This is an appropriate generic hose that Dyson, not just a hose that comes directly from Dyson. It is not hard / durable as a real Dyson hose. Destroyed in just a few uses. I called the company who did not want to replace it, but I 'badgered "them until they agreed to send another hose - which also broke in 3 months! I recommend you contact Dyson directly and explain the problems you ' re faced with the hose You. So They May be able to replace you at no cost. If not, spend the extra $ 15 and buy a tube from the Dyson website.

Dyson bought it believing it is a real replacement part. This is a common aftermarket hose made. It is difficult to see any difference in picture compared to your original hose, but it is not the same. Cheaper quality construction, and the fit is not good as the original.
