Description
Kurv Hand Vac is stored in a charging station, so it's always charged and ready to clean up YOUR MESS! With its smooth curves and elegant keyhole-shaped wind, Dirt Devil Kurv's appears more like an area of sludge age of a household cleaning product. And while picking up the crumbs, dust and falls as well as your average ugly cordless handheld vacuum, the aesthetics of the machine are its major drawing card. Created by renowned industrial designer Karim Rashid, the Kurv is elegant enough to leave on the bench or Coffeetable, where it is more likely to come into play as soon as possible - before the Cheerios are grounded in Karastan, in other words, just like gold guests last minute are due to arrive. The cordless design plugs into a charging base for storage, for which the unit is always ready to go, and simply twist the cup dirt off-load, saving users the hassle and expense of disposable bags. Weighing just two pounds, the Kurv also has a replaceable filter and a soft tip to protect delicate surfaces such as hardwood floors and antique furniture. Is backed by a limited warranty of three years. - Mary Park

I noted that all the publicity this show suck a hard surface, with the exception of the appearance of two seconds of video of the litter. This right does not show exactly what to expect from this gap. I gather the clarification white for $ 13, only for use on carpets that have few. Does the job, but I used to get the stubborn cat hair out. (I can dream right?)
I had this little miracle gift last Christmas and love it! This elegant empty lives easier on my side table, like the sinuous lines that help conceal the function of this room. I think the draw is sufficient for my needs, but I 'm picking up the stray crumbs rather than balls of dog hair that made a difference. I 've had no problem with this vacuum, holding an office, and it certainly surpasses the dust-busters I ' ve had in the past. This vacuum is a great addition to my arsenal of cleaning and saves me the hassle of fighting for full-size vacuum for smaller messes. High recommended!
I accept this new vaccuum as a wedding gift and was eager to use it. It worked great for the first few days and then stopped working and it would 't even turn on! Unit says it has a three-year warranty on parts, but when I inquired about this I was told the warranty is not good because this particular vaccuum created in 2007, which still ISN 't even three years. I also didn 't have a receipt because it is a gift and my Dirt Devil Defendant bought at a yard sale and then try to get a new one. I will never buy another Dirt Devil products. Poor quality at high price and they do not back their products.
The Dirt Devil Kurv Cordless Handheld Vacuum Cleaner 0216CHM deserves more credit than it gets. This is not a perfect product. It is definitely not designed for everybody. But as somebody who has bought way more vacuums than the average person, I think this model has a lot going for it that will appeal to specific customers. R RSO SHOULD I BUY THIS? R r * If you need a compact cordless vacuum for occasional clean up around your house or car, this is a product you should look into. r * If you need to clean large areas, look into the alternatives. r * If you are expecting the same power out of a cordless hand-held vaccuum as a corded one, you will also be disappointed with this. This works great for light use. Just don 't plan on picking up nuts and bolts with it like people do on those infomercials. R * If you need to clean heavily soiled areas, look into another product. R rPROS r + The battery holds a charge longer than any other handheld I have tried! Just make sure you first it properly (follow the instructions) and it should last a long time r + Improved filter keeps dirt out of the motor, should help it last longer r + The integrated charging base is very convenient and compact r + Very nice design; button is flush on the top, good non-skid nozzle r + Very light! See more in the alternative section r rCONS r-Like all cordless vacuums, the suction is not very powerful r-The storage bin does need to be emptied often, hair and debris stick to the filter, so you will have to Remove those things by hand to keep this thing working well r-The charge light doesn 't change color to differentiate between "Charging " and "charged " States r-The price may be slightly high for such a small unit r rTIPS r ras soon as you get your vacuum, plug it in for at least a day without using it. Once your battery is primed, this thing holds a charge better than any cordless vac I have tried. R rCleaning out the dust bin takes some getting used to. The filter of this guy is very good. At first, you have to pull it out in order to clean it and empty the bin. When you replace it, you have to line it up with a small tab that only fits on the top of the circular filter holder. While this takes some time, it holds the dust away from the motor better than others that I have. R rALTERNATIVES r rthe Eureka 71B Hand-Held Vacuum is very highly rated. Just an FYI, Eureka, Dirt Devil is a company too from what I understand. I got one of those last year to use for spot cleaning. That version is corded and does have a lot more suction power than this Kurv cordless. So what 's the problem with that one that made me shop for others? Well, even though it 's Twice the size, the dust collection bin isn ' t much bigger. That 's not a huge deal. But cleaning the bin takes much more time. The filter gets clogged quicker and needs to be changed frequently. Because I also found that that unit is Heavier, I didn 't use it as often. r rThose who mainly want more power and don 't mind replacing filters or dealing with wires may prefer the 71B.As for me, I find that the fact that the Kurv is light, small and always ready to go in the charging cradle means it gets used a lot more often in my house. It may only be good for a few dust bunnies, hair and dirt, but that 's enough to make it useful. r rthe Eureka 79B The Boss Cordless Rechargeable Handheld Vacuum Cleaner is a similar design to the classic "dust buster. " There are newer versions of the classic dust busters, such as the Black and Decker CHV9600 9.6-Volt Cyclonic DustBuster. I suppose those are more direct competitors to this one but I haven 't tried those models myself. I really like that the collection bin is separated from the motor by the filter. Those old school designs tend to be Messier to clean up, but it may be worth looking since they sell for slightly less. R rSimilarly, also makes a Dirt Devil Kone Cordless Hand Vacuum that sells for a little less. I also own and have used that one. It is very similar to the Kurv, but the battery doesn 't seem as robust and the dust bin is even a little smaller. I think that the improvements to the Kurv the better filter and make it worth paying a little more for it. You will have to decide if those features are worth the extra cash to you. R rof course everybody is aware of the newer Dyson handheld models. But the Dyson DC16 Root 6 Handheld Vacuum Cleaner and Dyson DC16 Animal Handheld Vacuum Cleaner retail for around $ 150 and $ 200 respectively. I 'm not quite sure if I ' m ready to spend that kind of cash for a handheld. Every site I have checked has complained of poor battery life for those units. r rCONCLUSION r rWhile far from perfect, this design is convenient enough that you will probably find yourself using it more often than other models. For light use around your house and your car, this is a good unit. For more demanding use, look into the other options. R rEnjoy ... ..
Purchase this a year ago. Does not work properly. Almost did not take anything, and sometimes none at all. Another annoying thing about it is that the loss was 's load slowly if you have turned off the base, even if it ' s fully charged to begin. It's mostly just decoration ... nothing worth using as a tool.
Four complaints: r r1. Thing is the storage capacity to hold approximately 2 bit of ambiguity. Changing it almost, but not quite, required my search and reading the owner 's manual. Not good. It 'sa freaking dustbuster, after all. R2. The bright and large charge the light stays on constantly even if it 's fully charged, waste energy and letting you never know if it ' s really ready to suck some others yet. R3. The Strength of suckage just said enough. It eventually impact some hordes of vicious dust bunnies after I jettisoned the dead weight of its contents storage. R4. Her mouth is tiny. Don 't expect to vacuum any area larger than a square inch, or you ' ll be there all day. R Rone begrudging praise: r r1. Admittedly, I 've never owned a new Dustbuster, so I ' t compare its performance to anything, it just 's appearance. While her appearance is very stylish and sexy, inside is seriously lacking in substance. R rOverall, I wouldn 't recommend Kurv anyone unless they want a very sexy looking Nightlight. In which case would be perfect.
Although Kone has more power than the previous model, after a great start, which was completely deflated. He worked for about 4 months and then the power was gone. Keeping the charge made no difference. I feel that was a total waste of money buying t won 'Another Dirt Devil product.
I'm tired of seeing my other dust buster, take up less space & are not looking very good. I want to keep handy for the kitchen / dining room RThis one visible. Large. There are no attachments, but quickly be able to take the crumbs & Dust Bunnies when they tried to escape.
This is one of the best inventions ever! I don 't so much think of it as an art statement or anything, but it's sitting on the floor in a corner of my dining room and it was fantastic. I really want to have to use it! No more dragging the vacuum for a small dead bug or a small pile of sand. And I know Can I take the bug into a tissue, but it is much easier and more fun. It is SO easy to use and I just love it! My grandma got one too and so is my mother. It 's a good investment.
This is a great little vacuum. It Was Made for small, quick clean up job and picks up crumbs, dirt, and small pieces very well. If you want to pick up dog hair, I suggest you use a larger vacuum for the type of work. It is easy to empty after you use it. Also it is the most attractive cordless vac Out in May We keep ours plugged in to the floor off to the side of our dining room, Where does it come in handy and looks great. This hand held vac is a winner in my book.
Price range is acceptable. Ability to remove fine particles, including dust, sand and pet hair is poor. Larger items seems OK to make, however there is very little storage area for material intake and filter clogs quickly to protect the engine. I would not recommend this product for daily use of solid gold.
This vac is a piece of absolute garbage. It 's weak. Very weak. And I 'm not sure if I got a lemon goal hold in charge for mine about 2 minutes and I bought it brand new. Do NOT buy this vac. I do not submit reviews aim is Time, That Is vac how bad it is. I'd "give it neg stars if it was an option on Amazon.
