Purchased this vacuum in October 2006 when we built our new house. Their meeting in March 2010 and its was still strong, and just replace the battery recently in the last 2 weeks. I agree with many of the comments you need to start with a clean floor and allow it holds that for you. I dump my tray of debris every two days and make sure that any hair or something in the brush / roller and run at 3 am every day of the week. R le complaints. Then you must buy a second unit above. RWithout hesitation I will buy another.

I'm not sure when I bought this, but still going strong. Scans 5 days a week, and I rub occasionally to get what he misses, but it doesn 't miss much. He does not try to hurt the cables and has been known to find that missing half and eat it. Bonus, I got it for $ 75 used a store through Amazon. Of course that had been used once and then re-packaged. I 've owned 1 roomba others who finally died when the dog had chewed the charger wire, it never seemed to be "right " thereafter.
