I am a user for about 5 years Miele. I used this bag for a new generation for the first time, and must say they did a disservice to consumers by redesigning it. It's a case of something to work better on paper than in practice. They put a little spring loaded valve opening in the bag, which is supposed to end after the unit is turned off to keep the contents of her bag to leave. Only problem, once the bag starts to son, the accumulated hair, and prevents the valve closure. The bag was a plastic old thing you Rolling slides up to close the opening when removing the bag for disposal. This is not in the redesign, you must carefully manage the bag on the way to the trash or content is reversed.
