptical about Roomba, so I waited until now to buy one. I could not t 'let the case for a reconstructed and read all the reviews of other key. After one month of use, I 'm thinking of buying a second for humanity on the floor. In my opinion this is the best advice we can give a product. Ok, the robot is pretty cool ... but I'm having problems feeding. I followed the instructions, but the battery was never a full charge. Or perhaps this is a refurb battery has been used and had not been loaded properly. You have to empty the machine almost every time you use it (put a trash can near the camera and it is not too big a deal). Overall, I'm not sorry I bought it.

I really like the robot. Clean well and not missing much. My son has stolen to clean his apartment in college (this should be an indication of how well they enjoyed in our house).

I love this vacuum! I never thought I would own but my parents had one and once I saw a very good job that I do not have to have one too. And, even though I ordered the basic model of the red because of the price, I received a better next step in the quality and features of the Amazon model. I'm not one to run the vacuum cleaner, maybe three times a year so that the Roomba has worked cut out and not listen to advice Roomba 'to do a thorough cleaning of the first I have to empty the trash and clean the filter every 10 minutes but it's better for me than the hand cleaner.
