At first, I was very disappointed. I have 14 years left Cheerios and crumbs all over the carpet. This sweeper will not 't take anything less than longevity or whatever is placed against the carpet, like a small tear paper. But after some trial and error, I found that if I pressed hard with a sweeper as I roll, it took a lot of things except really small crumbs. I 'm afraid that a sweeper or handle won ' t hold under the extra wear and tear pushed down so hard, but so far so good. This is a good sweeper to clean the baby after a few times a day, but still needed a thorough vacuum regularly.

Believe it or not, I bought this sweeper and put it in my suitcase and brougt up to my country in Europe! RI have been chasing this little sweeper for some time. There may be many others, meybe better workers, even less expensive ones .. But-as far as I know, this is the only sweeper with rubber blades washable .. r rthe other sweepers have brushes which work good but at the end, human and / or pet 's hair, cotton pieces or similar things on the floor, rolling around the brushes and stick there. After the several use, these things cause stop rolling and turning of the unit. So, you 'll have to clean the hair out of the brushes with your hands which is not good. Besides, there alwayas some amount of dirt stays in the brushes. r rBut, with the scotch brite sweeper, you take the rubber rollers out, wash them and wash all the pieces of the unit, under the running water.It becomes clean and shinny as it is brand new. (You may wash it in the dish washer, but I do not do that) rthe reason I give 4 stars is that the sweeper is not working well in the corners and at the edges. rSecond, I do not have a pet. I have no idea, if it is a good collector for pet hair. RThird, you have to move the unit forward and backward few more times to collect the stuff.The rubber is not as sticky as a brush. But it 's perfect in cleaning the house as well as the unit itself. R rto me, it ' s easy to use, well working, very practical, ideal for everyday use. Good on the surface, tiles and on the thin carpets and rugs. Great helper for working women, mothers with many kids, or babies. That's ideal for the students at their homes. This thing picks up everything from crumbs to cat hair. This product is more than enough for its intended use. I like it and would buy another for a family member.

I have this product and it works really well for picking up sand, dirt, food, etc.. from hard floors. It will pick up sticky rice from the floor! I love it and use this instead of a broom.

This is being demonstrated at Wal-Mart and bought one recently. I asked the protesters if they picked up pet hair. She said to buy and try it, and if I did 't like it to return. It only brushed the dog hair on the floor instead of picking it up. I have an old, single Bissell brush that does a better job than this gadget, but I 'm thinking about trying one of the newest audience I see higher than here at Amazon.
