B & D blower / vacuum cleaner was a replacement for the previous model year, which has years of rservice . I "give it an exceptional year, although the hand causing stronger and more vibration rover that my previous model. The price was right and it is easy to change and a rforth between the fan and vacuum modes. The little "thingee " connection to Rof under the fan that moves rapidly from right to left is a very nice touch! B & D Well Done! r rit was delivered on time and perfectly packaged and simple instructions the same.
So far so good. Not much yard work since I received this winter. I noticed it has a lot more power then my previous B & D fan. R rservice from Amazon was first class.
I received my B & D fan on the dates specified. I was worried at first because of poor packaging or no packaging, all parts were throwned in a big box. But everything was there more parts I didn 't wait and nothing was damaged. Were all parts and instructions new leaf blower / vacuum works very well. I recommend.
I bought this for my husband for Christmas. He was out and using "play " with it in a few hours. He seems very happy. He tried a small area and said it worked well.
The collection of sheets of pork has a large capacity, even for wet leaves packed, but lacks the capacity for large quantities. I plan to get the hose connection from a large container to reduce the frequency of bag emptying.
works well as a blower, but as he aspires leaves, litter doesn t 'almost like they wanted.
Used for about 2 hours on its maiden voyage, and everything went well. It was easy to assemble and easy to use. Worn only part of the vacuum, but it was quite powerful enough, and a lot rests on the stock exchange. The leaves finely chopped, to be used for coverage and in my garden lasagna.
Two speed setting is a great feature, swinging hand attachment leaf blower nozzle, which has moved to thick blanket of leaves quickly and efficiently. Runit that has a good balance, it was easy to use for 1-2 hours it took to collect leaves from 3 very large trees. In addition, it helps to clean up after mowing grass cutting. Have no complaints looks like a solid unit. Did not use a vacuum can not comment on that.
Easy to install and easy to use. Easy switching between blower and vac. R HVAC bag should not be supported on the shoulders. Fills very fast and not too easy to empty. His burden in this way.
I own the original model of the Leaf River, which is good for 5 + Performed yrs.with the original bag and tube adapter BV006 and collar for a trash can. With a quarter hectare pages I wanted a second, so maybe even spouse and son could lead to a reduction in workload. The LH4500 is more robust than the original and with a metal-plastic impeller instead of a better job of crushing. It 's well-balanced and easy to manipulate. The vibrant agile works well to want to sell papers, that remain stuck to the floor. And sends a good regular agile Sharp Blast. The adapter for the BV006 One critic said that B & D wanted wasn 't it too, but exposure to B & D had quickly one in the mail on their nickel. It ' in the perfect fit. I can even the pocket of my 5 yr. old machines with him. For those complaining about the noise, common sense (and the owner 's Guide to complain, pg. 2) show the use of ear plugs. Unwieldy for complainers about the bag, just try to readjust the balance, as it fills. If the shoulder belt wears on you, take an old face cloth and wrap it around the belt, where it rests on the shoulder. We hope that the LH4500 and the original Leaf River serves. With a 2 yr. Warranty offers, B & D is a good product.
I bought it as a vaccuum to reach into the conference room I can 't able to rake or blower. It just does not work. Always clogs intake tube. Even if it really sucks them dry leaves, very slow It seems Like That Only a Waste of Time. And on the rare occasions it works When the bag is filled within two seconds. It is heavy too! I only use it as a blower now. It 's pump is ok.
The price was great and the product live up to its advertising. Thank you to all those who have reviewed this product. You opinions 's helped me make a good decision.
This product before my height is 5 '4 "and light enough for me to carry around. It has very deep blow powerful action that actually looked like the yard soft When I got to do.
Is Actually I was surprised by how good this blower / vacuum work. This is a Power of Attorney as a gas blower and not bother to deal with the cable noise is less counterbalanced by the AND NOT HAVE to deal with the gas mixture. vacuum work is too large and the meat with about a 15 gallon bag. Switching from blowing to vacuum is very easy too. You Can If You Need To Reach around with a cable 100 ', then I would recommend that LH4500
I wanted to love this sheet pig. For the first day was the owner, I wanted him. The honeymoon is over but, not all is rosy as I thought the. Here s 'Our point of view: r rPros ----- r r1) Pajot leaves very effectively manage r2) to significant problems with obstruction r3) Lightweight, easy to maneuver R4 ) easy to change a blower / vacuum r5) Inexpensive RI r Mainly bought this to help me turn left on Fuller's earth. This makes it very well. Now I have "almost 2 cubic feet of shredded leaves to shred it and use a hand to service the compost heap. I thought it was easy to assemble, and 's easy to operate. R rCons r ----- r1) bag collection is of very poor quality r 2) The engine is loud unpleasant r3) Parts Don t fit 'and R4) The vibration is excessive, and may cause problems Health r news rBad ... the collection bag is perforated and a few tears the second time I used it. The bags run $ 15 - $ 20 more or less. If I had to replace one of the season might not be so annoying. But in this type of I 'll be spending on bags each year, more than the initial cost of the fan itself. unacceptable. r rand _loud_ this sucker is. It ' s not really a problem for me since I put a good protection for the ears while flying machines in this way, but I worry about peeve 'll my neighbors if I use often. r rWhile was Easy to assemble, the plastic tube that attaches to the engine box is adjusted wrong. portions of some dust and other debris fly out of the larger contact area where the pieces Mr. 't meet sufficient strength. r rthe greater negative _for me_ this product is that the vibration is excessive. What 's the big deal if it vibrates a lot, you preguntaràs? Besides being uncomfortable to hold, you can actually bring problems with the nerves of the hands and arms. There is something 's called Hand Arm Vibration Syndrome (SVMB) that could become the repeated use of tools like this. I ' m not knowing exactly what happened in my case (I do 't I ' SVMB '), but when I used twice the hands and fingers remain entumida was applied over a prolonged period "of time. To "prolonged period" "I mean two to three days. Now put me on the floor next to a pile of leaves and leaves in the guide tube. Works fine. Ref R I found the reception , thinking 'm returning it due to faulty / low quality collection bag. If I could I tried to like the Toro Ultra 12 Amp Variable Speed Blower / vacuum booster with Metal # 51599 is supposedly much quieter - and also vibrates less fortunate. r RI Don 't that Black & Decker is a bad product. It works perfectly, and does so without a lot of pizazz or sanding. Given the price, I ' t really complain as it performs. Obviously something about my ISN physiology not compatible with the vibrations produced, but I Don 't expect this to be a problem for most people.
This is the third leaf vacuum I Have Purchased and it is by far the best. Primarily I use it as a leaf blower and vacuum vice Outstanding suction it has. The metal mulching blades are really good and a great Improvement over the plastic type. Well worth the money. I highly recommend it.
Black & Decker LH5000 12 Amp Variable Speed Electric Leaf Hog Blower / Vacuum Bag with Zipper-Less Leaf Rafford, lightweight, works well, good value
I bought the Black & Decker LH4500 leaf hog back in September of 2008 has started When the leaves fall. It is now January 2009 and hope all the leaves are finally down. R Ri Was initially very suspicious of this Black & Decker products being comfortable with Other products from low quality, but my rating of this product is excellent. It really sucks up leaves and shreds. Both use it to pick up piles of leaves and suck leaves from the tops of my junipers Where do they rake disease. It is very empowering and has no problem sucking up and munching Both leaves and twigs. R rthe leaf bag while initially very confusing is really a great design that Allows You To Quickly empty the bag and reseal it. As usual, the manual for the product sucks, but it gathers 11:00, it is easy to use. R rPros: What it says. Easy to use extension cord retainer. Easy empty bag. Very Powerful and Very Powerful leaf vac leaf blower. R rCons: Difficult to switch between 'vacuuming and blowing. Until You Have Done it a few times, it is very confusing and the manual is no help at all. I hardly ever switch from vacuum to crack it, But That's just me. The shoulder strap for the bag is too narrow and cuts into my neck. I almost threw away the bag closure 'When I assembled the unit because I could not figure out what is it for the Was. Also the new closure 'as easy to use requires a lot of hand / arm strength to remove it. I found that spraying it with silicone spray made it easier to slide the plastic inside the bag. Also, silicone spray makes it a lot easier to remove / collect bags of leaves from the engine and also to remove / gather blower or vacuum components. R rAnnoyances: No way to put the hog leaves falling down Completely without it making it more difficult to pick up again. If they want Denied There Was Good way to put it down so Was it easy to pick up again. There has been a little something 20 When You Are, But gets bent over more difficult When you pass 60. R rNotes: Since the fan and vacuum parts are separate pieces it is easy to lose track Where Have you stored it. The variable speed control works well, but is a bit of an overkill. I find I use it only Maximum speed. R Rall, everyone, I am happy with the product, but time will tell if the quality is there.
For many years I have longed for and dreaded fall, had two very different homes with trees. I finally found the cure. Out of the box and working in 5 minutes and reduced hours and hours of raking and bagging to 45 minutes of vacuuming, and dumping leaves, pine needles, twigs, and an unhappy dog toys (soft, mind you). Professionally I design products and this has met my high standards so far. Of course I hope to many years of use out of it.
Used twice and that makes me say that this thing is strong and resilient. I never got my leaves it done as fast and handles wet leaves with the problem. CHOPS Ramos is too small. This is by far well worth the purchase. I bought the Toro collapsible 43 gallon bin that works very well. I also bought the BV-006 for this attachment, but does not fit. I contacted B & D and they are sending an attachment to the LH4500 me as soon as possible. The accessory will be included in future boxes LH 4500.
I bought this unit today and used it for about three hours. I must say I'm impressed. It also works a fan, and I was particularly impressed with his performance as a vacuum. R rI 13 large bags of shredded leaves. If mathematics is to believe (16-1 ratio) which means that I had to bag 208 bags with leaves would. Obviously this is a little exaggerated, but it is definitely a good job. R RI has been working with wet leaves this kind of wet on the bottom of the piles, it was a little slow going, but not clog the unit a lot. Clogs have been easy by popping off the pickup tube (fixed no tools needed) and removing the debris. The unit is slightly small sticks and whatnot as well. R rA great buy for the price.
