I hate it, vac, but the Dyson has almost fun. It's easy in my area rugs to hardwood or tile floor with a touch of a conveniently located button. It doesn 't blow only the dust / dirt all over the hardwood or tile floors. I have found the facilities to be quite useful. @ I amazed at how much dirt it sucks up.All that I can say is, take the plunge and buy it!
I love my vacuum, which is the best vacuum I 've owned. The price is high, but for a reason. It 's very heavy compared to others, but it will do the job and lasts. I had bought a couple of sucks Each Other, that after a year or so broke. Why pay to repair them have been able to, if you buy a new one for some extra money? I decided to try a high-end model and boy was I right. This to me has never been a problem and is still as powerful as the day I bought it.
This machine is impossible for hard floors. Dyson service was useless. A total waste of money!
Impressed at first, but not so much after a few years. Highlights include: r 1) Bagless saving landfill system and pocket books in bags. R2) Very good job on hard floors. R3) have to give props and style of advertising. R4) will be better than our Hoover Wind Tunnel in wood and tile floors. never r5) We 've had to unclog the hose hair pet. R rWhat 'is not so great: r1) The cloud of dust and debris in the light shining from the kitchen while emptying the cartridge r2) r3 Even after washing the filter, which re ' greeted by the smell of dander mold of our dogs as it is run if the system helps absorb the supplement, but usually a candle or two after the aspiration. ) Posting wand is heavy and the brakes near the base of the suction pipe when maneuvered to reasonable angles. R4) It 's ridiculously difficult to pull our carpets, including our great area. In addition, the agitator brush off when slides to making it even harder to push and pull. R5 ) Although the box has a quick release button on the handle for emptying, it 's not really all that convenient to empty with pet hair. Hair get 's prisoners near the top of the chamber. So instead of simply pressing the button, we have to remove the outer tube to clear the top of the canister. R6) T handle doesn box 'by as much as a bag, so instead of changing one back once or twice a month, has to be emptied 2-3 times a cleaning in our house. R rNote sure that 'sa "perfect vacuum" out there. We have the wind tunnel before Dyson, due to good reviews in Consumer Reports, but it was good to catch loose debris such as dead grass and dust tracked by our pets in our wood and tile floors. Furthermore, the hose became often clogged in the wind tunnel. My mom Kirby cleans very well on carpet and hard floors, but the attachments change takes longer than my patience level of pay. It also weighs a ton. R wife rmy, who has back problems, she helped her friend when she was bedridden with complications. His friend had an Oreck, and she thought it was easy to maneuver and it seemed to do a good job, so that will probably be our next attempt. They have two dogs, but do not smell its non house 'like him. Advertising practically tells you that he needs a "tune-up once a year, which, from what I can tell, involves changing the belt. Not too excited about having to do maintenance on a vacuum that often. But it can not be too bad a trade off for cleaning floors, ease of use, and a house that does not smell dander t "like dogs.
I Can t not possibly say enough good things about my Dyson. Yes, it costs a bit more but will last and last. Those things will rise also empty other fault. I love being able to use attachments without having to turn the beater brush. You Can 't go wrong with the Dyson!
Okay, it 's new and I ve ' Is this just a week, so I ll 'must be returned within a few months and review again and see if I still like it as much, however, so far, it is an amazing vacuum r . Rthe price is a bit much, but if it continues to do well Is it s 'at reasonable prices, easy to r. RI I bought it to replace my Hoover WindTunnel vacuum Main. Hoover is a good vacuum, and probably one of the best to suck it I 've Used, Until Now. After using the Dyson DC17 Asthma and Allergies new vacuum, I realize That I Do not really suck up the dust until now. R my good spirit, Total Dyson picks up the stuff probably twice what I picked up the Hoover. To be fair, my old Hoover, but I maintain it well, but still ... wow R RI usual!; sneeze or cough when I use my other vacuums (I have three other people a new Dyson Apart), But Not That Having problems after using the Dyson. R RI found was dust bin tube disconnected, emptied and cleaned, and reconnected with great ease. R ri can see, therefore, Dyson That will require a little more attention than my other vacuums, for taking up so much. Already I Can See That I ll "Is the rotary brush to clean more often, and emptied the trash and clean more often. Additional Maintenance is not a problem, though, as far as not Dyson ITS good works, which are still To Be determined, and I will be back in a few months to update my review.
We Caveda the hype about the Dyson, and boy, what a mistake. Two boys, two dogs and two years later I'm looking for a new vacuum. I completely lost in the intake pipe, and the fibers have to cut the brush every time I use it. I have a braided rug is ruined due to not being able to adjust the height of the pile myself. Every time I thought the vacuum "What waste" would go over the carpets and the extra time just to be sure it was somewhat clean. I would be happier if it hadn t cost much to replace 'to start, a terrible purchase.
For those who are thinking about buying one of the cleaners Dyson 's vacuum, Don ' t! Save yourself the money and buy a Hoover! Mine never worked right. Now it's garbage spit out the back of the vacuum. The belt is fine and nothing is wrapped around the axle! Have all parts checked and nothing is wrong. JUST TRY contact DYSON! His company became so great that nobody cares anymore! They figure if you 're stupid enough to buy this vacuum, then ' s your problem when it doesn t work '. Now I'm going to buy a Hoover at a fraction of the cost to complete the aspiration of the week!
This vacuum is amazing. I have a lot of vacuum-owned and this is the only vacuum that I ever loved so much. Any other vacuum I have leaves to dust in the air was then that never fails to make me sneeze and it was always a strange smell in the air. After I vacuum there is absolutely nothing more than to clean air and clean soil. The vacuum suction, and never loses clean very well. I recommend. A little expensive, and I'm a cheapskate, but it's worth the money.
[...]. Okay what were the reviews said it was amazing suction and it will be to get the dirt from your carpet vacuum that no one else has ever touched. I love how the wand turns off the handle and you don 't have to plug / unplug anything, except the head of cleaning you want to use. When using the wand pipe has a very long haul, but it 's very flexible so you have to use two hands the baton to quarrel with it. That said I think the weight of the vacuum is perfect, if it is lighter Pls Were you pulled out the rod would slip and fall off the floor. It has a handle to lift the vacuum everything 's in the right place in the center of gravity so that ' s easy to lift and carry around.
I liked my vacuum for the first seven months I had it. For the last three months it was in repair shop waiting for parts to arrive from Malaysia, I hear they are here at 1-2 week (I hear it every time I call.) So don 't buy This product if it is your sole vacuum, you can get without it for the moment.
Works great, has been using for several weeks. Cleans much better than my old vacuum.
Ok so we bought the Dyson vac Allergy Because We Have a 4 year old with terrible allergies and because my husband Often gets sucked into gimmicks! I have Used the vac for 4 months now and here is what I think: The reason why people think it picks up dirt so much is because it Has a clear canister so that it Has the appearance of picking up lots of debris because it is Actually in front of you. I give the vac a 3 star because it does vacuum. I am a mop board frequesnt vent cleaner and cleaner and the attachments are VERY Difficult to use. The cord Must Be Completely unwound to use the wand. The wand is incredibly poorly designed. If the vac Is Not Turned On, It Is a very long wand with a great potential stretch But When You Turn on the vac it shrinks back into Itself and is impossible to Use, Especially with the crevice tool. I have berber carpets, hardwood floors, short pile carpets and vinyl. I use it on all the surfaces but i think that is what you buy is a good vac, so that it Can adjust. There are the dials to turn, you just move from floor to floor and the front drops down to just adjust to the floor it is on. The vacuum does not fit under furniture at all But of course you May another PURCHASE head That does?? I would not recommend this vac, Especially for the price. I Had a canister vac That did Not Have a hepa filter and that is why we wanted a new vac, per doctors recommendations. The directions for use are very poor. Had to go on line for questions. Bottom line, if you don 't use the attachments and not to vacuum the rug Entire You Will Be reasonably happy with this vacuum Probably not But You Have the price to pay for this gimmickey household item!
Although it makes me feel sick to spend this much money vacuum, all it took was using it to make me feel better. Although the prices are outrageous, this is the best vacuum I ever owned R ri Own. A long-haired cats and Beagle. I also happen to Are asthma and allergies dust. Dust and dirt are my personal Kryptonite. Every other vacuum I've owned has left me sneezing and wheezing. Not this one. I have an old bagless vacuum tip and empty cans, which left me with watery eyes and grab frantically for rescue inhalers. Button that releases the dust / Dirt from Dyson tube allows me to hold it deep in the trash and empty without the mess get in the air R. RAS to clean, I am amazed at the amount of dust and pet hair that took this machine. You really can see the changing colors of the carpet! I think I keep my house clean, but this makes me feel like a total slob R. RThe that one of the weaknesses that exist which are not onboard storage for turbo tool or attachment under-Couch. This is a bit heavy too, but because I can vacuum my entire staircase without having to drag it with me wave (like I have to do with my other vacuum), I can t 'said that weight loss is a big problem. R too short, the Dyson DC17 is well worth the money.
First, let me say I had a Dyson DC17 "Absolute Asthma and Allergy " vacuum cleaner for about a week, and loved the way clean. Annexes A number added to the versatility of the unit. If I was not holding t 'for my hat, which had been sucked into his little box clear. Translated, the Dyson suction incredible ... at least when young, that's all I can guarantee. Watching the bowl fill light was a real hoot, and made me feel like the Dyson was doing a spectacular job. My carpets looked like new. When using the accessories, however, a power struggle ensues as the hose back while I tried frantically trying to pull it I went ahead. This is the result of the suction fantastic, and a known problem with Dysons. I will not elaborate on how the works Dyson Whether or not it works. Rather, I want to discuss Dyson 's claim to be "friendly" to asthma and allergies. R Rhower FRIENDLY Is that so? I bought the DC17 Absolute Asthma and Allergy Mainly for my allergies to dust mites and serious near mild to moderate asthma, and my inability to void, without sneezing, coughing and wheezing during a few hours after aspiration. I have never used a vacuum cleaner that didn 't have a very unpleasant odor, while the suction force me to use half box of tissues as a result of aspiration and / or makes me want to run for an open window to breathe. This includes my Purchased recently, top-rated, top-of-the-line Kenmore Progressive canister that unfortunately (as I came to find out the hard way) pushes out more than dust particles, caught, measured with a scanner dust particles. My nose and lungs can vouch for this. R RSO, nothing better than my health to buy a vacuum cleaner with "Asthma and Allergy", as part of its title? Finally, I thought ... a solution to my woes aspiration! The Dyson DC17 is that boasts "asthma friendly, " as measured by the Asthma and Allergy Foundation of America. Maybe he gets this rating because it has a HEPA filter on board. Dyson 's claim is that it helps people breathe easier. R rPlease, T Please do not believe it. I can not stress this strong enough. I spent about half an hour a day for three days about everything you could hope to Dyson. I pushed the Dyson with one hand, and kept my tissues in the other. Each day, I sneezed and coughed non stop for almost the duration of aspiration, and for the next hours following ... And this is a clean house with 2 adults FORMER immaculately, no smoking, no PETS and without children with serious RUNNING 24-7 air purifier! They felt my lungs were burning. To make matters worse, you need to be more in the garbage and quickly the trigger to empty the tank. The box opens from the bottom. All eating dust and dirt in a blowing back, even if you cover the trash quickly. Enter Coughing and sneezing more. I was sad, angry and disappointed after my "Time Trial" with the Dyson in terms of its alleged allergy and "asthma friendly. " How dare the Asthma and Allergy Foundation Dysons They give their blessing! R ras this weren 't bad enough, I talked with the repair business three different vacuum cleaner, people who cringed when I mentioned Fix Dyson ' behalf. One said, "What the hell did you buy that piece of garbage? " I was told repeatedly by each person I spoke with, that when these vacuums breaking, parts are hard to find and expensive. Reading other sites where not only people who bought the device and you'll see how it behaves somewhat later. I was told that the repair shops do a lot of Dysons Every month, compared with other top-selling brands. ALLERGY-wise, I was also told that no A Dyson "sealed " system. Dust particles leak from other areas of the vacuum (as with most vacuums) that do not pass through the HEPA filter, therefore, sneezing, coughing and wheezing. Dysons can be better than the average vacuum cleaner relatively cheap, but far from "Good Enough. " How could they be classified as asthma friendly? R Rafter Returning weitere Dyson and doing research, including this stop at several shops sell vacuum cleaners, I bit the bullet and bought a Miele ( "model Gemini ") yesterday. Yes, it was nauseatingly expensive. At this point, consider a medical necessity. Since yesterday, I vacuum my carpet just two rooms of the house (spare rooms), the entire main room (which has a Pergo "slate look" floor), I vacuum under the king-size bed and closet and comfortable, the room 's pleated shades, upholstered living room, my wood floors, floor tile, carpets, etc.. I do not sneeze or cough, not even once! The difference is that Miele has a serious SEALED and filtering system . A particle scanner will show zero dust particles being released from any area of the machine. What difference is unbelievable. The quality alone Among the Dyson and Miele is like the difference between a Mercedes and a Ford Pinto. By the way, I do not work for Miele , nor did I even watch their vacuums Until last week. r rif Especially you or your children, have allergies to dust, do not have asthma, and you can deal with the possibility of paying the repair bills down the killer road (after waiting a month or more to get your vacuum back for repair), then by all means buy the Dyson. As for me, once I used a Miele for the first time, I knew I was bringing Dyson back to "absolute " right decison .....
This vacuum is extremely expensive and does a great job and terrible than empty - get the garbage off the floor. However, it has some minor problems that would be very easy to fix and I think it would make a heck of a lot easier to use. I 'll forgive the weights because of the power, but something could really be done about the cable. It has a nice long cable that, when you 're trying to vacuum a small area, certainly will not stop falling and fading, making you basically get cable reels over and over to keep from running up. Not a huge deal, but a minor annoyance every time he 's used. And secondly, the deployment of the telescopic hose really, really have a lot of tension so that you can only go about four feet, without the machine being dragged behind you - a big pain when you 're doing stairs (but a good training I guess). I thought it would be more relaxed with the use, but it 's six months ago and now he ' s the same. Aggravating. R rOverall it 's a good machine, but heavy in some ways.
I do not believe that this vacuum made the difference. Was it like my old vacuum was not even working. I have a dog with allergies and children with allergies and I am seeing a big difference Since I purchased my Dyson.
I never thought I 'd pay $ 500 for almost a vacuum, but this one is worth its weight in gold. I have an old house, a Labrador Retriever (one today, down from 2), a young son and wife both love to bring the "old stuff, " stones, sticks, and even what else is dirty. I am a potter and my studio is at home. All of that makes a lot of dust. I 'm amazed to dirt, dust and dog hair the Dyson picks up even when I ' ve just use it in a day or two before. We 're all better breathing and our allergies are 90% better. My only complaint is that not thin the skin flexible attachment tool isn 'enough to get between the coils of my radiator, but that is so minor. I 'd buy it again in a heart beat.
I have asthma and allergies. I also have three cats and two dogs. Sounds like a good combination, t doesn 'it? R rI bought this vacuum from a big box store after doing a lot of research and deliberation. Spending all that money on something is depressing for me. But I finally went out and closed my eyes as I handed over the money. R rThis thing is amazing. Before I had a Hoover that just did the job. We Have Been vacuuming our house and I can not tell you the amount of dust, dirt, hair, etc. What Out of Our carpets have been sucked into the void. It 'easy to use and has lots of accessories for all your needs vacuum. R rI recommend this vacuum to those who are tired of using equipment paragraph. You won 't be disappointed!
I don t 'Really Need to repeat what major points of this vacuum. I just wanted to mention that I almost did not t 'get it because of all the comments about the long pole. Now stick it came from and Can you put an attachment at the end of the hose, press the big red button and disconnect the hose ... RI read many negative comments about the Dysons before I take one off of the list craig s "is used. It Every October the negative comments I've seen is the result of the users did not see the instruction sheet. This full-featured machines are easy if you only read the instructions (see manual drawings), or even just see emptiness Itself caution, rather than assuming the worst Ryou. pdf of the manual can be downloaded from the Dyson website. Just go to this vacuum, then the page addtioinal accessories, then the manual. button to download pdf download for free on That Page RI. Thankful That I found a deal I could not resist Lo t 'or May Do I have watched all the false negative.
This vacuum is great! I started with her on the advice of a colleague. Once I was deliberately removed with the house that someone Oreck vacuum that we'll always well served. Then I immediately went over and over again with the Dyson vacuum cleaner. It is incredible how much longer this takes. We had the unit for each floor empty does! My asthma hasn 't been bothering me as much as we get it, and I have at least partial credit to the vacuum. R It was easy to be together, although I found the instructions are missing. They did do everything in pictures and not the translation into different languages. It was still enough to go fast but. Overall, great product!
The obvious advantage to the DC 17 is the awesome suction power. It wins hands down against all competition. Usability is another issue. The larger majority na Canister makes getting under challenge. When to layed down flat Nearly Lose Suction BECAUSE YOU LIFT THE BEATEN bar up a bit. Another challenge is the Wand bar and it 's hard disk. Reaching to do while the Wand Breeze jammer on the attachments must be tight or risk falling off frequently. This design flaw must be looked into and can be resolved with a ribbed tube end fittings that gives more friction instead of the smooth plastic. The on / off button plus extra for hard floors is user friendly and a stroke of genius. But the pressing face of the vacuum with your foot to get the handle to drop is not intuitive. The Beat Aggressive Agitation Gives Great bar to get deep down dirt. But watch out when doing small rugs like in a bathroom. Moving forward is fine but backing up onto another could end in Catching the RUG CARPET IN THE BRUSH. All in all a very nice vacuum with even more potential if the company delivers on some user issues and continue to perfect the old model. Speaking of models, I just bought The DC17 Asthma and Allergy HEAR THAT it 's not going to be made now. No great loss as the guy that sold me the vacuum it says the same as the animal which costs a lot more. Hmmmmm.
I bought this after the first attempt Vacuum DC17 Animal, and thinking about buying the DC21 canister vacuum. R ri vacuum decided on that and think I made the best choice. It cleans wonderfully. Do I have a dog, and he got so much hair that it 's amazing! I love the attachements well with this cleaner. The extra $ 100 for the DC17 Animal with the attachements are definitely not worth it. They don t get 'very well and Don ' t really do anything. Expecially the little turbo tool. I Have the Dirt Devil Paw power and works better. R rthe canister vacuum seems so awkward and clumsy to me. R rOverall , great buy! Jodi - Columbus, OH
We have the best buy ever made in a vacuum, we love itDyson DC17 Animal Cyclone Upright Vacuum Cleaner
