I just returned my Miele jazz after only 2 uses. I bought a Miele to replace the Dyson Animal, which works well for two years, but recently seemed less effective. R rPROs of jazz Miele: Very easy to maneuver (such as the Dyson ball swivel motion), low front end of the match easily under cabinets and furniture with a low profile (like the sofa and Dressers), super quiet, Powerful Suction, beautiful work on the carpet and hardwood. R rCONs On my second use, the plastic part of the underbody of the starting design and prevent drag vaccuum. The front of the engine underbody is metal, but the middle and rear plates are very lightweight bendable plastic. Pieces that dragged on my machine is a small plastic tab on the left wheel, under the pedals. There are two plastic tabs, one on each side, next to each wheel. Another feature that I wasn 't crazy about: the Hose is too short to vaccuum a complete set of steps - you need support with vaccuum steps while you are working with attachments to make it all the way up or down, the vaccuum is heavy on the side, and handle a little uncomfortable. I think little things are, and will be happy to stay with them for the cleaning performance Miele. R rUltimately, for the price, Miele had to get more miles. I returned my Miele for a refund. I think the bottom plate design with two thin plastic tabs that problem and I would not recommend this vaccuum purchase unless you can be sure of a Full Refund of retail.
I can say without a shadow of a doubt that this is, by far the best vacuum I have ever used, and I have tried them all. I've been a user of an animal Dyson and hated, because I hate not having a bag. The collector of dust becomes disgusting and difficult to clean, so I moved to an Oreck. I loved the lightweight Oreck and so did a good job. R rNow my friend went to a charity auction, and returned home with the S7 Honey, how strange. But I gave this vortex and OMG I was in love. This thing is whisper quiet, you can actually empty, while the baby sleeps. The vacuum bag is worth it, not a specific leak dust, which is perfect because I 'm dust sensitive. Finally, it really takes it all, the suction is superb. Oh yes, it 's highly maneuverable as well. R rit is still tad on the heavy side, but only because the build quality is so good. Despite this it is easy to vacuum my entire house without getting tired. R RSO, unless you need a lightweight vacuum, this is what to buy? will be very satisfied. I ended up buying one the next day after trying it.
I brought home my brand new jazz from a local dealer CMW Central Vacuum. RStarted using it when I got home after Reviewing the manual. The vacuum works great, from continuous medium pile carpet, low pile to scale to my floors it got it all. Very maneuverable, and quiet. The Hose reached all but the very top step from the floor of my Staircase. R rTwo nitpicks in design is that THE PULL OUT from UNDER THE Hose power cord so you have to flips the cord out of the way, not a big deal but would be an improvement if the power cord was just below the Hose. You also have to hold the handle of the vacuum when pulling out because the Hose swivels and it will pivot on you left as you pull out the Hose from the right. R rAnother nice feature and my old vacuum had this but many do not is a handle located on the lower vacuum to make it easier to carry on steps. This is really nice, having this by the weight of the vacuum is more central to where you pick it up. You just have to try with and without one for yourself. R rNow the ugly .. After using it for a little over an hour it started making a clicking sound at random, not very loud but enough that I DID NOT want to continue using it. I took it back and the dealer has it for repair. I called Miele and asked them for a new one, and they would not comply. Needless to say I think a $ 750 vacuum should be replace with a new one if it days in the first 30 days. If this noise eat back after the repair and the warranty is up I 'll be stuck with a lemon. I 'd expect more from Miele. I hope they are listening. R RI can only give this 1 star vacuum due to the way my broken vacuum Miele Handle. I will gladly update the review after I use it more and if you eat Miele around to replacing it.
