I had looked forward to using this vacuum. However, it turned out to be a frustrating experience, because I could not remove the nozzle from the power the extension wand. Thus I was unable to use any of the other attachments. The phone consultation was of no help, and it was a LONG time before I received an email response.By that time, I had managed to vacuum the CRAM-carton into its difficult because I could not completely remove the power-Nozzle and return it to Amazon. I have stopped payment on this product.

After my canister vac Shark finally bit the dust, this was the only canister vac I could find after going to several stores. That was the main reason I bought it. We have four short-haired dogs, two of which shed a little. I have used this vacuum over a dozen times and now the word has more than a day or the equivalent of two of the accumulation of hair, the hair collects on the brush, it doesn t suck 'up in a vacuum. The first time it happened, I could not figure t 'why suddenly vacuum was not' t get anything so I turned the suction head upside down and found it completely clogged with dog hair. I ended up withdrawing about softball sized wad of hair from the head by the time it was made. My Shark never had a problem getting the hair or clogged with so I know what 's not just that we have much hair (other dogs, yes - but a reasonable amount of hair to hold a vacuum). I also have the iRobot Roomba and he deals with our floor without missing a beat. This Dirt Devil is a huge waste of money. You may very well open their doors and hope that the blows hair out. Our house is all wood or tile so I can 't comment on how this would present. R Carpet rEdited add: Just about a week after I posted this review, the "power nozzle" engine does not work. Besides actually bringing new dirt and dump it on the floor of mine, not me 'As if this product could get worse.

Very disappointed with this product. It makes a noise like a jet engine taking off, the vacuum head is heavy and bulky for manoever, the cord is ridiculously short, But worst off all, does not pick up small bits on the carpet, eg fluff, threads, beads generally bits and you are trying to aspire to, is that moves them or push them out of the way - not just pick them up at all!
