These bags are made by 3M, not exactly a fly by night organization. I am not sure why other people had a problem with them, but they worked as expected for me. They hold dirt, dust, hair, and everything else that gets sucked up. They also do not loose suction as the bag fill up. R rThe whole bag setup is a little strange on the Miele, SO THAT MIGHT HAVE SOMETHING TO DO WITH other people having trouble .....

This bought to replace my Miele bags - numbered Filtrete is a good brand and these should be a good, cheaper alternative. Wrong. The plastic fittings are too thin and too flexible to create a good seal - so there 't doesn collect the particles in the bag and allows them to pass it on. My error is - from the stick with the real thing.
