I bought this to clean my kitchen floor grout. It did a fantastic job. My grout looks as it did 10 years ago when we built the house. Totally worth every penny!
I bought the paddle steamer, Oreck for about a month ago. I used it for 2 days and I knew he was returning to Oreck. R rFirst , I must say Oreck is a great company with great products and stand behind them do. I had no trouble returning after the steam is used Oreck because it offers 30 days trial at home. Ss R rthe ... Just not what it says or what I expected. R rDay 1: I used my shower doors. I found the car a bit 'awkward to use in the shower so you really couldn ' get everything I wanted in the shower. Now my doors aren 't encrusted with soap, but they were dirty and needed washing. Well, didn steamer 't do something to help bust the dirt and grime on the glass. I thought that I removed from before, but then what is the point of using the ship if I still should have used chemicals. R rDay 2: My next project was the kitchen floor. He picked up some dirt from the floor But again, I would Had a stain my top, use the steamer, then wipe off excess dirt Relieved the ship. Moreover, when the boat is at the top you get hot with a lot of steam but appears to be more wet. If you have never used a Swiffer This is the kind of got wet. But not soaked enough to get your socks wet if you step on it. R rthe main reason why I wanted to address this steamer was the areas I don 't get to clean and would normally need a little' more TLC, such as kitchen cabinets and I liked that I could use my also my mattress and sofa. But once you add water, any amount, the machine becomes just heavy and my arms get tired. The man at the Oreck store suggested I add less water but seriously, is still a heavy machine to lift over your head and if there is less water MEANS I had to take more time to add more water When it runs out. RThis R is a great concept just not there yet, Oreck. I'm going to stick for chemicals, for now.
If your thinking about buying a thesis, maybe you should "read my experience. I bought my Oreck Oreck steamer online direct from six months ago. The ship arrived the first time in a beating case that didn t give ', a good first impression. I connected first steam and didn ' t delay "dry steam as advertised. He left behind a year is an excessive amount of pavement water, etc.. I called Oreck Direct and they advised me to continue using the steam. After a few "and uses it more clearly" was not working properly, I contacted Oreck and asked to be replaced. The second ship arrived and upon feeding him, he worked very hard and could dry steam. It worked great for about 15 uses. After that time, began to "put out about half or less steam as previously. I called and they live Orect advised me to take it to the repair center Oreck years. I drove 40 miles to the store and the employee looked at the target ship only after telling me that they usually did not occur to deal with steam ordered online. The postponement also my employee disputed that the vessel was not putting out adequate amount of years steam. The manager finally walked in and confirmed that my ship was not working properly and told me to go home and call back Oreck Direct. So, after years of 80 miles round trip, I contacted Oreck and asked them to replace the ship managers for recommendation. My third ship has arrived. I have fed it and just put out about half of the steam that steam can, according to it 's functioning. I can use it in my purpose Because of tile steam output low, it will take a long time. I can also use it on my sofa cloth where is my dog doggie odor and remove the oil. Other than that, it will not put out enough steam to be helpful is any cleaning tasks. I gave up. I spent $ 160.00. I 'm wrting this comment to say my experience and Consumer Protection, considering this product can decide for themselves whether they want to try it. In my opinion, this technology is far from being ready on the market.
I don 't know what users expect but you must understand the premise of a "steam mop. " This creates steam at the pad picks up the dirt that might break down. The steam cleaning agent and the pad is designed to ONLY pick up dirt. If you are looking for a steam Floor Cleaner, it works much better than the Shark because you can make a concentrated cleaning grout first and then wipe the floor. I have used both and in my opinion, it is worth the extra $ 100 dollars. It IS that much better. R Ras far as the comment about being unable to push it or falling off the pad, I have not had any issues. minutes I have a lot of steam which leaves the floor slightly wet even the ceiling fans on, dries the floor under the first A higher steam settings makes it easier to push too. RWhat R is NOT: r1. This is not a vacuum so the floor must be no loose dirt, so you need to vacuum first r2. This is not a standard mop or spray cleaner wipe. It does not use soap / chemical based cleaners to make it easier to push. R rWhat makes it better than other Steam Mops: r1. Knob adjustable steam: You can control the amount of steam. The power control knob actually adjust the steam from a little a lot. When mopping the floor, if you put it low, you'll see almost no moisture but put it high and see wetness on the floor when done (but it dries too quickly, I think faster than traditional cleaning floor). R2. Versatility: You can hold it upside down and steam clean your grout in the bath tub or shower - this is a BIG PLUS to me. R3. Grout cleaning: The grout attachment actually works. With the Oreck Tile / Grout concentrated spray, I clean my floor tile grout first and then switched to the attachment and mop my floor looks great. R4. You can clean counters, etc. .. but it is NOT light when filled. You must be strong enough to use it for applications. Not "good " for the counter but it works. A type of canister steam cleaner would be better for that. R Rif Are you on the fence, buy it and use it. If you don 't like it, Oreck will take it back and refund you 100% so what do you have to lose. That is the reason I tried it but now I'm definitely keeping mine. I love it!
When my original steam mop shark died after about two years, I bought the Oreck. (I once had one of his empty and the orbiter - both of which I love). The vapor-definitely does a better job on my floor that the shark did. I have a lot of ceramic tile. In the kitchen spill If there is any dry, I would have to go over them repeatedly with the shark and the pump handle for more steam. The Oreck does in a single pass. Steam seems to be a lot warmer. I also like the fact that I can use my own microfiber cloth. I have a big bag of them s Sam 'for what ever ' ll run out. It also has a lot of water - which now filled only halfway - which is still sufficient to make all my plants. I also tested in the granite countertops - and although he won 't say it ' s not awkward, she did a good job. As far as hard to push, I have not had any problems and I 'm young nor particularly strong
And moved into a new house with all hard wood and tile floors so I gave away MY Carpet Cleaner and buy an Oreck This steam. While it seems also made other Oreck products, the benefits quirks outway years. To begin with, the design of four clips should hold the pad in the area suggest that the pads are extra fabric in vertical direction. They don 't. Additional fabric is in horizontal direction and trying to get the pad to stay in place is no easy task. I also have my fingers quite yet again I care to admit. R rThe instruction book makes little sense and the picture is not identical to what direction to you. I still can 't know exactly where the thing to use when and for what purpose. R rFinally, Wand glider across the surface as if it were nailed to them. R rDavid Oreck, should be ashamed of yourself!
I received this as a birthday gift last week and used it for the first time tonight. Hate this product! It was very heavy use, the discs are very clean in place and clip the parts of the plant did a little clean are complicated! Didn 't even get any dirt on our grout and wood floors are very dull looking. It was "very happy as I am concerned because I had a shark steam mop, but decided to anyway. With the hope that I can get some money back into it and really wanted to get by my birthday, but it 's directly to the trash.
I purchased this product in November of 09 'when I shop for my black bags Oreck vacuum. I had not seen or heard. I requested a demonstration and it was sold. Developed I 'buyers remorse "on the way home and the minute I Went Away used. This is a fantastic product! I use it on wood - tile - Pergo - mattresses - Windows - Counters - carpet - mirrors - cabinets, etc. ...... this is a product that has been carefully developed. And 'good work and my home has made it much easier and more effective. Rin my opinion, the retail price is less than what is?
I bought the steam to clean my hardwood floors. The problem I had was that I could 'keep the pad long enough for any real cleaning. Will Not pad slide along the floor and the pad fell off rapidly with the slightest push rod. San seller's Store rthe suggested I push the rod at an angle to clean. I have to angle in a way When I push forward and change the angle of the rod when I shot back. That helped a bit ', but the pad could unhook always easy. RThis R is a product of poorly designed. R rI have managed to clean the 4x4 section of the floor, before becoming a dirt pad for use. OK so it works. Now if only the pad would be stuck could be a great product.
I just bought the Oreck steam was weeks ago and used for the first time today. Like others who have reviewed this clean, I'm a big fan of the Oreck and relied on my past experience with their voids to make my purchase decision. After using throughout my entire house, today, I made sure to keep it. It provides an abundance of steam for est très constant awkward to use. He did a great job on my wood floor, without excess water, dries quickly, and left shining. However, it was hard to push and pull. La même one year I cleaned the area rug that, even with the establishment of the carpet, it's terribly difficult to push back and forth. It did not stop to clean the carpet very wet at all. Then the bathroom. I removed all glass shower, tile floor A, the mirror above the sink, light fixtures around the sink and shower all tile. He did a great job on the glass shower As Long As I Could The cleaning position correctly. I left him in deep water Enough "from a doctor before objective squegee quick wipe with a cloth was all that was needed. It happened in the years excellent work in the tile floor, and in the shower in the bathroom again and made "not too wet the floor, and left them relatively dry and dry finish time was only about 5 minutes. Cleaned the tile in the shower wall and drank again, using the machine from the ground Proved strange. He did a great job of loosening up the Grim around the sink faucets and handles and a quick wipe with a sponge, then let the whole area clean. He did a great job on my mirror, drank again, when you get to the bottom of the mirror, you are controlling Struggling with the unit. Thus, all the good he did is clean as promised. Now for the bad. Other commentators have already observed that it is very heavy and full oz is the extra weight contribute "to the embarrassment of manipulating the machine when it is above ground. Tools for use with the floor does not work well as evidenced by the difficulty in pushing and pulling back and forth. Other commentators mention the clips to hold you like clothes being useless. I have to agree, the design is bad. There was no way to get them as tight as they needed to be cut, and videos not "hold it firmly as you wiped. My cloths Never Came Undone total, which aim to create extra drag loose enough when trying to mop. So now I am with trying to decide whether or not to keep the darn thing. I love how it intended to Clean It Was such a task to use that I'm not sure if I want to put Will through all that again. I just saw the ad on TV for pocket Handhelp Shark Steamer, and I have to say it's as if he would be much easier to use. I must say I find it hard that whoever designed it, do not try to use it in testing. I think he needs to get back to the drawing board. And yet, much as I love Oreck, this simply does not meet my expectations Of An Oreck. I regret to say, I can not give my recommendation is this product.
I really like Oreck products and just learning about steam cleaners from my roommate and our parents borrowed steam clean for about a month, when I decided to just buy one of Our Own. I chose this one because I really want quality products Oreck (But I Decided to buy from Oreck and more than the price paid here). R model else basic rthe appear move around the floor of the Little Easily Than The Oreck and the Oreck vacuum en heavier Than Other steam. On the other side of the net this seems to do the cleaning work better and better Seems To Be Quality. The Pads That Come With a longer time required to attach Because They're to small. On the other hand, you can go and buy their own dressings Because They Were you a universal clip. R WHERE RI Understand people complain about weight, so if you do not want a little exercise (not that 's terrible, but who needed extra work) r Some RI also read the other reviews about the dirt on the floor etc.. In my case even with another ship, I alway sweep or vacuum the floor first, then I use that steam. Also I Procedure Same When I use an old mop know the pre-cleaning procedure doesn t change ". R rAlong a more in depth with the net, I really like this continious steam coming from this product. Other models should be placed on the pad for then be used to warm and then it stopped. With Oreck's continious steam (or at-least for a number of areas I use to). Floors dry wood in about 10 minutes of good, too. Previously with the mop, the floor always looks streak, unless I dried floor in my hands a knees.
First-gal-Instruction Manual I always get a new product, I check the manual. This manual and Oreck information about your site is lacking (to say the least). I bought this to clean (yes, clean) my case and carpeted stairs to clean my stove top, but what I'm finding is that the steam under pressure is not sufficient to remove the stovetop gook that I can push with my fingernail ( I know-gross, right?) and IT drip when using this tool that focuses the steam from a hole. R -tion of the model came with droplets of water in it already. Will they send me a refurb? So when I called customer service (which are very good, BTW) to ask about the drops, and whether there was a trigger to start the swing, she told me that: (1) within the water droplets were the random test that is done before loading on some models, (2), dripping is normal and (3) No, no shot. R RSO I tried on the stairs, and I'm impressed. I'll try the IT wing - and update, but I came here from the reviews I wonder how they can push this off as a pressurized steam -r ri am indeed an Oreck vaccuums I love the owner, but I really surprised and disappointed with how it worked. Not only was strange, I do not see how she cleans or even disinfectant.
This unit was purchased for my wife. Installation was simple and UP steam built quickly. Our kitchen, dining area, and Porcelain Sculpture TILE entrance. Alas, the machine proved to be too heavy to push and pull OLD GAL. The bathroom and have to work Smooth TILE WERE EASI. Something, but she wants to clean all the areas mentioned. Oreck RECIPIENTS And I would go back and label-wam completely free for me. Kudos to Oreck.
I ve 'have this product a few days and use it on the kitchen floor, bathroom floor, bathroom sink, bathroom, kitchen, toilets, and benches in a plastic step. So far good. I read all the negative comments and the kind of scared to try this product. However, with the 30-day return policy, I thought I might as well try it R. Rthe Steam-It holds a good amount of water, producing the appropriate amount of steam, and not too heavy when lifting items above your head. R RIT can use a cable longer and lighter. (This cable weight makes me wonder how much electricity is actually using the pill - must be many) this content requires more pads included!. When cleaning a dirty surface, or expect to do more than one item or a day room, not two bearings will last any amount of time. I bought some microfiber cloth on other retailers to have enough for my cleaning project. They work fine, but I 'd better have more cushion. Bearing and then shrink significantly, even when washed according to instructions. This makes it hard for a clip bearing the head of the mop R. RWhen I was cleaning the bathroom in the bathroom song, (as well as the previous poster), I find Steam-It effectively loosen dirt and all must do what I wipe it. I think the other poster was disappointed because no dirt t 'disappeared without wiping. That's not what the steam mop will do. The same applies to the kitchen floor. I'm not sure what the line 'from dirt "people are getting. Are they sweep the floor or vacuum before steam mop? That should take care of most dirt particles and " fuzzies "on the floor. Steam mop should happen after that R. RCleaning interior bathroom stall door is a challenge. This is a small spac How to get the corner steam mop in the bathroom to take some time. I'm still happy wasn t 'I finally get to the corner, but I'll try again. R rOreck must make a product, a smaller complement of a more portable handheld to use the table and is used where steam mop match winning t '. R RLIKE I say, I m ' just a few days and several projects during this ... but so far, so good. Yes, there are improvements that need to be made, but it 's okay for the current product.
I agree with the others who wrote that this product is a good idea, but was ran to the market before it was fully tested. First, the pads that come with the device Designed to fit from side to side and a pinch at the side of the clothespin-like clips. Of course it would work better if the pad was cut off from end to end so it could fully grasp the terminals. I live in a house on the lake with three sets of French doors and floor to ceiling windows, and rejoiced over the Steam-It All That to clean glass. Forget it. I am a healthy woman of average size, and it was awkward, if not impossible, to keep that machine upside down and sideways to the window clean. The steam is collected and simply left the wet glass. I had to learn a role of paper towels to clean up. The instructions should warn users NOT USE on lacquered surfaces. I have and it saves the paint from. As well, it's very awkward to change the systems. It turns into a wrestling match with an attempt to keep the unit long twists and turns as you try to change the systems. The machine is pushing hard to be on hard surfaces. It has nothing to help Glide. R RNOW, with fully vented against the machine, I must say, was very effective when in the cleaning of the floors. I have tile and hardwood, and it has a good job to both. There were a few splashes of color on the hardwood from a recent painting, and it softens it enough that I could easily wipe ups. He also did a good job in the carpet and refreshing carpets. The steam is released immediately and evenly. The tank holds enough water to clean my whole house, even though the machine so hard, I decided to fill it half full and will only be populated as needed. It has a wonderful little funnel That makes it very easy to fill. I also used it to clean the stones of the fireplace hearth. I would caution anyone to charge him for that purpose in a rag over the brush, so you won 't get soot on the brush itself. The machine is made so that you can use your own towels and cans on the pads, to purchase come with the machine. R rin summation, this is a good machine for floors, but is pretty useless for anything else. You will also have the inconvenience of a faulty design for the cleaning of floors trade. You must return the unit, take it back to the lab and return it to the market after it has been perfected. I was about to return it if conflict and decided to try one last time this morning. When I put him on the head to reach the top of the tile in the shower water started to leak from the water tank lid. I could not 't stop the leak by turning the cap as tight as possible. Thus, I return from him.
While I appreciate the two previous reviewers give much detail, I really believe that exaggerate the difficulty of using this product. ROverall R , then this is a "big " product. You'll pay a bit more because it Oreck years to build quality, reliability and Oreck is done behind their products the extra dollars worth it. R RMY Reason for buying a machine was steam cleaning and tile flooring stone, "special " grout. Frankly, this unit does an amazing job with this, if he did "nothing more so, I would still be happy. I no longer have to waste time and money are "very " grout cleaners and sealers expensive that do not work. Trust me, The Oreck get 's the grout and tile as clean as the day I had them installed. I have used it in the shower of glass, marble in the show, and a stove with great success. My hardwood floors look great, and as my stone and tile, you never have to buy expensive cleaning products the new flooring. R rthe two microfiber cloths is always "could certainly be bigger, not knowing what I was thinking Oreck there. However, the cleaner is designed to use" any microfiber cloth so that you can replace 'em any time you want to buy HAVING Without Them Oreck. The clip of the system with small sections can be a bit of a challenge, but not so bad once you get the hang of it. Again, you can buy fabrics largest local Walmart If they bother you so much. R rWhen filled with water, the unit can be hard on some yews Trying to do a job above his head, or shoulders (if you can put over your head without it leaking.) However, the easy solution is Don 't have to fill all the way to make the kind of jobs argument r rPROS:. Building r rGreat. large tank, and quickly steamed horns. Expensive cleaning products R RNO. No chemicals. R rCleans tile grout and make it look like new. Hardwood floors shine r rcon: small sections r rSupplied, and Don 't work "big " with the clips.
I spent some time studying before deciding on floors Oreck Steam Steam-Il. I thought if it worked as well as promised, it was worth the price. I brought it home and immediately put in place. It was a little difficult given the weight of steam even before it had water in it. I read the instructions, put water in it, cut the key and thus ready to turn it on and did some cleaning. R RWEL, I 't agree with TechDiva. What a huge disappointment. This thing is very difficult to push back on the ground. The pad very wet after a while. If you suffer from carpal tunnel syndrome, tennis elbow, or shoulder problems, you'll be in pain in no time. And certainly the pad does not stay. Now add the fact that the pad is wet and very hot and the head is very hot too. This leaves you with two choices, the risk of burning your fingers or turn it off and wait until it cools a bit. When the pad is attached to the mop head, the mop head will flip on its back edge by pulling the blade toward you. It doesn 't matter which direction you try cleaning the machine does not remain on! It's very frustrating. R rI changed and mop heads used steam-It on my bathroom tiles. He did a good job, but, again, didn little head sock type 't stay up very well even if it does ' t come off I took the head off and tried it runway shower to see if I could get out of having to scrub with a toothbrush. No luck - he didn 't do nothing, but the wet track. Back to the toothbrush! I then cleaned out the shower doors. He did a very good job of getting the glass clean pebbly texture, but trying to maneuver 10 pounds of steam, it doesn 't something I ' d want to do on a regular basis. R rI thought the cord was a bit short. It is therefore a very heavy rope which makes it stiff and difficult to conclude. MR rI 'happy Oreck has a return policy of 30 days. My husband took it back to steam today store for a refund. He said the clerk looked rather surprised, but made the refund without comment. R ron Sunday, I bought a Bona hardwood floor cleaner. There are 2 different styles, but I opted for the one where you can mount the cleaning solution on the mop. The solution sprays (more like a fog, actually) when you press the trigger. Very easy on the hand, elbow and wrist. Very large microfiber cleaning pad that attaches with Velcro. The pad is very well done and is quite rigid so that it keeps its shape and doesn 't pile so that it is machine washable 300 times and replacement pads are available in the shop where I purchased. So far I 'm very happy with the job market it does. R rOreck is on track with steam, but I wonder if they had someone to test it in real cleaning before moving on to. I would stay away from it until it passes through some major changes.
Let me start by saying that I'ma big fan Oreck. I think they make quality products that do what they say they do. However, I can 't say that this product of the action. They're on the right track but some of the details worked out yet. I already have the Shark steam mop but find the handle to be short of water (I cut) and doesn 't stand that is small enough to do my entire kitchen area with one son. I am very pleased to hear that Oreck has steam mop. I went to the Oreck store and get a demo. I then commented that the 'pad ' it loose and coming off while I rubbed, and that the mop head is not cooperating during the demo carpet refresh. I'm making excuses for everything so I bought a steam mop. The mop holds about one gallon of water, and has cut a very long handle and a strap. All Good Things. Construction and quality is very good. However, the first thing you notice is that more than Weigh your vaccuum. This pad is actually a piece of cotton duck fabric of square feet with strips of cloth such as terry cloth in the center. Images on Baby Diapers from 20 years ago. You lie on the floor and use thoose yellow tabs on the picture to pinch loose ends of fabric under the yellow tabs. Start mopping and I saw immediately that the production of steam fast and powerful, which is good, but the mop is very very difficult to push. It is heavy and awkward to move and now I know why the salesman spent so much of my time shows shoulder movement should I use to push the mop back and foward. Forward movement caused all that I picked up the mop to be pushed into the line and a little fuzz on the floor, so I tried to change the mop and catch things fuzzy. Soon to come unclipped the pad. I reposition the pad and try again. Again, coming from the pad. I tried to mop the bathroom around the toilet, pulled lengthwise along the side of the toilet, coming from the pad. Every time I pull out of mops, floor mop head leaves, Tilting at the rear end and pull it back to me. When I pushed forward, it's flat again. The mop handle all water and electronics stores and close to weigh 10 pounds, a mop head on the other side is hollow sections of lightweight plastic. Because bad head design can 't compete with the weight of it and deal with because it is like a box, not a flat pad holder. I can not mop under the water turn off valve behind the toilet because the head is too cut and boxxy, or under a kitchen cabinet door under the rules of backstops kickspace along the molding, garlic Because the height of the head. Each place should be done separately without steam mop. Rework a lot that day and a lot of frustration. It has a snap on the head that allows it to glide over the carpet so I tried it too.Like what I see in the demo store large out every stroke, stroke each found the back flip on his back and bounce back or dragged back to saya.Aku really can 't imagine that this product tester really tried mopping with or steaming before release to the market. And yes, I tried to bend lower, changing my angle, it would be fast, slow, none of them helped. It has two rocker switches on the handle of a plastic box covered by rubber. One controls the power, other vapor. After leaving the mop for a few hours, I returned to find that the light power switch preheat was out, but it's hot mop. this switch is not completely dead, just like it looks. Because the rubber around the switch box, it is difficult to know whether the switch is really clicked in one direction or the other and clear LED on the switch is not 't so sure either. Thats the danger of fire in my book. Oreck box I got back, the first thing I ever return to the Oreck, but it will come back and when they come out with new improved model, I'll give that a try. For now, I really don t 'think this design is ready for public consumption, too many engineering issues to work out. R rThe good: Construction r rGreat, holds nearly a gallon of water, generate steam is really good very fast, long cable r rThe bad:. Weigh rThe far to much water, the pusher handle down so hard it makes my head in every Flip the power switch back rThe difficult RIT too heavy and awkward to use as a window washer or steam cleaner as shown in the ad. Imagine lifting heavy're until a full-size vacuum for cleaning windows or Stove with it. Pad R rThe not useful because there is no stick to it, it only collects what it finds and leaves it at the end of your stroke, need to be more like a shark pad, thick, soft and absorbent. Design R rThe of yellow pad pincers ridiculous, they do not t 'keep the pad in place if you rotate the mop head even slightly - pad coma off immediately. They are similar to a chip clip and was trying to hold a wet cotton cloth under pressure while moving. Nothing happens heads R rThe to cut too, can 't mop what is below normal and it was too light to remain positioned on the floor when the fighting with heavy grip. ... ..
