I had a checklist when shopping for a new vacuum. Living in an apartment in SF Studio 500, I need a vacuum with a small footprint, no hose unpleasant, no external cables, and yet it should be pleasing to the eye since storage is always a problem less than 500 SF "box ". Besides the latter had to inhale the dust. This Dirt Devil is perfect. It works great on my hardwood and tile floors (about "floor" mode), then I go to "carpet" mode and it works fine on my two rugs, one of which is a vintage Rya Shag! And it gives great prestige to, in my kitchen! I 'm happy.
I have hardwood floors, throw rugs, 2 dogs, 2 cats, 10 year old, and a husband who Wears his shoes all day long going from indoors to out repeatedly. Keeping my house clean on a regular basis was a difficult task. I 'm sure if you are looking at this type of vacuum you too have a lot to clean and not much time or energy. I love this vacuum! 15 minutes a day zooming around the house to pick up dirt and hair FULL OF Canister. It is so lightweight and maneuverable and the battery lasts all the way until the main areas of the house are done and / or the Canister Becomes sheet. I 've had it for over a month and it handles my daily use heavy duty very well. I am sure to thoroughly wash the dirt and Canister filters after every use (easy to sink with spray) to keep it at maximum performance. A few things like screws and Kibble won 't get picked up, but the Tumbleweed Icky jurisdiction are now under control in my home. I can go effortlessly from the hardwood to the throw rugs (it doesn 't suck them up) and then over to the kitchen tile. This vacuum is quick and easy enough that I want to use it, which is definitely not true about the gold standard size Corded Vacuums ol 'Broom. I used to other reviews on Amazon chose this vacuum and all of the positive reviews were right. I am very happy with my choice!
The most important thing to say is that I will - with all my heart - recommend this product, and unconditionally. I would recommend it and I'll buy it again, without hesitation. R RWE always do thorough research before buying the tool and I must say that the agent and consumer customers a wireless wand reviews of Vacuums in the map more than any other item we 'd been studied in a long time. So it might be helpful to learn more about how we use this to find out whether our opinions are relevant to your situation? If so, here are some facts: r r - We have lots and lots of floor tile is very dark wood, which shows EVERY piece of dirt. In addition, boards have a little space in between, which capture every bit of dirt and needed suction to remove (ie, Swiffer and dustmops don 't get it out). R - We have an indoor cat with long hair are generous in sharing his fur. In addition, he ate kibble, toss around and enjoy the catnip tracking cats everywhere. R - Light tile floor in our bathroom to make sure that all the hair from our blowdry appear immediately. R - We have a lot of carpet, a woven / low nap, some looped, a few more pieces in the pile. R - my bachelor's degree in Audiology, the noise level is very important so mature for me. R - I have been very, very, very tired of the endless hours of boring and ineffective Most sessions with all kinds of thread rollers and pet hair removal tools on the furniture and pillow-lined window seat. Not only is not effective, they eventually become useless ongoing costs. Rand : r - I HATE CLEANING FLOORS. R rBut: I 'm pleased with this small cordless VAC. RStrong straw! especially appreciate the fact that you can flip a switch to get away from the roller brush for carpets without a brush for hardwood and avoid scratching the wood floors and tile like that. Easy empty dust catcher. He set up quickly and it 's Energy Star rated (after the battery is charged, he stopped pulling power; good for the environment and for the battery). As for the noise: it 's equivalent to my blowdry ' s low power settings. It 's not silent, but it ' s not too hard or painful. I have been surprised by how well things are annoying along the edge and in the corners under cabinets - no need to sweep into the room first. I can get all the way back in the bread 's shelf for a fairly low profile and made her head spin so easy to walk around and table legs whatnot. It ' s so light that I can easily lift to clean the window seat cushion (kitty 's favorite perch) and my carpeted stairs and pulled the pillow Cathair in ONE pass (vs. have to use the lint roller countless / scrubber pet hairs!) r rin number, if you use this tool for the purpose of ( quick touchups), I can 't see why you ' d be anything but happy. It 's not going to clean the carpet pile depth in the final or long enough for you to do a big part of your house and you can ' t leave the ground for twelve baskets used without emptying. But it 's not meant to do all that. This is what you grave to keep things neat and when you see an unexpected visitor attraction to the front of your house. R rHas two-year warranty as well. R RMY husband said he fully expected to wake up in the middle of the night to find my vacuuming. Seriously. I've changed.
PROS: Ryes, has great aspiration. Ryes, the brush Itsy Bitsy works reasonably well on the carpet. Ryes, it is easy to clean. R rCONS: rthe charge no more than most, lasts only 10 minutes! Rit, will not fully charge the least for the run completely dead! Rit is quite complicated to use and does not slide under a lot of furniture. RCannot contact Customer Service r rI absolutely, totally, positively NOT recommend this to anyone. I am sorry I bought this. I could not find any site anywhere on how long the charge would have passed and I was a fool to buy it anyway. R RI live in a house a very small room and tried to use it as fast as I could in high traffic areas only and still has only about 40% done. I have a rainbow for regular vacuuming and just need it to pick up on quickly.
I have owned other vacuums Stick Dirt Devil, but none were as powerful and enduring power as a long term one. I love it and it is so easy to use. My best buy Dirt Devil!
This vacuum is for what it is perfect. I like the fact that the AccuCharger won 't drain the battery, such as what happens on my Dustbuster. This requires very frequent cleaning of the suction stay up to date, although it 's not difficult. The Dirt Devil makes a very loud, shrill noise, especially when it 's not 100% clean, but I can absolutely live with that. It 's so beautiful, so clean up after our dog and spilling dirt from our child's feet. The rotating brush will help pick up dirt in our carpet. We use this vacuum almost daily.
Buy it from Amazon to replace my order one ... The older one worked great until .. I broke it .... I slammed it against something hard and has absolutely nothing .. Don 't ask me why ... but that happened and I had to replace it with a new one .. R rCONS r-the suction isn 't the best ... Ruser have to hold the vacuum with a specific angle for the suction to be perfect .. R-only good for small trash and dust ... Often larger waste arrogant and users have to dig it with your fingers ... R rPROS r-charge time is very short r-will not do so any room for people who care about the internal format - it will look fine and sometimes unnoticeable if you put it right next to a small table or corner. R-easy grip and easy to use r-for students and for people with APTS (studios 1 bedroom) is a great vacuum! R rfor IUSE to me almost every day to clean the dust and my dog daily 's fur off the floor, and it ' sa great products for what I 've paid. ROVERALL it is a decent vacuum!
I bought this '09 December After about two weeks of research on lightweight vacs. I needed one that could handle: lots of dog hair (Retriever / spitz mix!), Four children, the usual kitchen scraps, carpet, flooring, tile and carpet nap very low (phew!). We also have leaves often small, wood stoves, and wood debris of logs being brought home. In the past, tried Bissell Sweep Turbo (breaking Maintained) and Shark (new version with a side brush, battery died a year after brush roll and was so full of hair that was a pain to try to keep it clean). Tired of empty batteries die or die! R Ar vacs big problem with wireless is that, inevitably, the battery will die on you, because within a year of "overload " it. I really liked this vac has a "smart charger" that only carries the vac you need and then you reduce the load to a wire so that the battery is not overloaded. The charger base is about the size of a spade and keep the vac in place as well, so you 'll need a place on the floor that you can park it. Handle folds down if that makes a difference in their storage options. R rFirst , the "con": plastic body feels a bit fragile, it is odd (but possible), in stages, the whole empty body of swivels and not when you just pivot the nozzle and it takes a while to I used to, it is not ergonomic and begins to feel empty hand "heavy" after a while (I can still use the vac, with only my index finger wrapped around the end of which helps to insure). Also, if you're cleaning a very dirty carpet, the dirt cup will fill quickly and will lose suction. R RNOW the "pro ": REALLY vac picks this stuff up! I Amaze with the amount of dog hair, crumbs, etc. will bring to this thing! (Goodbye, tumbleweeds doggie!) Suitable for kitchen, scatter rugs get clean without being sucked into the vacuum, great on tile, wood and low nap carpets. I also like the brushroll on / off feature so I can go from carpet to wood with ease. Gets the clean edges as well. The head of the vac is smaller than I thought, so if you can 't get the edges clean goes along with it, I get it clean coming right at the edge. Now things like dog food and pellets air soft (two boys) will be rattling around Vacuum them, so I usually end up emptying the dirt cup, if that happens. Noise is moderate, it is, after all, a vacuum. Noise increases slightly, the dirt cup is full. Initially fully charged in less than six hours, and again put it back in its base and will charge only what it needs (charging light turns off when fully charged is empty again). Not used enough to deplete the battery I try to keep it 's continued use of 10 minutes.Two-year warranty on it, which I think is above average. After I empty my den carpet, and then use each other regularly on the floor, I use my really big vac to clean the filter and filter as that is the key to getting good suction with this type of VOC. This thing takes up much dog hair and dirt in general I have to empty the cup of dirt at least eleven o'clock when I use in my den carpet, but not having to carry my 21 - pound sears vac is worth about . If the dirt cup was great, it would be almost perfect! Currently I use my Swiffer sweeper pole timber and it seems that it will pay for itself vac Within six months of having to buy refills Those who do all the time! So I think the only thing left now is how long this will last! R PSURs: The button to release dirt cup that looks down quickly, but you actually have to press up on it or you can break it! Moreover, the patterns deeply area rugs, it does a good job, but once again special carpet and everything else I mentioned, it does. Hope this helps!..
