Description

This is a replacement filter for Hoover Foldaway, and TurboPower 3100 models. Will fit the following Hoover models; U5170-900, U5172-900, U5175-900, U5179-900. Designed to fit Hoover part # 's 43615-090 (40130050). This filter should be replaced at least once a year. For men with severe breathing issues such as asthma, or people with severe allergies should replace this filter every 6 months. This is the main filter for the vacuum cleaner. The more often your replace this filter, the longer your Hoover upright BAGLESS will last you.

I have an older model Foldaway - one of the first to come out, and this filter did not fit my vacuum! Maybe the newer models have a diameter slightly smaller oval in the filter cup, but mine was just a tiny bit too big as the filter wouldn 't fit. Considering this is about 1 / 2 the price of them in stores like Wal-mart, I should have known you get what you pay for. I threw it away and promptly bought Fabreeze scented filters by Hoover in Wal-mart for approx. $ 13. They 're more expensive, but at least they fit! Don 't waste your money if you have an older model Foldaway vacuum.

After searching for a refill for my time and finally find it on Amazon I wasn 't too happy with the product. The product didn 't last as long as I expected. Don 't buy generic and stick to the Hoover brand.

I cannot tell the difference between these and the name brand ones-it does a great job and my hoover fits perfectly. I 've used probably 10 of these over the last year or two-it really holds the dog dander.

Seems to work fine. It fits my model. I don 't have any way to really show it to my old filter because the old one was in there for 5 + years. (Yeah, I know.) R Ri realize it 's "generic " filter but I can ' t tell any difference. Anyway, the prices are pretty good and it seems to get the job done. I 't really complain.
