It stops the chunk of dirt as expected. When cleaned regularly, it has lasted about 30 uses. Very good product.

I had a problem with the port of this device when I bought, but the seller has responded well and was shipped another unit. The unit works as promised and is certainly value for money.

Go Asked Vacuums and this filter is not any different from the non-washable. They said that Amazon controls the description and they can not change it. R RFilter can be washed without ruin, but taking a stiff nylon brush to it outside seems to work better.

it works and is washable so you can clean it and reuse it. If you have a dog that does Sheds like mine, this product is a must!
