Reviews

Before buying this product I reviewed several others. Originally I intended to purchase another similar product which is running infomercials on TV recently. The customer reviews are not very good for the product, thus I opted for one, despite the lack of the ability of Steaming Britain 'separate and portable. R rThe reliable consumer ratings is better so I went with that. I was quite pleased. The products came quickly, was very easy to pit together (2 screws) and worked fine ever since. The micro-pads are easily hand-washed up on a machine wash is required. Extra points for including grommet for more reliable for the evaporation of gasoline (where it snaps in) and an additional pad microphone. Ribbons, kudos for having a handle on the face of the unit for easy pick-up and regulatory ... Also great to see aunts available for rather long (thankfully) AC cord. R rOverall, and good product does what it claims to do!

After steam mops Researching on the Internet I Decide on the Steamboy, (and never know what good sound Out There Because of many positive & negative remarks on the same product) Well I just got my Steamboy, couldnâ 't wait to use it. After putting together sound Which Was it easy, and filled it up and started cleaning my kitchen floor. I Found That It Was remove hard to push around, Whenever I pulled it backwards Towards me, Kept lifting the front end off of the floor, sound and ended up HAVING to use it with the swivel head to the side. Also Y Kept waiting to see Some steam coming out, never did see it But I Could hear it, and did eat clean the floor, But it left it remove wet. The covers do fit tight enough Not Kept as moving it back & fourth as I Moped, and I pulled the string to Tighten it as hard as I Could get it to go. And ended up using two covers to steam my floor and a cover to wipe up the water it must of left. All in all I ended up with a clean floor & a bad back Ache. Think I 'll send this back and try the shark.

This thing is just a toy. Steam cleaning is a good idea, but the product water leaks everywhere. I do not recommend this product to anyone. Perhaps hate.lol great gift for neighbors.

INITIALLY I Gave this a positive review on Amazon but i must retract it. I purchased the Steamboy in June of '07 and several months ago it broke. The bottom plastic triangle screws attach the WHERE part shattered. I don 't Think That Was the plastic made to withstand the heat That produces the mop and broke after about 2 1 / 2 years of using it. I don 't think this is acceptable for the price of the product! Also I found the length of the cord to Be an annoyance. R wasn 't Able to get very far in cleaning Until I Had to unplug and move it and then wait for it to Be ready to steam again. I recently bought the Shark steam mop and Have Been happy with it. I would never buy another Steamboy, the concept Was the One But the good product quality is shabby and there are better products Out There. This one is not like the name says Reliable! Please don 't waste your money.

Not So " reliable". R Rémy wife and I enjoyed plans steam for about 2 1 / 2 years, when suddenly about 2 weeks ago (Jan/2010), the bottom of the broom housing cracked and a piece of it Fell free. This is the part that is covered by the cloth triangle, which directs the steam. R Ruponen I Found Survey which had become so fragile plastic eggshell, I could put my thumb right through it. What the .... ! Well, this is just terrible, and There Goes My MOP $ 100, plus $ 25 in additional ground support. I 'm terribly disappointed. Didn 't consider that the plastic is heat resistant up to 210 m degrees Fahrenheit? R rI 'intention to try and see if I can get from their homes to lower the replacement. 5 screws and re-install the steam vent on the bottom should do it, Phillips Being the only tool necessary. I hope, otherwise it 's Back to the MOP-bucket. R rUpdate 23/04/2010 rWell , the lower unit plus shipping would be about $ 30 + dollars, so it didn t 'seem worth it. We 've Been Given to a steaming-happy.

I floor in my kitchen and foyer. It 's really great to have a product that uses steam to clean. I was very happy with the way the floor looked after you finish cleaning. It took a while for me to finish the job of two to information that would not stay on the cover. I finally used three large safety pins to collect in the corners and the lid to hold it in place. Although the manufacturer to get a better design.

I bought this mop in mid 2007 and I loved it - note the past tense. R rit all made as scheduled, did not leave residual clean the floor, etc.. R rI paid about $ 100 at the time, but it seemed like a good deal time to overcome the cleaning I wanted. R rin January 2010, I was using a mop and about half the work, the lower deck of the triangular head catastrophically broke about 20 pieces. R rI Contacted confidence to let them know about it and see if they would replace the mop. I told them I loved the mop. They replied that the mop was out of warranty - what I knew. R RSO if you love to spend about $ 100 for something that lasts about two and half years and then fail catastrophically, go ahead and spend your money. R RLIKE I said, I loved the mop - while it lasted.

In theory, then this is a great idea however the plastic pad is used to put on the head of the mop is saturated by the steam almost immediately. You are simply pushing a dirty wet rag on the rest of the floor. After 5 or more uses careful mop cette leaks now am and is essentially worthless. Don t waste 'your money.

Typically I don 't review products, But I really love this little mop. I Have Been using it for about 4 months now. We had Housekeepers Until I Went on maternity leave for Our second baby. I Decided to try out one of These to make my life easier. My Housekeepers mopped Every Week, But Which was nice to remove residue left on my floors. We Bought this and tried it out a Few Days After It Was mopped. It was amazing how much grime meat off of the floors. It Took A Few moppings to get to a point where i felt Had we removed all of the residues from the cleaning products. I did a lot of online shopping Before Purchasing this item s, which I got at a local store. I can 't Say That This One Is Better Than The Others in this price range, pero for the money I am very satisfied. I Thought About the commercial level products, pero They are so pricey and I really didn 't want to lug around a canister. The purpose of this WAS to make cutting easier and faster for mopping me. I can 't Say That it is as good as the commercial Variety, But It Certainly Is Better Than the littany of mops That We Have tried. We Have hardwood, softwood, tile and carpets. Our kitchen tile is Heavily textured and I feel That this mop does a fine job getting Into the crevices, But The Reality Is That nothing works as well as a scrub brush. I Have Used it to spot clean carpets. It does fine and gets us by Until I can get a rug cleaner in. It really is an easy product to use, gets great Into the corners (I like the triangular head), and leaves the floors clean and Not sticky. I live in the cold, dry north and WAS Told That I Would Never Be Able to generate enough steam in the winter, But so far I don 't have any problems. I have a pretty big dog house and mop all of my hard flooring Surfaces with one tank of water (I think it is about a liter). I know Said That Some reviewers mop the pools of water left on the floors. I hold the trigger the Entire time and while the floor is wet, There aren 't pools and it still dries very Quickly and water it is still less Than you get with a regular mop. I really like this little guy and think it works very well for the price point.

I bought this product for my wife and she loves him. It collects more dirt than any mop mop I have ever seen. Just when you thought your apartment was clean, mop again with the steam mop and you will be amazed how much dirt collects. I highly recommend this product to anyone who likes a clean. I say this MOP has little time to use a steam mop to become an expert user. If used correctly, can leave the floor wet / damp.

Order was easy, Steamboy Mop meat in just a few days. It was easy to assemble. RWE paradise 'is used only a few times, but seems to work as advertised. RWE had a couple of steam mops shark before, but they were breaking at the handle

(Update: This review was updated on 11/02/1909 after he compared the Bissell, and add notes on Ladybugg steam at the bottom, and then in 1911-1930 when I got to compare the SteamFast SF-140 and 12-7 to compare the steam Boy) r ri live in a neighborhood where every house is "green built certified" so that, with such certification, the builder of the houses built without carpet. RSB: 24 oz but only lasted 12 minutes of cleaning. I think that because of the accumulation. it also is made so that the water has to fall beyond the manipulation of heating elements, instead of flowing directly from a hot water tank to the ground at the base. Because of this you can develop calcium deposits in mop so you have to buy a water filter also for this mop and replace it every couple of months when there is an accumulation of what it means additional cost and quite possibly more repairs. We liked the Monster, shark, Envirosteamer, SteamFast Bissell and wine with two cleaning pads instead of one. R rBut the winner Elected unanimously by all of us as we want the mop steam mop to get someone for later? RThe Envirosteamer Eureka. He picked up the most dust, it was and the monster, but was less expensive, held most of the water, the steam hotter, so sanitized, and lasted three times longer with a fillup resevor water like the others, and had a rope, as long as the monster. BUT if you have it than I recommend the monster, because it has a carpet attachment that allows steam clean carpets and Super picked him up near the same amount of dirt as Envirosteamer Eureka, and was near same characteristics. .. although a little heavier but it has to last longer. It is more expensive, but to clean the surfaces of two I think I could make it worth it. Impressive to note that the Steamboy took almost twice as long to heat initially compared with Mops Others. R rUPDATE: The Haan Includes 2 just started with the mop pad according to the product description page. Not that this changes our view life from didn t work "as well and the parties were more tenuous, but it is amazing to note that this problem of not having enough cleaning pads has been resolved and is equal to the Mops Others. R rANOTHER UPDATE: 1. The Sharks came out with a new machine that has more water and has a longer cable, but still only heats water to 110 degrees so you won t 'disinfect or dispose of dirt trapped in this bath water "temperature. R rAnother update: No I 'tried it yet, but there was talk of an even better than the Eureka Envirosteamer mop but I can ' t afford it personally ... however, it 's worth mentioning if you can. It 's Called the Ladybug XL2300 and is a steam mop bottle. The water is heated to 298 degrees (Woah!) So 's super disinfectant but s ' more than a thousand dollars. It also comes with 6 towels. I didn 'to include it in my reviews, because I Haven ' you've ever tried and I wanted to include only Lampazos I personally tried but 's statistics is large enough that, despite it ' s in my price range, I thought d 'give it as a super disinfectant. R als : Don 't spend extra money buying pills for Eureka. I was in a hurry and used a kitchen towel dish ... rectangular type ... just clip on both ends. It worked as well or better ... because they are thinner so the steam penetrates quickly and thus reaches the ground warmer. However, it is still recommended only with thick buds that come with it for Super hardwood floors just to be safe. But the super hot steam towel penetrate the plate worked great on tile and hard floors. Also, you can turn both the towel and pads that come with it in the Eureka to duplicate the use ... when it gets dirty, just turn around and use the other side. I use several old tea towels with this, but I like the guy who just had a bit of texture, but not sewn squares on them ... They all work, but great. The same goes for the pads ... ..

I really, really wanted this steam cleaner love. I tried the annoying errors such as the fact that it falls over time, to overlook the water compartment leaks, and the line doesn 't catch on itself. I wanted to prove my family wrong. She said how stupid in another gimmicky product looked, and they were right. The idea of the steam cleaning is great, but this product is a huge disappointment. It leaves too much water behind you and you still way down on your hands and knees scrubbing you always have all the essentials on the floor. I'm fairly large and the steam cleaner hurts my back after mopping our small kitchen. I think I raise the product and pull it against me as not a trace of dirt. And all the hoopla about in corners and confined spaces, even forgotten. Get your sponge, there isn 't to mop a real improvement there. In the end, the amount of errors make me wish I had saved the money.

I had my Steamboy for over a year. I like the way it cleans thuogh I have some things I don 't care. I would use it more often, but it is heavier than I like, the cable may be longer, the tablets of Don 't get very tight, and it leaves the soil more moist than I ' d like . It seems to make my dick hard and tile cleaner and I use it, but I feel the floor getting wetter than I 'd like. These are the things that I 'd like to see improved, I have recommended to friends and family, but my mom thinks it's too heavy, everybody seems to like. Cord appears to be the complaint I hear most often ..

I was mesmerized by the first infomercials for steam cleaners. That led me to read all the reviews and choose a steam cleaner that best fit my needs cleaning - here's the skinny on this: r R1. Work it like the directions state - slow & steady R2. Hygiene to your hearts desire - small & slow moving motion R3. Results are not typical R rBTW -! I waited to write my review until I had used several times Steamboy -. To make sure it actually works R r used to mop / bucket & swiffer - I felt like I could not get it really clean. I would even scrub with a scrub brush and then wipe clean with a towel. The Towel always have dirt on them. R rSwiffer took 10 pads to clean up each weekend. It is expensive to have to buy pads - even if I got it on [...]. R rNothing compared to steam cleaning. If kept in a different way - you 're wasting your time & money. My hands / feet & home don 't like harsh chemical cleaning smell after I clean the floor of the Steamboy R r done with the water on the floor about an hour after I used the Steamboy -. I wiped it with a Paper Towels & Paper Towels look at the - it slowed NOT dirt. Are you kidding me - I 'You'll never go back to cleaning the floor in a different way R rActual Steamboy Product review:! R-Plastic feels a little cheap - for $ 100 (I expected something a little nicer) r-cord could use a cord holder so I don 't have to wrap it around the cord r-cord length needs to be longer because they don 't want to use an extension cord r-it doesn ' t always stand up straight - to watch it doesn 't fall r More other cloths to clean r ri I wish I had the portable steam cleaner for the rest of the house! I love this product!

Steamboy is great. Reasons for some different feedback: slid on the floor cloth is not a dirty Sun Depending on how dirty your floor, it may not glide very well. That works to our advantage, if it doesn t t 'glide then you have found the place very dirty! Some complain that it is too large, heavy or awkward to use. That's probably the age difference. I 'm 60 I ' s so for me it seems a bit heavy and awkward, but for my daughter it would be light and very easy to manage. The same would apply to wearing the cleaning pads. This requires a strong pull on the string to ensure strict. For their parents may not have the strength to get it tight enough, or even to press the button (attached to a string), which cleave and release floor kitchen r rmy nearly 500 square meters. Needless to say all kinds of cleaners on the floor of this size is a serious task at my age. R trips a day doesn 't seem to make one expect the amount of steam. But it did not bother cleaning the floor. steam it or not im there we see it flow out from under the head cleaning. And doing what is suppose to do .... clean the floor very well without chemicals. It's really picked up dirt and food stuck to the floor with little effort. I have one very small place that I have to push back and forth above (in motion an ancient mop) to get it and the floor is the size that you know there are lots of places but they all come at no additional push from the Steamboy. I have a big dog and some dried food on the food coming from with literally no work on my part. The Steamboy do it without any effort from me cable R rthe on mine long enough. Or apparently, I have a plug-in all my kitchen so that the problem wasn ta ' R RI. Agree it should come with a small stand to set it in. Given the size of my kitchen, I could not stand there and when I 'm too tired to push it again to his feet. I use a counter mats (the things that used to set the hot pot so you don t 'burn your counter tops). I just threw a little on the floor and when I sat down to rest, set Steamboy counter on the mat and pulled until I was ready to begin again. R rAssembly very easy, you just screw in two screws and you are back 'ready to go. And they send extra small black ring if you need to replace the water in the reservoir R ronce you get the hang of using Steamboy you want to understand the differences in some feedback about the water on the floor and. how often the trigger squeeze. Assuming one has a model that is not 't broken. You must press the trigger, the first use, enough to get the pad wet floor And therefore you will have more water on it but not more than you will have from several types of mops. I started in what corner of the weather than the rest of my floor. When I finished there are still some places are not quite dry in the corner, but the entire floor is completely dry. Remember the size of my floor, it took a while before I do r ri love it., As I told my son, this is almost the cleanest I 'have seen the floor since we bought it. This commercial linoleum like they use in department stores. On my hands and knees I can get it clean, but my knees can no longer take the abuse! So, if you want clean then I highly recommend these Steamboy.

I am AMAZED by the power of steamboy.i have not cleaned my Floors in 3 weeks and i just use the steamboy and the cloth was as the color black .. not just water detergent .. imagine in just a week love cleaning.i database to use it Often!

I bought the Steamboy based on comments from others here on Amazon. I've been more than satisfied with your purchase. My whole house is 3500 square feet or hardwood floors or tile. I connect to the Steamboy (via extension cable), fill the water tank and go to work. The whole house can be done in less than 30 minutes (despite having a 4-6 pills do). Pills aren 't hard to change, and I ' t really had any problems with them loosening and out while cleaning. . I like that I can throw in the washing machine and re-use r rI give it 4 instead of 5 for two reasons: 1) the cable is ridiculously short (although that was rectified with extension cable and 2) ) I head was a little bigger. R rall-in-all, one of my favorite purchases so far.

I reviewed this in June 2009 and was very unfortunate that the water leak out of the tanks on the floor. After playing with the gas cap, I realized that I was putting the cap too tight. If it did leak, I would tighten the cap and more water could escape. If I put the cap on so it just closes, water leaks from the tank. It is still 10-20 minutes to produce steam, as the filling of the reservoir, but it cleans wonderfully. He gets something on the ground is dry in minutes. So if you have any problems with the water escapes from the tank, try to set the seal. It's really a wonderful mop once it is determined how to use it.

I have had numerous problems with this Steamboy. The cap was broken twice and my last problem involved a fire in which the cable attaches to the body. Apparently, I was told by the Steamboy, the whole movement back and forth to make the wire will come off and this is why a fire occurred. Because my car is out warrantly (one year) which will not replace the machine. Customer service is seriously lacking from this company. I want to buy a product made by a different company, as I now must replace this unit.

We have a large kitchen with tile floors and a pre-finished wood floor in the dining room. This produces lots of steam mop does a great job and over the counter. My only problem is perhaps inevitable that cotton mops quickly saturated with water. This happens once the MOP begins to leave behind a good amount of water, of course, requires more drying time ... Now keep two mops and ready for change in general, the second halfway through. The wood floor, mop head of cotton seems 'stick' to the word first, so it is difficult to push the mop around. Once it gets wet it 'sa little better, not great, but then you're leaving behind lots of water, which probably isn ' t good on all wood floor and pre-finished. I just stick with the counter with the mop. The steam also trigger must be held constantly What is a pain, it would be nice if there was a 'hold' or 'lock' to keep the trigger pressed. I like the way the mop head, he falls in large curves, and general cleaning is great (the head of the mop gets very dirty what is a good thing). I would recommend this product for quick cleaning jobs in the floors clean and relatively small areas, for example around the kitchen table or in bathrooms. Just can not handle large.

I Have hade my Steamboy for 8 months now and I love it! I use on my linoleum floor Every Sunday. Bearings take the dirt So Much That I do not 't Even Know Was There. We Swiffer Sweep & Every Day I feel my floor cleaner 100% after physician before Steamboy. Do I Suggest to buy extra pads for this mop. Also, when you first take it off very hot mop It Is So be careful. In addition, then this is a great product.

Steamboy used my new white ceramic tile on the floor in two Bathrooms and was very pleased with the results. It left the tile grout lines Including the spotless. The pad Picked up the dirt very well. There was no more residual dampness on the floor than When I use a swiffer wet jet.The pad is constructed of good quality microfiber with a slip cord lock to hold it in place. Other reviewers reported that They had had difficulty with slipping off the pad. That was not my experience as the pad stayed firmly in place through use in 2 large Bathrooms. The unit is light and very maneuverable. Pushing it over the floors required no more effort than the swiffer. Despite being light this is a sturdy and well constructed steam mop. All in all, my expectations were exceeded.

I use it for my bathroom and kitchen (tile) and utility room (vinyl). It works great. I have an old towel and use it to dry the ground my feet, I clean. The towel is not dirty - just moist. I do not like HAVING to rinse cleaner.
