I 've had this vacuum for over a year and I absolutely do not suffer! To the tank is empty, you must unscrew the cyclone, what of him and bang it against the garbage can and it is a huge cloud of dirt - and there is no way to clean the inside of the cyclone thing - the dirty and gross. Then you have to clean the tank and the rubber seal on the bottom of the tank is not flush, so that cleaning is a layer of dirt around the rim that you have. Why should they make a vacuum, where the bottom of the container open ????? Filled with earth and leaves the dirt in my house! And I dont mind a heavy vacuum, but I have a ton of stairs in my house, and there is no handle to help carry. I 'm after another vacuum, because I hate hate hate this one! I miss my old Bissell. Never buying a Hoover, that's the stupid draft vacuum ever!

Suction is great, but it is heavy and difficult to manuver, emptying the filter filter is difficult and complicated. Brush won 't turn only in the lowest position after 3 uses. Are strong squeaking noises. I have just returned item.

I own the vacuum from 12/10/2009. It does a great job on carpets and picking up dog hairs with the on-off switch for the brush does a good job on bare floors as well. The handle on the pipe is very nice short hair when using hand tools from the company. The vacuum is heavy therefore need more time to do a tube down the stairs. I did not come with a bare floor brush attachment or so I order this online. Find a tube that has become a problem because the company I ordered to send the tube wromg and now will not accept the return. Filter cleaning is not fun. Now I have two dogs, but vacuum twice a week, but if the filter is clogged I usually use another vacuum of clear and clean. After a month of use there is a sharp Fiesta when I boot. Although not an expert in vacuum, I think that might be the belt that drives the brush.

This vacuum walks circles around my 10 years of Hoover vacuum windtunnel bagged. If you have children and pets, you vacuum every day like me. My house is small and so my budget, then this model covers all the bases available to me. Empty the collection box is a little confusing, so it's worth to me never having to buy bags again. I empty it into a grocery bag closed, and I 'm sure I ' ll get better at this over time. With a lot of cat hairs to pick up that was "left behind by my old vacuum, I had to brush the filter several times, again, not a big deal for me. The hose is tough and long-term, and feature to kick out is another. I like the fact that the batter does not run the vacuum inside When upright, and has a power switch for hard floors. It makes a squeak when stopping and starting, that bothers me a little. I only gave this product 4 stars for now, the goal will update after owning a few "months.
