This vacuum has better suction than expected for the price. It works excellent on my kitchen and hardwood floors. I would not recommend this type of vacuum for carpet - for carpet I would suggest a vacuum with a powered head designed for carpet (unlike this unit). R rthe color of the unit varies. Mine is blue. R rcorder retraction works great. The filter canister and are easy to empty and clean. No replacement parts necessary - simply run the filter and canister under water and air dry. R runit is very lightweight and easy to tug around. R rI highly recommend for light-duty everyday cleaning.

This vacuum is really bad. The Power button does not work. For new is really sad. Sent fast.

I Bought this 3 years ago to use on tile & terrazzo floors. The floor attachment is Badly Designed so it suctions to the floor! The hose is cheaply made & kinks often. For Even my low pile area rugs I Have To Get Even scrub to trash up the minimum. UGH! I can 't wait to replace it.

Bad design. This could have been a very good product. It is light weight and it has power, however, the design of the attachment is such that it is physically impossible to pick up dust or anything on a carpet or floor. I purchased it and returned it the same day.

This vacuum is lightweight and practical, but if you want a vacuum that sucks the dirt from the carpet, this is not your emptiness! Mine sucks the dirt from hardwood floors very well, but I have to vacuum nearly tenfold in the same place on the carpet for him to get the soft material. Makes a great carpet sweeper though because the Brushy thingys inside the mouthpiece brush hair thing and things off the carpet real good ... they want just don 't get sucked up, after that, they want to clear elsewhere back on the carpet ... :)
