Reviews
We bought this machine several months ago, and have tried in various places throughout the house. The consensus is that the vacuum works well on carpets, it is easy to empty and light to carry up the stairs. The disadvantages are the attachments and performance on hard surfaces - "useless " is the comment on the prevailing characteristics.
I decided to try a bagless vacuum cleaner after my 9 year old Kenmore upright bag developed a funky, musty smell that I could not escape 't get rid of it. After doing a lot of research, I chose this Bissell Prolite 175G. I 've now used several times, including all attachments. Here 's my summary: r rPros: rSuperior aspiration - is up more dust, dirt and pet hair that my old vacuum. Selection RAttachment - turbo brush and deluxe floor work great, flexible wand is a bit pants rLong complicated, but useful once you get the hang of it. - Pull the tube from the front handle and runs through about 10 feet. Reasy empty - literally two buttons to push, one to remove the canister from the VAC, a second to release the bottom for emptying (a little messy, to see disadvantages below). Rauto height adjustment - I was a little worried about this feature, but it works well. I used to have my old vacuum set very low to beat the carpet strongly with the brush, thinking it would help to remove the animal hair. This gap slightly brushes the top of the carpet without leaving deep "blank marks " in the carpet, but the abundance of soil suction and removes animal hair. - RNoise vacuum quieter than my old (still a bit noisy as all are empty, but bearable, I can hear the phone ring, while 's running). R rcon: rNot that - light wouldn 't want to move up and down a lot of stairs. RMessy emptying - this what one of my concerns about a bag, and you must be very careful not to have dust flying everywhere. RNO blocking attachments - some are quite good, but the extension tube tends to fall quite easily. RNO board storage for Attachments - you 're stored separately in a bag included. R rOverall, very pleased with this vacuum. Of course, I'm with the replacement of a technology much more! I think it 'll be satisfied with the bagless style, but I ' m not waiting for the cleaning of the container.
This vacuum has interesting design, very good suction and easy to use. Satisfied with the purchase.
I 'm not going to exaggerate and say that this is the best ever empty, but for the price and performance I can highly recommend it. Aspiration is good and the design allows you to easily get under furniture. Even with the dust collector lens (which is very easy to empty) you 'll be amazed at what was on the floor that you weren ' t aware. A minor flaw is that most of the accessories are not "on board. " A bag is provided to store them in. All in all, a good product.
I found the Bissell Prolite 17G5 Multi-Cyclonic Bagless Upright Vacuum Cleaner to be a winner on several points, but still needs some work on others. r rpro 's r1. Great suction! This vacuum really pulls the dirt out of the rug. I tried the machine on a hallway rug that had just been vacuumed the day before and it picked up nearly half a container of hair, dust and lint. R2. Great brush action! As noted above, the brushes on this machine this brought the dirt to the surface of the rug very well. R3. Easy assembly. Two screws and 10-minutes. R4. Separate buttons for power suction and brush. R5. Long cord! R rcon 's r1. The attachment hose and attachments are somewhat clunky and a little hard to handle. While they include several good ideas, the overall implementation just doesn 't quite cut it. r2. The portable brush works very well to pick up lint and cat hair off of upholstery, as long as you can hold it at just the right angle, but it is very difficult to get at all sides of a chair (etc) and keep the attachment at the right angle. r3. The "elbow " used for sweeping under furniture, is quite hard to handle. R4. The machine is just a little heavy for a vacuum that is designed to be "lite ". r rOverall, this machine has a-lot going for it, but needs some tweeking to make it to five-stars.
This is the second Bissell vacuum have bought and I 'm satisfied with both. Excellent suction power and easy to use. Bissell Great job!
This is a wonderful vacuum! The cleaning power is amazing, and surprisingly quiet. In general, a vacuum is lightweight - perfect for carrying up stairs. However, stretch hose for attachments is heavier than I expected. It is difficult to get the corners and behind things in my house. I lose the light of this unit, but when I realize that something is lightweight which means your favorite features may be missing. In addition, attachments are not stored on board, kept in a bag of accessories. R ref want the perfect home vacuum, I the 16N5 Suggest Bissell Healthy Home Bagless Upright Vacuum Cleaner 12 Amp. If you have to have an empty lighter, then go with the Bissell 17G5 PROLITE Multi-cyclonic bagless upright vacuum cleaner.
I bought this broom for my 86 year old mother who still keeps her own home. She needed something lightweight and easy to use and keep clean. She loves it and so I swept him Pls help me sometimes. No bags no mess.
Over the past months, our family had the opportunity to experience various vacuum side by side in our house and we 're starting to have a good grasp of what makes a good vac. The main thing we've Vacs 'been using are the Bissell 17G5, the Bissell 16N5, and the Dyson DC15. R 17G5 ras Bissell extent that the gap will, I 'd say it's a great machine if you are willing to live within its limitations. Indeed, knocking out the biggest, most expensive 16N5 into several categories - and really exalted in small areas. R rHere are the main advantages found in 17G5: r1) the 17G5 is much more maneuverable than the 16N5, it feels clunkier. Indeed, the 17G5 is the level of the DYSON more in this area, though the Dyson is a more potent vaccine. R2) the 17G5 has an automatic height adjustment for carpet, which is missing the 16N5. This really seems a surprising omission in most vac because it really is a good resource. R3) For you, 17G5 is just the perfect size to hide away in a cabinet, but most 16N5 is simply too big for that. R 17G5 rthe is less than the Dyson and 16N5, and there is a compact size for that price. Here are the disadvantages that we ran into: r1) the 17G5 Vacs has an engine 12 amperes as others, but it doesn 't really seem to have the same amount of suction on the carpet. For example, we aspire to our rooms upstairs with 17G5 COMPLETELY and then immediately followed on the same area with the 16N5 - 16N5 bigger really got more dirt than the smallest unit was the first race. (In our previous tests, we could not 'really detect a significant difference in years between the suction Dyson vacuum cleaners and 16N5.) R2) The 17G5 cable is several feet shorter than the cable that limits the smallest 16N5 vac small area unless you 're willing to be constantly in motion, that is connected. The Dyson really has the largest cable group, since it is 5 feet longer than the 16N5. R3) in 17G5 the attachments are not stored in vac as the other units. This ta probably isn 'big deal in most cases - but can be a hassle to go find the accessory bag on the times when they are needed. R4) A propane canister 17G5 has a smaller than any of the other units. This makes a big difference if you have pets that shed a lot. R rThere other significant differences that can 't really be classified as either for or against. For example, the vacuum head in the 17G5 isn 't as big as the other Vacs you won ' t be able to cover much space each with a jerk - but it also makes it possible to get into smaller areas where the 16N5 struggles to get bigger. R rOverall , I think the Dyson vacuum is probably the best of the bunch - but it is significantly more expensive and I 'm sure that ' s really something much better than the other two. If you are trying to decide between the 16N5 and 17G5, the size of the space needed to cover the void is probably the most important factor. As I mentioned, the 17G5 is easier to store and maneuver than the larger 16N5 excel and really seems to stay in smaller areas. For larger areas, I 'm NOT sure it would be really happy with it.
When the mother asked what I wanted for Christmas, I told you really need a new vacuum cleaner. When he moved to my first apartment I bought my own What could allow a lightweight bagless upright $ 70 stated that 'same power as a full size vertical. "Sounded good to me. I like it was a) cheap b) small (I have a small apartment with not a lot of storage). But (pardon the pun) were raised! I have long hair and thicker than 3 cats and I was in constant need to clear obstructions and clean the brush. So my mother took me shopping and pick out something I said. I finished the Election Bissell ProLite (and I 'll be honest here) above due to aesthetics. I imagine you quite get what you pay - possibly on different vacuums in this price range really? models that seemed a little smaller comme au (remember, I have a small apartment and not a lot space) and I really enjoyed your elegant look. r RLIKE others mentioned, the installation was very easy, literally. You add the top and bottom of the screw in. I started " cleaning and was in heaven. I could not t 'believe the dust and skin and hair and who knows what else was left on my carpet, my other things never picked up empty. Emptying waste est aussi very convenient - just remember to open the bottom * and * more garbage and not by accident in your carpet (but if it does, its good as the ProLite just suck it back up as if nothing happens). R RNOW bad (and why I gave it 3 stars instead of 5 that I would yew good cleaning characteristics). R RLIKE Another reviewers, the extension tube / hose is very annoying. I 'voice was having a hard time putting it out again. Besides that just want to keep spiraling and doesn 't have enough land to go before reaching the gap. I could get over the fact that you can not store the tools on board if not t 'because the tools are a pain to work with in the first place. R rand Now, the truly horrible experience, as a couple other critics, is only my 2nd day of use I had problems with the power button: you wouldn 't turn off. The bed was the starting button was not working and still the gap, pressing the Power button DID anything. Hmmm ... That s strange, I thought, Objective bigs, I 'll just disconnected. However, the day when I go to empty again turn wouldn t 'on. I tried a different outlet, still nothing. I read the manual from beginning to end (the 16 pages of it) I t NOT help at all.I emptied the tank of dirt (even though it was not t 'form), he cleaned the inside of the cyclone clean, pre and post motor filter, and then unscrew the cover of brush and play with the brush and belt. The plug has prayed. Success! I hope to finish and took off. And after a shutdown and a couple of times to be sure, and then again the ounce, you wouldn 't turn off. The unplugged, waited a bit, then logged back in.. No, still did not work t '. At this point, I'm almost in tears. And finally, when I 'almost ready to give himself up, admitted defeat (and the mother called to tell him we need the receipt because I had broken the gap was only a few " days old) I realize what happened to manage, very lightly, was receding from the rest of the vacuum. (Yes, that was the handle for easy assembly in the vacuum 's Two process partial assembly). loosens you press it off, firmly and securely back together and then screwed into place. I hold your breath when I press the power button ... exhale. Relief! And it worked. And a couple more times after that. But for a while now, I think it 'll be crossing their fingers every time I vacuum. It was a very stressful and frustrating experience to find out three hours that in all likely hood it was a very simple problem, but obviously overlooked and very critical ...
This is one of the best vacuum cleaner I bought and I was very pleased with the performance. Some of + ves (which others have also underlined) are as follows: r Self-leveling: Do not require manual floor height adjustment r-power switch of the brush: the brush can be disabled when using the r-rod Clean Way to separate the housing unit for soil removal: My unit permeable opportunity to expand on the machine itself dirt while opening for the elimination dirt. The reservoir of this device can be purchased in the closed mode to be opened in the trash. Avoid anything that contributes to r dumping ground Ras I said, I really liked the machine, but then the brush stopped working on the 3rd day (today). The button on the handle is actually turned on and off with the effect on the brush. I returned to the target and I am now seeking is another model.
Watch the video here: http://www.amazon.com/review/R11KDPD67R7IQH I made a video review of Bissell Prolite. Here 's what you ll ' see in the video ... R r1. A review of how easy it is to put the thing together. R2. The basic features. R3. Included attachments and use the hand wand. R4 . The demo of the vacuum cleaner in action. R5. How to clean the camera with 2 clicks. R rit is really a great cleaner, because it 's quiet, powerful, has a variety of accessories and options for cleaning, and more importantly, it is super easy to clean. R rI hope you enjoy your new Bissell Prolite!
5 indoor / outdoor dogs, four indoor cats & 2 kids = lots of dirt and tons of pet hair (Dogs are: 2 shepherd mixes (100lbs each), two terrier mixes (45 lbs each) and a husky Mix (50 lbs). Cats are: Domestic Shorthair Domestic fluffball & 1). I typically Thurs light pick-up during the week and real cleaning on the weekends. I tested the Bissell during weekend cleaning and refurbished Dyson DC17 Animal alongside my vacuum cleaner (approximately 6 months old). R rI decided to test the Bissell alongside my Dyson (standard head / no ball) because (1) the Dyson seems to be the " gold standard", (2) the vacuum newer designs seem to mimic the Dyson design visually, and (3) the Dyson vacuum cleaner is my favorite of all of the vacuum cleaners I 've owned (Eureka upright, Hoover upright, canister Watermaid, Rainbow canister). R rOverall Impression: rthe Bissell was easy to put together - a good thing since the enclosed instructions are poor. R rthe Bissell 17G5 Prolite is a good looking vacuum cleaner that is easy to pick up and cart around. The extension hose is accordion-style, fairly easy to remove and is friendly attachment (attachments don 't fall off). The tilt-extension arm is a cool idea and probably will be copied by other manufacturers in the future. The Bissell is a good vacuum cleaner for a typical household and is a good, solid choice for many families. R rWarranty: rthe Bissell 17G5 Prolite has a standard 5 yr limited warranty which does not cover the following: fans, routine maintenance components (filters, belts, brushes). It does not cover damage caused by negligence, abuse, neglect, unauthorized repair or any other use not in accordance with the User 's Guide. R rComparison of the Bissell 17G5 Prolite to the Dyson DC17: r rArea Rug ( 6 'x9 '): I vacuumed the low-pile area rug with the Bissell as I normally vacuum - short strokes, long strokes, different directions - but not too fast not, real slow - a typical vacuuming job. The Bissell picked up a good deal of dirt and pet hair and I was impressed with its sucking power. Looking down onto the rug from a standing position, the rug looked good and I couldn 't see any obvious dirt or hair. Looking at the rug from a hands / knees position, I could just see a few dog hairs, but nothing major. I then got my Dyson - cleaned the filter and dust'm so both were clear of dirt - and vacuumed over the same rug (no dogs or people had been on the rug since the Bissell cleaning). I used the same cleaning motion - long / short strokes, different directions, not too fast / not real slow - and was very surprised to see that the Dyson had picked up more dirt and pet hair - about ½ cup more! R rUpholstered Sofa: In a moment of stupidity, I reupholstered a couch in a black wool fabric. The sofa is a dog hair magnet and is especially fond of my husky 's cream-colored fur. I tried the Bissell 's roller brush (about 4 "wide) and found it did an OK job. The roller brush left streaks of pet hair as it cleaned (a line of clean / a line of pet hair / a line of ) clean.I had to go over and over the seat cushion in various directions and only about 60% of the pet hair came up In contrast, the Dyson 's brush roller is about 6 "wide and doesn ' t leave streaks of pet hair. In fairness, however, the Dyson 's roller brush didn ' t pick up all of the pet hair either (picked up about 90% of the hair). r RTIL Floor: I was equally happy with the cleaning job that both of the vacuum cleaners did on the tile floor. r rVacuum Wands: There are pros / cons to both vacuum cleaners 'attachments / wands. I like the accordion extension on the Bissell and think it is easier to use because it moves more with body movements. The permanent handle attachment on the accordion is a nice feature too. However, the accordion piece is short, so to reach higher, you 'll need to add an attachment to match the reach of the Dyson 's. The other Bissell wand attachment that I like is the bendable arm attachment Allowing for vacuum pieces to get under things without having to bend your body a lot. In contrast, the Dyson has a long extension wand that pops out of the handle. It is a cool feature, but the length makes your body do some unnatural twists / turns when cleaning. Overall, I think that both wands have features that I 'd like to see on each machine, for instance, I ' d like to see the bendable wand on the Dyson and a slightly longer permanent accordion hose on the Bissell. r rAttachments: Both vacuum cleaners have additional attachments that you 'll have to store separately from the vacuum cleaner. The Bissell will only hold the bendable extension arm and the rest of the attachments go into a storage bag (provided). The Dyson will carry three attachments on its body, but the rest of the ($$$) attachments need to be stored separately. I think the Bissell 's attachments are adequate and the vacuum comes with the most commonly used attachments. The only changes I ' d like to see for the Bissell would be to make the roller brush against and have a floor cleaner (a flighty roller brush to vacuum under sofas and beds). r rOverall, I 'd rate the 17G5 Bissell Prolite Vacuum cleaner as high-average, and leave the reader to decide Whether the price is worth the purchase. I plan to use it in our office (no pets) rather than in my home (too many pets). It has pretty good suction, comes with a good assortment of attachments, and is easy to pick up and carry around. Since it just can 't pick up the amount of pet hair / dirt that my household generates, I can not recommend the vacuum cleaner "across the board " for all households. ....
I recently reviewed the 16N5 Bissell Healthy Home Bagless Upright Vacuum Cleaner 12 amps, so my expectations of a vacuum cleaner are now much higher! In this review, I recommended the only warning being that 16N5 was a bit heavy and not a good option for grandma. Tip: If you push too hard, just turn the dial height adjustment, as it may be too low (especially with a larger carpets). R rthe Bissell 17G5 PROLITE cyclonic bagless upright vacuum multi-Cleaner is also very nice and significantly lighter (and easier to push) the 16N5, 16N5 but I prefer the over-the-17G5-(I'll explain why below). r rthe first thing you have to do with the 17G5 is 5 minutes easy assembly. You 'll need a Phillips screwdriver. You basically slide the handle on the drive, and then the screws on the two Phillips screws to secure the handle in place. The assembly instructions to discuss other pieces, but these steps were made already in the unit I received. In fact, this creates a moment of confusion for me when I was looking all over the hose to install, the installation instructions. Finally realized that this unity of the hose (which is very different from other vacuums) was already in place. If you buy this unit, you 'll see what I mean how the hose is a little different, because it is very elastic and flexible. R rI have a major complaint that I do this a void of stars. There is a large sticker on the commercialization of cleaner base, and used a little glue that apparently can not be removed. I ended up having to leave the label on the unit in order to avoid being covered with glue. This is very irritating, and I don 't remember having this problem Bissell 16N5. I seem to recall that the label on the 16N5 was difficult, but possible, to remove, as this seems impossible. There are plenty of rubber products that allow easy removal by the consumer, so that Bissell has to change the glue you use. Who wants to keep marketing stickers across the void? R rther are three other points about this 17G5 that cause I do not like as much as the 16N5. First, the removal and cleaning of different filters is not as intuitive as the 16N5. In 16N5, filters are very well marked and easy to figure out what to do without having to find the instruction booklet. In 17G5, perhaps due to their smaller size and light weight, 's not as intuitive, and you have to read the instructions to find a way to access all the filters. R rSecond, no headlights in the 17G5. I don 't know how much it actually helps the light to see the floor in front of you, but I found that I missed it immediately. Not a show stopper but something to consider. R rThird, most of the accessories have to be stored in the accessory bag, instead of having a house in the unit itself. This increases the chances that you will lose the attachments. I liked how the 16N5 was a home for each attachment in the same unit, but of course these factors in the peso.Mantener insertions outside the unit helps keep the lightest 17G5. R Ron the other hand, there are some advantages of 17G5 on the 16N5. First, it is much easier to push, because of its lighter weight. And he has an automatic height adjustment, so you will not have the unit accidentally set too low, which could make it difficult to push. The 16N5 is a dial to adjust the height. Secondly, the 17G5 comes with more accessories, including one that lets you easily under a sofa. R rone marketing points of 17G5 had excited me was the length of the hose, supposedly very long. My test is to put the unit in the bottom of the stairs and see how many steps until I can get with the hose. This was very disappointing, because the 17G5 only let around a quarter of the way of the ladder, despite the assertion of marketing. The 16N5, by contrast, allows me to get about three quarters up the stairs. R rI have had good luck with Bissell products over the years, and 16N5 And 17G5 are great cleaning products vacuum. I especially like the bag function and simplicity of the controls. In 17G5, there are two buttons: (1) Power and (2) brush on / off. My last vacuum cleaner had more buttons than I can remember, it just adds confusion. R rLook to my comment on the 16N5 to read why I like the bagless feature much. R summary rin , if weight and ease of push factors are the most important, go with the 17G5. But if you do not mind 'work up a sweat while some vacuuming, then go with the 16N5. Whatever model you choose, it is probably very happy with a Bissell bagless vacuum ... ..
I currently own Oreck XL years and I 'just compared to the Oreck Bissell cette side by side. Here are my impressions of the general list Bissell 17G5 ", and a comparison with the Oreck XL Classic. R rAssembly: Counting all Bissell is a piece of cake and doesn 't really need" Even instructions. Simply slide the top half in the bottom half, secure with two Phillips screws, and you 're ready to go more or less. Yes, it is necessary to connect the hose to the basic objective that ' s very simple. The total assembly time of less than 5 minutes Was. R rQuality : Bissell seems to be well built. That sense with a little care, will last for long. Compared to the Oreck, it 's my opinion, the Oreck That ' s Probably Build Quality is superior. However, Bissell DID nice job with this vacuum and I hope that lasts. R rPerformance : The Bissell overcome my Oreck, although the Oreck est aussi pretty good. This 12 amp Bissell has an engine compared to my Oreck 's 4-amp motor. Don 't get me wrong, the Oreck XL is a quality product, efficient, to ' s my sense that the more things picked Bissell carpet. The Bissell seems to handle bare floors due to better self-adjusting feature. The Bissell also features a hose and accessories allow you to get that crack into and difficult to reach areas "which would be difficult for the Oreck impossible to get gold. Rvalue R : The Bissell vacuum is considerably cheaper than The Oreck, so it 'd consider the best! value. r rWeight: The Oreck is the clear winner here. It weighs only about 8 pounds and I ' d say it is the Bissell 17G5 Approximately 17 pounds or less. The difficulty t Bissell is not used, the objective nature of the lightweight Oreck XL is very attractive. R Affiliation: I m 'are crazy about the way the various accessories to ensure the hose. No 's not really a lock of gold Everything clicks into place. The friction force alone prononcer to have the heads of the hose fitting. I had a head pop out of the hose while vacuuming several times and really had to push the head in the pipe end to hold it in place. I 'd Much of fate Some prefer a more secure mechanism that in clicks or locks. I also wish more of the Bissell Attachments that 's could be "stored on your own emptiness, instead of blindly' em in a bag extraction chain (included). R rBrushes: I like the fact that you can turn s the Bissell 'On and brushes off. The switch is illuminated and located in a convenient location on the top bar of the vacuum.I also like the brushes s Bissell "When you stop turning the handle is in. horizontal position, even if t You Don 'turn the brush off and on. My Oreck will not let me turn off the brushes, and this could" result a burn in your carpet if you leave it running, while the stationary unit. R rNoise : The Bissell is quite a bit quieter than the Oreck XL. R rOperating costs: The Oreck has a smaller engine uses less electricity Presumably, the purpose how long you vacuum anyway? Probably not so long. The Bissell bagless system has worn away, which seems to be a superior and more profitable, since it won t 'have to buy replacement bags. The Bissell 's no garbage bag (if' s the correct term) is very easy to empty. Changing bags is the do not Oreck 't rocket science, you need a little more work goal. R rVerdict : Both the Oreck XL and Bissell 17G5 have excellent performance. However, if you are looking for more performance at a lower price and lower operating costs, I 'd recommend the Bissell. If owning a very light unit is important and you don t mind 'Paying more for a lighter unit with good goal, the goal of a slightly lower performance was marginally better quality of construction Perhaps, perhaps as the XL Oreck. One thing is certain, the Bissell is a quality player and you get a lot of vacuum for the money ...
I was offered this program Bissell part of the vine. This is my review and comparison of the Pro-Lite vs Bissell Home Health. R RThe Pro Lite: r r-Offers the same power as clean the house in a more compact and lightweight chassis. Height Adjustment r r-Auto is really feeling the Pro-Lite as if it shakes the r-carpet better. stick r r-flex allows you to get under furniture without kneeling. R R-Provides power button rotary brush, as well as the Healthy Housing. R r-Offering a variety of accessories and a bag to store them. Since the vacuum is intended to be a slight vacuum non-primary, I don 't find a bag of them all at Troublesome. I keep the bag attached to the back of a door on a hook. Cord r r output lower than the Healthy House, and it is remarkable. Home health care can get my entire floor below is using a plug into the wall. The Pro-lite can 't quite do it. R r, or about 25% cheaper than in The Healthy Home. R R-even easy to clean the dust cup, which is located at the rear of the cleaner for you to see the best. I can 't say what a blessing of the Cup of the new model of land has been! I filled the dirt cup to the top edge without significant loss of power. R r-If you care cosmetics (lol) The Pro Lite is a little high power vacuum and the buttons light up. ;) R r-weariness is found on the website posting hose .. When you go to enter your vacuum handy dandy stick to the bottom of the harbor after all its approaches him and makes you have to look and fight with it to replace. R ref you are looking for a beautiful Bissell and can 't pay for healthy home, then you should consider this vacuum. If you are looking for an upscale Sidekick and this fits the bill. If you are looking for a primary vacuum and the money is not a problem then you probably want the Healthy Home vacuum. R Nero little warning: the baton Turbo is really strong and best used for carpet or solid materials. I would not use it at all the soft, woven or embroidered fabrics or curtains or son to make sure it will rip. I can 't use it on my sofa fabric as it shoots. R rOverall I find this vacuum to be very strong, powerful and attractive. He shakes my carpets and cleaned in a single scan. Wood floors are made with the push of the brush power button.
This vacuum cleaner is the best vacuum cleaner I 've used. This thing that catches my old vacuum didn 't. rPros R : r-Cleans very, very well (**). Selection r Good accessories r fairly low. R HEPA filter water-style. R-Easy to empty / without packaging. R rCons: -r I wish is to have a lighthouse to see the floor better r-base has a sticker on it isn t 'to be removed, but it does seem cheaper. Why Bissell Standard and Poor design modern looking machine, and then slap this sticker looking Goofy that the client can 't remove? R-The instructions come only in Bahasa which could be a problem if your housecleaner speaks Spanish. R - Not Enough shop tools in vacuum cans. Actually, I was only able to get the wand extension to store in a vacuum. A-Even though I would not 't call heavy-If I still wanted more light. R r ** Actually I wonder if it 's very good: It seems that he takes some of the carpet fibers of high quality machine made oriental rugs. It 's probably my 10 years of carpet cleaning better than it ever has been cleaned and that ' s what I 'm seeing the camera, but I can ' t help but wonder if the automatic height adjustment is very aggressive. What happens if I do it again I 'll update this review.
This line is an improvement over my Dirt Devil Vibe, as it 's smallest and lightest, and bagless. It 's much easier to maneuver, what ' s not heavy and the cord is not ridiculously long. I also like the automatic adjustment of the height floor that easily passes from the kitchen floor to carpet without losing suction (ie, sliding on the floor instead of pick). The suction is very impressive, similar to the Bissell Pet Hair Eraser, if ''ve never used this machine. R rBut have all the tools and accessories that are not connected to the machine is inconvenient. The accessory bag is a nuisance, and not simply out to use the tools. However, I will probably use the flexible rod (under furniture) in the future if I get the hang of it, because I found it somewhat difficult to use. That attachment is stored at least in their own vacuum. Also, do 's no' lighthouse, "that I 'got us to sa ... But that ' small detail. R Rall at all, I like the machine and will My main vacuum, due to the size, weight and maneuverability "improvements done to my current, plus the fact that 's bagless.
I was thrilled to get this vacuum cleaner as our old one needs a serious tune-up and I really wanted one that had an on-board hose. R rFirst of all, this sweeper does a great job at doing what it 's supposed to do - pick up dirt. But it also made our rugs look new again. WE HAVE HARDWOOD FLOORS mostly with wool area rugs and the Bissell 17GS easily goes from one to the other without having to change in settings. It has a feature where you can just have it on Suction, or have the spinning brush. I can 't emphasize enough at how great it is at picking stuff up, even in corners. R rThe second thing I like about it is the attachments. It has a lot of different types. My favorite is the one that has a soft brush, it 's perfect for dusting, especially along Baseboard. But it also works great on bookshelves, furniture, Window Sills, etc.. The spinning brush attachment works wonders on cleaning the chairs and sofa. Not only does it pick up pet hair and misc "stuff ", but it sucks the dirt out of the fabric making the material look almost new again (we have cloth covered furniture). It also works great at getting crap out from the cracks in the couch. There are several other attachments for other uses, they all work great. R rThe third thing I love is the ability to see what you 've Swept up (no more lost Lego!) And easily dump the contents into the garbage without the dusty mess you get with sweeper bags (or the expense). The filter can be cleaned and reused, so that 's another bonus. Literally NO dust flew out while I was using this to change from our old sweeper. R ri didn 't give it 5 stars because I found it to be very heavy. Maybe I 'm just out of shape, and I ' m used to a very lightweight vacuum cleaner (my old one is only 8 lbs.) The other thing that annoyed me was the hose is a little weird to get used to and the thing you have to attach to the hose in order to use the extra cleaning attachments is awkward, it bends at the wrong time and pinched my hands / fingers a couple of times. Neither of these is enough for me not to purchase this cleaner, but it is something to consider if you 're super picky.
This is a good lightweight bagless vacuum, but need to improve the attachment. Below are the pros and cons. R rPROS: r r-Assembly is easy - simply insert the handle to the base top and screwed the two screws. R r-The gap is relatively slight. R R-Comes with a full set of tools used with or without connection to the flexible rod. In addition to the flexible rod, the tools are given a narrow nozzle, TurboBrush for floors, dust brush and a tube extension. Of course, all tools except the flexible rod need to be stored elsewhere (ie not on board the vacuum). An option (as part of the manual - which contradicts the instructions elsewhere in the manual) for the tool behind the shoes flexible crack-rod storage area, but it seemed an inefficient the storage location. R r-flat of the tool has a role very soft in the center bars that won t scratch 'flats Pls help her use it. R r-The vacuum contains a large amount of dirt Because of the tremendous suction. R r-HEPA filters and pre-motor are very easy to find and replace or clean. R r-The jar of dirt is easy to remove and empty. However, if you have pets, pet hair will be trapped at the top of the unit and must be removed by hand. In addition, anyone that uses rotating brushes (the unit and TurboBrush) will be starting to be cleaned frequently for hair removal. The plastic is easy to TurboBrush removed for cleaning. R r-The vacuum has an automatic height adjustment, so that from cans with several piles of carpet floors without carpet without turning a dial. R r-the beater bar (rotating brush) doesn 't begin to turn until the gap is in the resting position for vacuuming. Pressing the Power button is all you need to do to put this brush in the standby mode for Pls which are ready to suck the carpet. If you move out of the carpet and the floor, then simply press a button to turn the rotating brush of the brush. R r-The front bumper is the vacuum guards so if you hit the furniture that won 't leave a scratch. R r-Whereas the footprint of the vacuum is a few centimeters smaller than the gap size standard may be able to claim between legs of chairs and other furniture that usually can 't reach a size of vacuum complete. R r hope you are able to hold the cord to the back of the top bar that keeps it off the road. R r-It 'sa storage area at the rear of the unit to wind the cord around the rope that has a feature easy release. R r rCONS: r r-The cable is quite long for a lightweight unit but empty 's nearly two feet shorter than full size. May some find this a problem. R r-It 's no light at the base of the unit as most full-size vacuums. And Don t care "but this functionality is possible. R r-tools do not store attachments in a vacuum instead save the tool bag is supplied. And Don t care " about this feature but some might find a negative. R r-The accessories are hard "attach " and "out of " the vacuum hose (the fit is too tight) and want treballar.De are difficult to actually work with the files Attached is quite complicated, even if he put the flexible rod. R r-suction hose is tightly woven into an accordion shape. Therefore, they can increase the reach of the hose, but the gap is still falling on the light beam Because you want to go back to its original position. Ill r r-Gathering dust allergy will Pls clear the deposit of dirt. Also, if you have pets, a lot of hair must be pulled by hand from container and only doesn t 'fall "outs. ROverall R , is a large gap in a vertical position with slight suction unit terrible. However, if you are a frequent user of attachments, I suggest you consider another vacuum. If you have allergies, you might want to consider this one also has a vacuum bag. If you rarely use the attachment and want a bagless vacuum with large, then this might be the best vacuum for you ... ..
Bissell makes some great care vacs and floor machines - I have several of them. Unfortunately, this is not one of his best efforts. R rThere are a number of characteristics that are excellent. The VAC is narrow (13 cm path), making it easier to maneuver around furniture, and stores easily in closets. Much lighter than others I've used vacs '- a piece of cake to pick up and go up the stairs. It has a washable HEPA filter, plus a pre-filter. In Other Bissells, I 've found that if pre-wash the filter regularly, it actually extends the life of the HEPA filters do not washable. R rConstruction quality looks good and has a five-year warranty. Assembly takes a few seconds (two screws to secure the handle. Tip: Dirt remove the garbage collection to make it easier to attach the strap). R rbar floor performance is excellent - great suction, rolls easily, has large rubber wheels veneers that are quiet, not more-story 't wooden slippers, and is in the toe kick area of kitchen cabinets. You can turn off the beater bar with a switch on the handle. Both switches beater bar and switches are illuminated, which is a nice touch. R erals Dirt satisfied with the collection system. It 's bagless, canister, and is easy to remove and dump out. Sometimes you need to arrive to pick up the fibers (as the hairball pet), but that 's in the case of virtually any system without the bag. For me, the benefits of not having to buy bags Equitable is changing. R Rusinga it as a duty on carpet is a little less than a positive experience. Again, no problems with the suction power. A wonderful feature is that you can push the lever down almost to the ground without lifting his head vac. Wonderful to stay under the sofa! Greater blame rthe R on the carpet is that it has an automatic height adjustment feature that can 't be replaced. Sometimes it works great, other times he is deceived by the density of the carpet. For example, I have an area rug that is thick, but it has nuts too dense. With a manual setting that I can increase the height so it 's easy to run the vac on the carpet. This self-adjustment, like all other auto adjust I 've used, defines the very low height, so that "it is very difficult to push vac - the combination of suction and beater bar makes vac" stick "to the carpet. As well as tiring for the person pushing the vac, it 's is not good for the carpet - a way too aggressive cleaning can damage the fiber. R Ron Other areas, such as a medium walnut wall to wall Carpet, the automatic worked well and got the same height, I would have chosen if I manually adjusted. So it all depends on the type of carpet you have and whether or not this feature will be a blessing or a bust. R rWhat is absolutely a bust is the way the tools work. The goal was admirable - to make an articulated arm so you can vac under the beds without having to bend down. But in practice, it 's horrible - twice as long to get the job done according to a conventional instrument. In addition, the wand is the shorter length, making it uncomfortable to use if you 're altura.A handle of the wand is not comfortable to use if you have big hands. The floor itself is a good tool to get the pet hair, but poor in dirt, crumbs, etc.. Can be a bit of an effort to obtain the release of the hose back in place after being stretched. The detachment of the hose is not sufficient to reach the top of a flight of stairs. Strain the detachment of the hose will usually result in vac topple. R rNone tools (other than an extension), a shop on board, but they give a storage bag that can be attached around the wrist. R rthe tool functionality and ergonomics Bissells Others, like the original or updated HealthyHome, is much better than the Prolite. Moreover, the deployment of the hose on these models can reach the top of a staircase. Ri R I think this is a vaccine of five stars for hard surfaces when using it as an upright, 4.5 stars on the carpet as an upright, but only one star when using it with tools. I 'll give you an overall score of three stars because I have to choose a single score. R Rif you want a lightweight vac and not use the tools at all (or only rarely), it is well worth considering. If, however, you want to use the tools in any degree, you 're better on a different model, like the original HealthyHome (heavy, but excellent performing) or the new HealthyHome (lighter, but seems to have a construction quality less durable) ... ..
