I now Invest more money having my Oreck repaired and cleaned as I purchase things. It never worked very well ... my old Dust Devil costs about 1 / 4 the price, is a better machine. Once the Oreck warranty is up, the machine stopped working whole. Suction is always semi-asthmatic and now it 's with almost existant. It never picked up dog hair, and now it picks up nothing. Do not buy this machine. My neighbors have an even more expensive version and it was like bad. Avoid Oreck. Save your money and buy a Dyson.

Oreck Vacuums I'm looking at because they are one of the few (and by the "little " I mean the ONLY enough Vacuums price) currently made in the United States. That 's right - Hoover, Eureka, Dirt Devil, Dyson even - have all moved their manufacturing to China & Malaysia. And the quality shows - might explain why my previous Eureka didn 't make more than two years. My Oreck However, sucks - literally! I guess I didn 't even know how well can a vacuum until I have this baby. Lack of attachment to the main unit (it comes with a handful of useful tin with many attachments for curtains and stairs) made a big to get right next to the edge. It ISN 't be too hard on the carpet but when I ' m on ceramic tiles, large motor can be very hard. Long rope on average. I like light. The best, for me, is that it 's cut in half the time to vacuum. I didn 't realize how much time is wasted in the past happened in the same area more than once, only to have it still lost cat fur. Which reminds me, the one in the house that doesn 't love the Oreck is a tabby - was still afraid, even though he ' s got four pounds of his enemy!

I have the XL model vertically upright position. May I also replaced belts in my life. My hands hurt him last night that replacing the belt. Oreck I found out my door in my back yard. Believe me, just flying. Hate this piece of garbage. I have pets and need to sweep and sweep, never cut the gap. Because I think I'd R $ 369.00 for mine, because I felt that everything was my fault. I 'd read the instructions again and again, re-install the brush Assembly, made no difference. The belt is so strong, his injured hand after just replace the belt. The vacuum that pulls the earth around well, but after 40 minutes, breaking the damn tape and bought a bunch of belts and bags Oreck local store, so I know that seat belts are the correct model. Well, that 's for me. I have virtually no temper, but this vacuum removes the worst of a person. David Oreck I come to my door, no doubt could easily find my house, my house has made a speech on the lawn outside. I imagine David came to my door and I would like the right punch to the nose crook! Don 't buy an Oreck. Hopefully the money they had to bow out of this terrible sweeper.I bought a Dirt Devil Dynamite a friend to go under the Christmas tree, so it 's not get it. I opened the box, stuck the handle and clicked, that was it. Actually dragged my house without breaking the belt - no bags, it has all the cat hairs, It 's has a small head on it so you can go into corners very well. It 's the best sweeper I've used. David Oreck, hate your guts!

I had seen the ads, but I never spent money on this vacuum if I had not seen and used first. After using a friend 's Oreck, I was hooked! I can 't tell you how disappointed I was with good vacs our family had endured over the years - 3 or 4 different brands and styles. They were clumsy, heavy, cheaply made, and n 't last! The Oreck is lightweight, does a good job and I have only the base model. C 'is not pretty or fancy, but it works. I had mine now for about 3 years. The only maintenance required is changing the belt every 6 months. In my opinion, it is worth the extra money vac. If I had spent the money years ago, I could have saved myself a lot of back pain and frustration!

This is the most amazing vacuum cleaner I have ever used. Hoover my spirit was cumbersome, easily clogged and difficult to store. The Oreck is lightweight, efficient and easily stored. I 've been using my foundling for a year and only yesterday had to replace the belt. It wasn 't so difficult, 3 minutes at most. If this ever wears out, which shows no sign of doing, I would buy a replacement without hesitation. With 5 cats vacuum isn 'ta thing.

I recently baught 2 Oreck s classic "for our business and after seeing how well done there I had to buy one for my home. I don 't know what happened to the others who are registering complaints about but one thing is foresure ... My Oreck is incredible. R RWE 145 pounds have a St. Bernard that has a very heavy in the summer and Oreck pulls hair and dander with ease ... I had to make 3-5 passes to get all dirt and hair, but that is no different from other models I've owned. R rI would recommend it to everyone yet. My wife and I love using it and we know that this gap in the coming years.

I bought an Oreck XL 3610 and it is a piece of shit. Easy is what sold me, but it has no suction at all. waste of money buying everything .... but not an Oreck.

Like some other reviewers, also fell for all the hype and sales pitches all the gap. I was using a Panasonic model is cheap more than 10 years and thought I 'd splurge and get this empty real fantasy. That boy was a mistake from day one did not work at all. "I can smell a burning smell and smoke again in October was the vacuum belt. When I talked to the service center, they told me I should buy a big bag of replacement belts for this and I also need a maintenance contract. I had used only a dozen times more vacuum least before I put it in the garage and bought a cheap vacuum from Costco to use. My husband tried to fix Oreck several times could not t. So I lost more than $ 300 on this piece of junk.

Have I HAD this vaccuum for "a few years now, I'm so fed up with that goal That I Have Purchased a new Kenmore cans (The Grotesque) and this one is relegated to the upstairs. RFirst of all, I Never Would Have a vaccuum service na Often in my life. If you fall on it stopped working, and Service Needs. If you take a lot to stop working as of hair. If the plug from the outlet To become loose, it stops working. The service is horrible! Every time I go I get a reading from the service That I am too rough with a vaccuum, or I'm too vaccuuming FAST (what's gold !!!), Some other silly Exus Avoid Respect my warranty. If I m 'so hard you vaccuum, why haven t ' I Had Any issues with another brand? Hose That Comes With a handheld Is very fragile and quite easy to crack (Mine is patched with electrical tape) RThe. Icing on the cake Is my Kenmore ... When I was taking a TON of Oreck Better Than ... Even When Does the new Oreck. I know this fact because I just fill the bag at Oreck ounces each approximately 6 weeks, and I can fill in the week-ounce bags Kenmore ... it get more dirt and pet hair and HAD I Have .... My Kenmore for years now, and not "any problem with HAD everything (even with my so-Called quickly and vaccuuming rough). The reason only rThe I Have Given that 2 stars are for lightweight ergonomic design ... other than that this is completely useless.

It sucks and I don 't say dirt. RJust not made for plush, thick carpets. Do not collect the hair of the dog, and very little dust. I have to struggle to push it because they do not slip easilly. Creates a lot of tension back. RI may think that is good for wood floors or tiles, but not for carpets. Rone other thing is the base is so square that does not fall within any small area slot. If I could give this less than one ONE I would.

I asked for this vacuum for Christmas, and I was so excited to get it! But after it was all I knew it was not the vacuum for me. I 'm sure it works well on carpeted wooden floors, but for his terrible !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Every time I tried to vacuum up the kernel or a kibble, it would bounce off the brush! It isn 't worth it if you Have wooden floors!

I recently purchased the Oreck, after falling for the ads on television and in print, on the suction power and light weight advantage. I love the fact that isn 't heavy, and the suction is good, but the design is deficient, clogs nearly every time I use it. I have to disassemble and clean the entry area right behind the beater brush. It has an acute angle, and debris is trapped in them. I have long haired dogs and vacuuming a lot. If you suck on the small piece of paper or even a long leaf 1 / 2 inches, and blocks the hair won t 'up in the bag. I am very disappointed. I spent "about $ 300 and Had I known, I would have bought another 79.00 Bissell, he never obstructed.

I've had this machine for 5 years and have had only problems with it. I think I 'had to change the belt 30 times. Whenever you leave, so I m 'constantly having to leave the m ' re made to adjust the belt. That is no easy task. 5 screws to unscrew the bottom need to get the belt. The sales people say that the store is because we have to buy a contract for annual repair to ensure that all components operate properly. . We paid to what this contract should come with the thing! R rMost of the time I fell as I 'm just driving around and the earth ' s not always really sucking. I r r 'lasted so long with him just because I pay so much. Finally, I Can 't wait to remove the garbage is just when I find a replacement! R r use the vacuum cleaner hand little more than this, but please note with him much either. The cable was not made of quality materials and all that does is get himself into trouble and never direct tension. R rSorry Oreck, but please end with ' beautiful "ads! You won 't get again!

Hands down, this is a great void. It 's lasted my family for over 4 years, and I don ' t see any indication that it won 't last longer. It 's not like empty Kicking cheaper than you could find and other stores. R RIT does one thing (suck), and it does pretty well. Be forewarned if 's not going to pick up the Virtual Box jobs in one pass, as he have been led to believe in the infomercials. Recently we clean needles from someone that the real Christmas trees and found it was 5-7 going in the area to get all the needles collected. For normal home use, performs well. R RMY one real complaint is the size of the string. I don 't live in a big house with large rooms, by any means, but I have a problem of not reaching the core of one side of the room to another. Usually I have to connect the cable to a central place in the room and go there.
