This filter is located directly underneath of the dust bin when it has been removed from the vacuum.
You can find the filter by finding where the air is being exhausted. This filter should be replaced at least every 3 months. If you notice that your Dyson has lost some of the suction since you've had it, cleaning the filter should be the first place to start.

Size of an equivalent that came with my Dyson, but it Pls clean it and dry it get s 'not a good idea to place it anywhere it ' ll up the trash picked! Do you have any problems with it at all! Should a life, is not it?

Since I bought it when I clean my filter in the door just did 't want to turn right again I thought I needed a new filter. Like this one a lot more flexible and stiffer than the original and although it will fit, the door closes even worse than before. Contact Dyson and they sent me a new door but still doesn 't close right. I guess you just clean it more often

It 'sa shame Dyson That doesn ' t include a spare filter with the purchase of a vacuum. The filter is washable filter But Who Needs Their perform Until They are washed using the vacuum. Since you Have to allow time for the filter width to dry You Really Need to have 2 filters. A new, clean filter knows your machine to vacuum just like new.

We've Had Our DC-17 for a couple of years. This new filter (which our great fit) made like new again! I didn 't even realize we were downgraded.
