I 've had this vac for a year and it ' s been great, except as some of the other, the switch broke and I had to turn it off to turn it off. Turn off the vac and remove the screws that hold the handle together. He won 't come completely apart, but enough for the piece of plastic that is used to switch out, it was printed the words "carpet ', 'ground ', 'off ' . The play is poorly designed and thus not easily. Underneath is the actual parameter with a slider black square. I changed the option back and forth to make sure that wasn t 'bored. I called the vac on and off and on and it worked perfectly. I threw away the outside, screwed it back together and it works well, It 's just a little more difficult to achieve, but to correct sa ' easy.

We had the same model from 11 years ago and it worked tirelessly for almost that whole time - the connection to the Beat Brushes fritzing was out so I ordered the new model as a replacement. Thus far I am pretty happy with one exception, the Latch to the main cover pops open very easyily requires constant care and the vacuum when moving from area to area.

Purchased a Panasonic MC-CG 973 vacuum in 2008. Just before the warranty expires, the vacuum not kill unless I unplugged it. Switch does not work. I contacted Panasonic and give a dealer to repair phones. .... I live in NJ. Not available in the vacuum repair shop until the following month. Since the warranty expired by then, Panasonic wouldn 't extend and I pay for a new power hose. RPanasonic service stinks (not to mention I was on hold for 8 minutes). Power hoses should not after the union of less than 1 year. use. Vacuum is not abused. RThis is the second vacuum I purchased from Panasonic ...... I won 't buy another one.

This is the second I purchased panasonic vacuum. The other last 12 years and still works. The wheels have broken off the old one and we use it for vacuuming the cars. It also uses the same bags that replacement of the old one did. The new one has an additional amps of power, clean great and even has a HEPA filter which keeps down the dust on the furniture. Handy Tools are. I 'd say it really sucks but I wouldn ' t want to give anyone the wrong idea. lol. I 'd recommend it to anyone that is familiar with a Canister Vacuum Cleaner,

Bought this before Christmas 2008 from Amazon for about $ 198. We 're happy with it. I agree with other reviewers that it 's quiet and has good suction, there should be an extra length of metal Hose for the attachments and the handle is a little heavy, but overall it is a good machine and I ' d recommend it . RBTW, it takes C-5 bags (aka Kenmore 5055), not the bags C20E "Frequently bought together " with it at this time.

As Pointed out by Other Reviewers, the shut-off switch breaks easily. I don 't think I ' ve Used More Than it 10-12 times and now I Have to unplug it to turn it off. Completely Unacceptable Other than this fault, the vacuum works very well, with good suction and easy maneuverability. I Would Have Given it 5 stars if I weren 't about to pack it up for the repair shop. As it is, maybe 3 stars is overly Generous.

I Purchased this to replace my Samsung respectable super That After doing ten years old, cracked hoses. I am sure it will run for over many Are But What part is not available anymore. Making Matters Worse, Samsung no longer build vacuums.Unfortunately, I Decided to replace it with the Panasonic. This product emits low throughout. This suction is very weak in the department. If I HAD to do enough research before buying I d 'buy in Sears Kenmore, This Is Exactly Same as Kenmore models (much lower price and extra features, performance indicators). RFunctionally, this is a good vacuum tubes. good suction, easy to move around and under furniture, handy on / off control on the thumb, most importanly, not as heavy to push around like my old upright. However, there is one part of the vacuum, I think that don 't WAS well designed. I bought this product after reading some reviews here. Could it not be switched after the first use. Called Panasonic Trust Support Hours after she answered by an operator, I was hung up trust again. No returns allowed. Each time, instead of listening to repeatly my problem, the service people from Panasonic (possibly from India) kept simple reading of its policy to me. R ri had more than 20 miles to a retail service center to drive in for repair. The man there told me I was not the only one who had this problem. It turned out, was defective part. When I came back to my vacuum left with them for a week, the guy has fixed the vacuum, but I broke though still part seems. R rThe vacuum is heavy. After this experience I would not recommend to buy this product. Why pay full price, is to buy one it is a part of the defect even it 's New

Folks, Go try to vacuum in the store before buying R. Rall hinge made of plastic and Low grade They break and bend easily. Mine is only 2 months old and is due to a plastic rod Separating Being Not strong enough. Power switch does not work half the time R. Just buy the Panasonic canister vacuum cleaner with the power to replace any of Oreck upright and a commercial packaging unit back. We have several dogs that shed every summer and could only Oreck t 'pick up the dog hair on our carpet. But this new Panasonic does a fantastic job - not to shake the hair balls that I collect later. I even took half a pill of airsoft hair on carpet too. It 's the best vacuum you ' ve ever used! Not as expensive as many of its competitors. My only suggestion would be cheaper to buy a pipe snake shop hardware tends to hide the hose, but it just shows the amount of "stuff " gaps others are not collected

I bought this vacuum to replace aging 15 + years old Electrolux. It cleans as well. The accounting system functionality is great, and quieter 'SA batch. At its current price, the value and the 'sound. For a unit even quieter, you 'd have to spend at least twice. My wife likes better than the old and Electrolux.

I started with an Electrolux over 30 years and rose to the Rainbow about 15 years ago. My first Rainbow was wonderful and I finally exchanged against a new Rainbow 5 months ago. This is a piece of junk! It is totally collapsed and there are no service centers in my area today. It 's very heavy and bulky and not easy to maneuver. Then I began to find a new vacuum cleaner is n 't cost me the wages of a year and would be easy to handle. I searched Amazon and read all the reviews and settled on this Panasonic. It arrived and I had out of the box and put together in 10 minutes. C 'is surprisingly light, but solid and it has substance. The pivot 360 degrees is beautiful and makes a huge difference in the maneuvers. I used to have to wear shoes "Rainbow vacuum or kill my toes and break my legs. This Panasonic is so easy to handle and therefore much lighter than I can wear my flip flops and do not kill my toes. Attachments are contained in the body of the vacuum and that 's so convenient. The power cord is a winding ... again, it beats all the Rainbow. The nozzle is wonderful, and guess What? It is 100 times quieter than a Rainbow ... my dogs did not run for the hills when I switched. OMG! Should I have dumped the Rainbow once long ago, especially Pls you compare prices. I have three dogs and I vacuum a lot even if it doesn empty 't last more than a year or two, it is more profitable than overpriced Rainbow. I highly recommend this Panasonic and I'm so glad I bought it. Now, I don t Dread vacuuming the way I did before. Happy Cleaning!
