First, the suction on this vacuum is not very strong. I find that I pick up bits of food (like Cheerios) after aspiration Have. A vacuum should be strong enough to suck a Cheerio! Then I ordered replacement bags from Panasonic 's website - it has been 2 weeks now, and they still can ' t tell me, when I completed my order be shipped and will be. That 's ridiculous. Canister vacuum I bought this after reading all the positive comments on Amazon. The t do not suck "bad, but the head is covered almost immediately. I read many many reviews for weeks before purchasing this vacuum. I have mostly hardwood floors, some rugs, steps need vacuuming and 5 cats. My previous Hoover upright vacuum died, and I am very glad I bought a type of canister. It has great suction, is light to carry and picks up all the cat hair. I 't believe I waited so long to purchase it. I highly recommend this product.

I am very disappointed in the vacuum performance of the carpet. It's just not doing a good job on the carpet. That's not bad with fur on the carpet. suction was poor, even at maximum levels. Easily flips on the tube and turn off the Reality. I regret this purchase vacuum tubes. This is not good on the tiles but not on the carpet. I m 'went out and bought an upright vacuum today.

We bought the Panasonic because we had an earlier version of the same size and price and it lasted 12-14 years. So - it 's powerful, but do not glide easily over rugs. I did thick Oriental rugs, so I don 't know If That ' s the issue. But, I'd recommend it for hardwood floors.

I Purchased this based on reviews I read Some say it was a wonderful suction. Personally I think it smells. It seems to go " OK " from the carpet to the floor, but you have to adjust the button on the vacuum head on the second floor, so you also have to bend down to switch from floor to carpet, or you have to pull up to you, the risk of damage in a house as small as mine. This is my first canister vac and I 've been very happy with it. It was bought to replace a Dirt Devil upright who died after a year of occasional use. I wanted something light, and this is only 10 pounds total so it 's very easy to drag and carry up the stairs. We both have carpet and parquet, and this vac works equally well on different surfaces, although from using poles only in the past, it took me a while to get used to the "feel ". The suction power can be adjusted, which is good, because at most it 's sometimes impossible to lift the nozzle out of a carpet! I have children, so the HEPA filter on this model is a great advantage. I don t mind "buy the bags, I'll never use another model bagless because all leak and the smell after the first use. I now use this vac almost every day and keep someone who duplex apartment relatively clean for the kids play inside.:)

I 'd like to add my vote to all the positive reviews and features, this is a lightweight, inexpensive and powerful * which replaced left my $ 400 Kenmore (mainly because of weight).
