The good side, the motor is powerful and beater. The unit is nice in its compact size, but means that the dirt cup is really small. IMO the dirt cup should be twice the size it. R rBiggest the complaint is the hose attachment: cheap plastic and stable connection to the base. The first hose broke almost immediately, but we got a free replacement. But really it has little to suction hose. R rLastly, the first belt broke after only a few months, and it 's really a pain to change. It should be a flaw known as a special plastic "finger " cam tool box. R rFor price does not recommend this unit.

We really looked forward to using this specific pet hand vacuum. It really sounded good. RWE used the vacuum for a couple minutes on the rug and different locations we intended to pick up the hair. It worked just fine. A gob of hair and some dirt in the filter compartment. R RWE then connected the hose assembly. A little cumbersome but not bad. The suction checked and there was very little. I checked the troubleshooting guide and it said that it was probably the filter needed cleaning. It looked a little dirty, but after only 3 minutes of use, I wouldn 't expect it to be clogged. I cleaned it out by opening the trap door, but I had to remove the housing to get the hair out. I banged as much dirt and hair off the filter as I could and put it back together. I checked the suction and it was better but still not enough to pick up anything. I then removed the filter to check the suction of the vacuum itself and it was a little better but not anything to recommend. R rmy conclusion is that the filter fills up way to fast to be practical and it would be way to cumbersome to have to take apart the filter compartment after just a couple minutes of use. The hose attachment with the pet hair brush and the crevice tool looked as if it was going to be of great use, but it won 't work. This is a deal breaker. r RWE have returned the vacuum. To bad!

I bought this for my mother and she has used everywhere and it works. It even picks up the dog hair and dirt from your car. Great purchase.

Does anyone know how is this different from vacuum Dirt Devil 's own "classic " model? I'm looking at the specifications and pictures and they look exactly the same except for color and name. Engine, brush, bagless, filter, etc. The only difference I can see is this one for "owners of pets " costs more?! I was a bit skeptical when I first saw this little machine in a shop, but after arriving home and reading nothing but praises from critics, I had a request to me. Frankly, my sofa red dotted white hair French Bulldog opponent was not up for Pets Dirt Devil hand vacuum cleaner. I had to work super hard with my regular vacuum and its attachments to remove hair from my dogs, but with this little machine that was a quick, easy cleaning. I can 't recommend it enough. Do yourself a favor and pick one!

Great works of farmer quickly remove hair in the car, carpets, furniture, stairs and even the sheets. It will not suck your light blankets and rugs. Lightweight and very comfortable to hold. Unlike the Dyson animal hair remover when the pet is good, but difficult to use in small spaces because you have to connect it to the long extension tube. The cable is a good length and 's nice that there is an extension wand and brush. This vacuum is perfect. Cleaned up the dog 's hair around the house and the car this morning in minutes.

This little vacuum really does its job. I never made how much dog hair I had on my carpet. I was flabergasted! And with an expensive vacuum cleaner regularly access I thought all I needed was something small to vacuum my couch. When I tried it on my carpet that the hair came off was amazing. By two cats and a dog, I was looking for a workhorse of a hand-held Vac. This is it. This is really a good job. When I told my husband I had ordered it he said that he thought it was a waste of money. He now uses it all the time and loves it. For pet hair, it Can 't be beat.

This Dirt Devil pulled all the cat hair (3 cats) off of my couches, chairs and curtains. ALL. Not just rearranged the hairs. Them It sucked up into a nasty little ball of hair and dust spinning around in the see-through cup. Eeewww. I uploaded a picture of the cat hair I removed from 1.5 couches. Took me about 5 minutes. R rUntil I got this I 've Been using the velcro mit kind of thing and wiping down the couch, or Trying to heft the vacuum up to reach all the surfaces. Dust Buster on upholstery Was worthless of course. The mit removed about 60% of the hair and left the rest in parallel rows. My upright vacuum just couldn 't reach all the places it Needs to, and it ' s heavy. Its on-board tools are useless because They Have in the brush. Suction alone isn 't enough - you ' ve Got To Have That rotating brush. Which Brings us back to the Dirt Devil M0105 Purpose for Pets Hand Vac. R rthe Dirt Devil Has the huge Amount of power for a handheld. It makes a lot of noise, and sounds kind of like a belt sander When It 's on my couches. It works, so it Can make all the noise it wants. I Was That pleased my poofy pillow back couches didn 't get sucked into the rotating head, not even once. Nor did the curtains get jammed in the head. The cord is nice and long so you don 't Have to bother with an extension cord. The cup is easy to empty two ways - the push button hatch on the end to remove loose stuff, and the whole cup and twists off Easily filter to remove bigger wads That Get twisted around the filter. R rI haven 't bothered with the attachable tools yet. Nice touch, But I 'll Probably stick with my upright vacuum for tools. There Seems To Be a dead zone in the middle of the brush head - centered the faint trail of cat hair gets left behind. But That 's easy to clean up on the next pass or by wiggling the machine back and forth as you go instead of pulling it in a smooth straight line. Minor inconvenience. R rBuy it. You 'll Be pleased.

I have to agree with Brenda "Mother of Two ", the dirt cup is tiny. So, if you 're using it to pick up pet hair, be prepared to reach into the cup with your fingers to pull the pet hair out when you empty it. Of course, instead of using the small trap door, you can take all the cups, remove the rear panel filter and dump it that way. You will want to do that on occasion to knock dirt off the filter. R Rover all, however, the suction is acceptable for a hand vac, even tacky. The motor is strong enough to brush against the carpet turns easily without stalling. And, because the belt is in the middle of the brush, you can get fairly close to the corner and over the edge on both sides. My last hand vac is the belt at one end of making parts for ineffective vacuuming near walls. R RIT is a good long cord, but no place to store it. I 'm surprised they didn ' t put any specific design features cord storage speed. Bringing forward a bit to hold above the arch, is all that 's need to reel the cord around the body of the vac.
